I have 9 new computers in my lab with Office Home and Student [redacted] installed on the old ones. Microsoft is prompting me to log in to download, which I can't do on a work computer. I don't have the previous account info either. If I create new logins, I fear getting error messages due to previous use. The computers are in a jail without internet access, so I will have to physically connect them to the internet. How can I reset the codes to install the software on the new computers?

My MSN.com account has been closed, and despite my efforts to recover it, I have not been successful. I urgently need my MSN.com email account restored as it contains important messages, files, and contacts. I am frustrated that I am being asked to pay for IT services to resolve an issue that was not my fault. I have been a long-time user of this product, and this level of customer service is unacceptable.

I fear that I might have been targeted by a scam involving individuals claiming to be associated with your company. While browsing Facebook, I clicked on a seemingly harmless link which triggered a message warning me about my computer being infected with a trojan and another type of malware (DLL?). The browser became unresponsive, and a voice insisted that I call the number displayed on the screen urgently. In a compromised state due to recovering from pneumonia, I granted them access. They presented various error messages and eventually demanded over $[redacted] for ongoing protection, which made me realize it could be a scam. Rationally, I disconnected my laptop, notified my bank and credit card companies, suspecting fraud. I urgently seek confirmation on whether this was indeed a scam. You can reach me at [redacted] (home) or [redacted] (cell).

I need help recovering the primary account associated with my computer, which was set up with [redacted] While I've transitioned to a new account since getting married, I need access to the old one for administrative purposes on my computer. Despite several attempts, I've been unsuccessful in recovering the password. I can't recall if Louisiana was listed as the state during setup, as I hurried through creating the email to expedite computer use. I believe the email may have been associated with USF, University of Sioux Falls, but I'm uncertain about the contacts. I've changed banks and do not remember the card details used for possible purchases, which may have been bundled with Microsoft Office and McAfee. Though my old phone number was [redacted], I now use [redacted] due to marriage. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

While browsing the internet, a popup claimed my computer was hacked, urging me to call 1-[redacted] to a company called Secure Antivirus Support. They offered to safeguard my computer from future hacks for $[redacted], eventually agreeing to fix it for $49.99 after explaining my financial constraints. I shared my credit card information, allowing them to remotely access my computer. However, I grew suspicious and terminated the session. Despite having a Geek Squad Protection Plan, the company reassured me it didn't cover identity theft, insisting on their services. I'm uncertain if my computer truly alerted Microsoft about the hacking attempt. Additionally, I am curious about the involvement of third-party service providers.

I am experiencing significant issues with using my MSN email account through Outlook. Since a recent update, the email pages are slow to respond when I try to use my mouse. There are major delays with mouse commands specifically in the inbox. The page frequently flashes blank and then returns to the inbox when I move the mouse. This updated version of Outlook is making it extremely difficult to manage my email inbox efficiently. Can your tech support team resolve this problem with my MSN email account that is now connected to Outlook? If the issue persists with Outlook, is it possible to revert to the previous email version I had before the Outlook update disrupted my email usage? My computer is running on Windows Vista. I appreciate any help as this new Outlook update has made using my email a frustrating experience.

I work from home remotely. Every day, I open Internet Explorer and type in the VPN site in the search bar. It usually asks for my username and password, which I've been able to enter without any problems until yesterday. Now, I keep getting an error message saying my username or password is incorrect. I double-checked my credentials as the computer administrator to ensure accuracy. Since yesterday morning, when my cat walked on the keyboard causing multiple windows to open and random keys to be pressed, I've been unable to log in remotely. The error message persists. Essentially, I need help fixing the issue so I can sign on to my computer remotely. Thank you, Kami S.

I contacted Microsoft 20 days ago because I couldn't open any Microsoft apps. My case ID is [redacted], but it has expired. Narendra Singh from support provided a link to recover Windows 10, but I forgot it. Please provide me with a way to contact them quickly.

I recently purchased the Xbox One Elite Controller to replace my well-used old controller. Unfortunately, upon receiving it from Amazon on Friday, August 31st, I noticed that the right stick was already experiencing stick drift issues right out of the box. Despite my initial excitement over the controller's premium feel and customization features, this early defect has been disappointing. I haven't used the controller yet, only plugged it in. I'm not sure if this is due to rough handling during shipping, an incompatibility with my computer, or just a defective unit. I tested it on our Xbox One and encountered the same problem. Although I'm eager to continue using an Elite controller, I'm unsure whether to return it to Amazon or Microsoft or if there's a simple fix available. Regardless, I still hope to enjoy the benefits of an Elite controller, whether through a replacement or a repair.

I am experiencing multiple technology issues and security breaches following Hurricane Harvey. My devices are inaccessible, passwords keep changing, and my bank account has been compromised. Despite providing extensive personal identification and seeking help from various sources, the problems persist. I have changed my cell phone plan multiple times but still cannot regain access to my emails. I have reported the situation to the authorities, cell phone providers, and product manufacturers, but the problems remain unresolved. Recent data breach notifications from Anthem and Yahoo have added to my concerns. I have encountered difficulties with Verizon, Google, and Samsung in trying to address these issues. I feel like my privacy and identity are being violated, and I am desperate for answers.

For three days, I've been attempting to access my Xbox Live account. I've filled out the online form six times, as it only allows two submissions per day. Despite calling the provided number, I've been advised to create a new account each time. I've also reached out to tech support via email, but received no response for three days since escalating the issue. I am seeking assistance from someone who can retrieve my account information over the phone, allowing me to provide the necessary details for a password reset.

My Presentation Guru email account, [redacted], has been hacked by a cybercriminal. Despite numerous attempts since December [redacted], I have been unsuccessful in recovering access. I fill out the account recovery form daily without progress. I seek assistance from the technical support team to verify my ownership of the account by searching for my name, Connee Sheckler, and the business name, Presentation Guru. I urge the tech support team to carefully assess the situation and grant me access to my account, which is vital as I am locked out of my computer settings due to the password issue. The email was linked to setting up my computers using Windows 10 on an HP laptop. Additionally, my phone was compromised, and I have changed the number. I can provide the previous phone number associated with the account for verification purposes even though it is no longer in use.

Hello, I am experiencing significant difficulties with recovering access to my email address [redacted] Following my relocation to Belgium on the 7th of this month, my IP address changed, resulting in me being locked out of my account. I no longer possess the phone number associated with this account and currently do not have a phone number at all, making it impossible for me to use 2-factor authentication for identity confirmation. Although I know my password, it is insufficient for logging in. I attempted to verify online twice, but this was unsuccessful. Please assist me in resolving this issue as there are crucial emails I need to access, some of which are essential for my asylum case.

I'm struggling to access my old college email which was set up with the University of Northern Colorado. I contacted the university and was informed that Microsoft no longer allows alumni to maintain their student email accounts. I urgently need to retrieve some important documents from my old email address, [redacted] Can anyone offer guidance on reactivating my account temporarily to access these files? Thank you.

I am having trouble resetting my password despite filling out the form several times. I no longer have access to the phone number associated with the account, and I do not have the Xbox details that my son set up. I am feeling very frustrated with Microsoft as I can't log in or speak to a person for help. I am considering deleting all my Microsoft accounts, canceling Xbox Live, and selling the Xbox. This situation has left me extremely frustrated and fed up.

I have 2 or 3 Microsoft accounts, and they are all confused. I NEED TO SEPARATE, PROPERLY LABEL, ORGANIZE, and IDENTIFY EACH INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNT'S ID criteria: email, username, pin number, and password. I need to narrow this down to 2 accounts maximum for which I know their specifications, associated email, password, and PIN. These are some of the email accounts that are so jumbled I can't make sense of any of them. I also have a list of new and old passwords and 4-digit PINs, none of which seem to work: 1. [redacted] 2. [redacted] 3. [redacted] 4. [redacted] 5. [redacted] It might be best to stick with the "forever" account, which I believe is a Microsoft Home/Student Office edition purchased in February [redacted] with my new HP Pavilion desktop PC. Unfortunately, I was still being charged $9.95 every month even after I exclusively used the newly purchased version of Microsoft Office since [redacted]. I would like guidance on how to REQUEST A REFUND for at least $[redacted] - 18 months of unnecessary billing.

I have several Microsoft accounts that are causing confusion as I can't access any of them with my current passwords. I need help identifying how many accounts I have, deleting the unused ones, and resolving password and PIN issues while understanding the difference between a password and a PIN. There seems to be an erroneous account set up by Geek Squad in Feb. [redacted], and another one created by them in Feb. [redacted] when I purchased a new computer system at Best Buy. I believe I have been mistakenly charged for Microsoft Office since June [redacted], and I would like guidance on how to request a refund for the unnecessary billing. My brother recently bought me Microsoft Office [redacted], but I'm unsure if I should install it since my son believes I already have a suitable version of Office. I would appreciate someone verifying this for me. Here are the emails associated with me for reference: [redacted], [redacted], [redacted] (Geek Squad set this up 2/[redacted]). You can contact me at [redacted] (cell) or [redacted] (home). Thank you in advance for your assistance in resolving these issues.

I am experiencing significant slowness in my desktop computer, which coincided with my subscription to Microsoft Support. Instead of improving, the issue has worsened over time. Additionally, my laptop, which has been serviced by your team, no longer displays the desktop page. Upon entering my password, all I see is a black screen with just the cursor visible. Despite a previous technician's creation of an alternate login page, it does not lead to my homepage on the laptop. As a student, the functioning of my computers is crucial to me. These problems escalated following my use of the Microsoft Support service. I urgently require assistance. Thank you, P. J., Microsoft Support Subscriber

I am experiencing issues with the Outlook app on my iPhone. The problem mainly revolves around my email [redacted] I am unable to delete accounts under this email, receiving a notification stating that it cannot be removed. I found a workaround for this issue using a different method. Additionally, I am unable to delete drafts and there may be other unidentified issues. The primary concern is that, after being in business for over 30 years, I have accumulated hundreds of phone numbers, both personal and business, cell phone numbers, and various email accounts. Currently, I have fewer than [redacted] contacts, and I suspect this might be due to an iPhone glitch. After discussing this with the Apple store, it appears the problem lies with Outlook. Unfortunately, I do not have a straightforward solution to delete or remove all this data. I also have another Outlook account, [redacted], which works perfectly fine. I am looking to retrieve my data, and I welcome a phone call in response to address this issue.

My son's Xbox account was hacked recently, causing significant issues. The individual changed the email and password, preventing my son from accessing his account. Additionally, the hacker made unauthorized refunds for Call of Duty Black Ops 4, which my son had preordered. I have documentation of these activities, including the hacker's email address. This situation is distressing, and the hacker's actions are unacceptable. I am seeking assistance in restoring my son's account and the purchased game. Furthermore, I request increased security measures to prevent future breaches. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
