Good morning, I recently submitted another request to reset my email, but Microsoft is suggesting creating a new account due to the frequency of my requests. Although I'm aware of the limit of two requests per day, the information I provided did not meet Microsoft's standards. I have important data in my email that I can't afford to lose. The only unusual activity possibly triggering a security alert was accessing my email from my brother's Microsoft Surface. I'm reaching out with the following ticket numbers and issues in hopes of finding a solution: [redacted]01 [redacted]49 [redacted]81 [redacted]95 I kindly request assistance in resetting my password instead of having to create a new account. Thank you.

Hello, I'm writing to seek assistance as I can't access my Hotmail email, which I created in 5th grade and have used since. I've been unable to recover it despite filling out multiple forms due to insufficient information. This email is crucial as it contains job offers and internship details I must respond to for the summer. I'm distressed that I can't access this account, especially since it's linked to my social media accounts. A previous account, [redacted], set up as a backup, was deleted a while back as it was a family account. I kindly request your help in resolving this issue promptly, as my college commitments demand my attention. Your assistance in restoring access to my email will be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Sydney Lewis

Hello, I am unable to access my email account, [redacted], due to suspicious activity. I have tried to recover my account, but I am being prompted for information like previous passwords and specific emails and subject lines, which I am unable to provide as I don't send many emails. There are mentions of emails to Nova Payroll and Danielle Lane regarding a caravan in Ingoldmells and PayPal payment. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. You can reach me at my daughter's email address provided or call me at [redacted]4. I have attempted to contact customer service through calls and emails. Thank you for your anticipated help.

I received a message from Dave at Tech Support on my home phone at [redacted] regarding a refund of $[redacted].99. He mentioned an issue with the server. I am unsure if this is legitimate or a scam. Just seeking clarification on whether this is a legitimate call. Thank you.

I recently reported a spam phishing email which somehow resulted in my bob_curtis@hotmail account being suspended for spamming. Despite making numerous calls and having multiple support case numbers since October 11th, I am frustrated with the unhelpful responses from customer service. Even after verifying my ownership, the automated email system fails to send me the required follow-up email to restore my account, which I suspect was mistakenly suspended. This automated process is ineffective, and my account, active since [redacted], remains inaccessible. I am seeking assistance from a higher authority at Microsoft to address this issue promptly. The continuous loop of unhelpful suggestions and requests to wait has become exceedingly frustrating over the past two weeks.

My spouse and I received an email on our phones alerting us about a Microsoft account security concern on October 12, [redacted], at 3:50 pm. The email mentioned that there may have been unauthorized access to the Microsoft account Ha*****@msn.com. To address this issue, a security challenge was required, and changing the password upon the next sign-in was advised. It was highlighted that if another individual had accessed the account, they could misuse personal information or send spam emails. Following the instructions, my husband changed the password. However, I am now unable to access my email on my phone, and today, I received a suspected phishing email. Despite being reprimanded by the Apple Store, I am seeking assistance to resolve this matter.

I recently encountered a pop-up on my computer warning me about an insecure connection. After calling the number provided, I spoke with an individual named Peter Ron who claimed to be located in Chicago. He connected to my computer using my phone number and informed me that my IP address had been compromised, potentially exposing all of my personal information, including emails, banking details, and passwords. He requested my credit card information to fix the issue for $[redacted].00, with additional charges ranging from $[redacted].00 to $[redacted].00 for further cleanup, estimating 8-10 hours of work. I am concerned that this might be a scam. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have an old Hotmail account that I hadn't used in years but now I need to access it for some information. I never used it for emails and I can't remember the original email I used to create it. The only device I have it logged into is a PlayStation 3, and I want to access it on my PlayStation 4 for some paid content. Is there a way to recover this account, including the username and password?

I recently received a call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft, stating that my computer has viruses. Initially skeptical, I ended up allowing them to fix it last year, resulting in a charge of over $[redacted].00. After refusing to pay this time and being shown 17,[redacted] viruses, I paid $49.99. Concerns arose as to whether they may have planted the viruses, prompting me to seek advice. Additionally, my daughter mentioned that Microsoft does not make unsolicited calls. I am troubled about the safety of my private information. The scammers left their contact details on my computer. Can someone advise on the legitimacy of this situation and suggest steps I can take to address it? Thank you, B. Jahrling.

I have an old Hotmail account that I haven't used in a long time, but now I need to access it for some information. I never used it for emails, and I no longer have the original email linked to it. The only device I have it logged into is my PlayStation 3, and I need to access it on my PlayStation 4 to use some paid content. Is there a way to recover control of this account and keep the same username and password? I hope to regain access to this nostalgic account from my childhood.

I recently received an email regarding a security alert for my account sc*****@hotmail.co.uk. The message mentioned that someone might have accessed my Microsoft account and advised me to verify my identity with a security challenge and change my password. Unfortunately, when attempting to recover the account, I encountered a temporary problem. This issue is concerning as my son is unable to access his Xbox account, and we are worried about the security of our finances if the account has indeed been hacked.

Approximately a month ago, I performed a clean install of Windows 10 Pro October [redacted]. Recently, I have encountered an issue with the activation of Windows. Despite attempting to resolve it using the troubleshooter, the tool indicates that my license pertains to the Home edition, although I am confident that it is indeed Pro. Initially, I upgraded from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1 Pro, and subsequently from Windows 8.1 Pro to Windows 10 a few years ago. Throughout this time, it remained activated without any complications (with a few Windows 10 reinstalls). Since the activation occurred post an upgrade from Windows 8.1, I was not provided with a Windows 10 Pro product key. Following a significant laptop repair, where the motherboard was replaced a couple of years ago, Windows 10 Pro continued to stay active through various reinstalls until the October [redacted] update. Upon researching forums, I have learned that I should have associated my Windows 10 Pro license with my Microsoft account, which unfortunately I failed to do. I also experimented with my original Windows 8 Pro product key, but it was unsuccessful in the Windows 10 activation wizard.

I have been utilizing the same activation code for years. I originally had the Pro edition, which was later upgraded from W7 to W10. Suddenly, my code is now recognized as a Home edition, prompting me to 'reinstall'. After contacting tech support, I spent 45 minutes on the phone with a male representative who mentioned that my Windows 7 key is valid and needs to be transferred to the activation department. Subsequently, after another 45-minute wait, I spoke with a female representative who requested my name and case number. Despite providing my name and the case number provided by the previous tech, in the middle of my response, she interrupted to ask if that was my case number. She then requested my name and case number again, put me on hold, and abruptly disconnected the call 3 minutes later. After waiting a total of an hour and a half, I was left frustrated and dissatisfied by the lack of effective and courteous support. This experience has left me considering moving to Mac and Linux exclusively, which is quite shocking considering how long I have been using this license.

I was mistakenly charged twice for firewall security installation on my computer. The technician who assisted me is Jack Andrews at [redacted]. Despite my attempts to contact him, I haven't received a response. The payment, addressed to Charge One with Astronorm Technical Support in the memo line, was for $[redacted].99. Mr. Andrews advised me to mail a check due to a signature issue during processing. I have been unsuccessful in reaching out to Astronorm Technical Solution for assistance. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could investigate this matter and follow up with me. Thank you.

I am trying to reset the password for my [redacted] email account. Despite providing the necessary information, I am unable to proceed. My alternate email is [redacted], and my name is Angela Lynne Hewitt (previously Charlton). The emails in my [redacted] account are from [redacted], Westwood Care Services regarding my daughter's timesheets, and I have also communicated with Smyths Toy Store, Xbox, and PlayStation through this email. I mainly use this account for everything and have had dealings in the HU89NE area. My phone number has been changed, and I am unsure if the information was updated. I appreciate any assistance in regaining access to my account. Thank you.

In July [redacted], I purchased a Surface laptop for my son, who attends school in Rotterdam. Unfortunately, it suffered water damage in August [redacted]. Despite following the return process, including sending both the laptop and charger back for repair or replacement, the items were returned without any action taken. When attempting to resend with the same reference number, it was not collected due to the lack of a new reference. After almost 2 months, the store sent back the laptop unrepaired. The repair/replacement cost was deducted from my account on September 12th. Despite numerous attempts to contact customer service, including receiving a U.S. chat which was unable to assist me in Europe, the issue remains unresolved. As Microsoft charged [redacted] euros without performing the repair/replacement, I am left unsure how to proceed with returning the damaged items.

I am 79 years old and my memory isn't as sharp as it used to be. On 11/10/[redacted], I faced difficulty accessing my email account as I couldn't recall my password. After providing the necessary information, I was asked to complete a verification that required identifying numbers and letters, which I struggled with despite multiple attempts. Due to my age-related hearing loss, I couldn't understand the audio verification either. This has resulted in being locked out of my account, where important information for selling our home in North Carolina and moving to a retirement village in Summerfield, Fl., is stored. Despite efforts, I haven't been successful in regaining access to my account, which I've had for over a decade. I feel this situation unfairly targets seniors and I am reaching out for assistance. My long-standing email address is [redacted] I created a Google account in desperation. I hope for a resolution before involving legal assistance.

Hello, my name is Leandro, I am 15 years old, and in [redacted] I received a computer at my school in Argentina through the "Conectar Igualdad" program. The thing is, as it got locked, it asked for a code, and I had to go to school to have it unlocked. In [redacted], they stopped providing computers and unlocking them at my school. My laptop didn't last long, and shortly after, it asked for a code again, with nowhere to unlock it. About 3 months ago, a friend who knows about computers offered to unlock it [by doing some things inside the laptop, I have no idea what], and it worked. Today, it's asking me to activate Windows, which it didn't do before, and it won't let me access accounts like Skype, Outlook, and others. Can you help me? Is there a way for me to find out the code? I really need help. I don't think anything will happen if I don't activate Windows besides not being able to access Microsoft accounts, but it's worrying me. I hope you can understand.

Hello, I attempted to purchase Fallout 76, and at that time, it indicated my purchase was successful, and the game downloaded onto my Xbox in the games section. Today, November 14, [redacted], when I tried to access the game to play it since it was officially released a day ago, my Xbox prompts me to buy the game again. Upon reviewing my Microsoft account, it shows that the transaction was declined on July 7th. I verified my bank account for any corresponding transaction, but no purchase of Fallout 76 appears dated 5/18/18. Although initially indicating that the transaction went through, it seems it was declined, and I can't locate the $59.99 spent on the game in my bank records.

Hello, I am Stefan from Italy. In February, I purchased an Xbox One X. Interestingly, around August or September, the console began emitting a peculiar buzzing noise, whether playing a digital or disc-based game. Despite contacting Xbox support in Germany and receiving a replacement unit, the buzzing noise persists, albeit at a quieter volume. Additionally, the replacement console now emits a buzzing noise even when turned off, which is audible in a silent room. Although the unit arrived with some minor scratches, my main concern is the persistent noise issue. I hope to find a resolution as I truly adore and appreciate using this console. Unfortunately, without a Microsoft center in Italy, each warranty service request requires a 14-21 day waiting period. I seek guidance on how to proceed to ensure I receive a fully functional unit without enduring extended waiting times. Thank you for your anticipated support.
