While browsing online, my screen unexpectedly turned black and a popup claimed my computer was infected, instructing me to call *********. After speaking with technician Mansi Sharma ([redacted]), I allowed remote access to my computer. They proposed three fixing options: $[redacted], $[redacted], or $[redacted] for different durations. I declined purchasing any plan presently and did not disclose any sensitive data. I am uncertain about the authenticity of this situation.

I am the rightful owner of this Hotmail account. Unfortunately, I forgot my security question and my phone was stolen. Although I have an alternate email, it is also locked as I haven't used it in a long time. Even though they keep sending me a code, each time I fill it out, it's not providing any assistance. I urgently need to regain access to my Hotmail account. Despite my best efforts, I am becoming increasingly frustrated. I've even contacted customer service, but their assistance has been inadequate. Please assist me in recovering my account. Thank you.

After struggling for weeks to update to Windows 10, I reached a breaking point and purchased a new computer with Windows 8. I customized the new setup to my requirements, including installing necessary software. When I tried to activate my Office subscription on the new PC, my account indicated no previous purchases. However, upon checking my backed-up files and recovery USB, I discovered that Office 16 was installed on my old PC. I'm puzzled by how this happened and urgently need to regain access to Office for work purposes. I would greatly appreciate any assistance with resolving this issue.

I made an Outlook account to link to my Xbox One profile. After forgetting the password and trying to reset it, I was informed that my account didn't exist. I decided to create another Outlook account with the same name, but the issue persists. I now have one working Outlook account ([redacted]) and another one (also [redacted]) that is deemed non-existing but linked to my Xbox profile separately. As a result, I can't access my Xbox profile where I have games and apps stored. It has been almost a week since I last accessed my Xbox profile.

In Excel, I am looking to gather data from various cells across multiple unspecified sheets and consolidate them into a single summary sheet. The objective is to compile the cell contents into a list, each sheet contributing one item to the list. The challenge is that the number and names of the sheets are unknown as different people will be creating these sheets following a template. Despite this uncertainty, I can merge all sheets into one master document for easier summary. The key is to organize the data vertically without adding them together, ensuring that each item appears separately in the final list.

I am working in Excel and attempting to transfer cells below those containing the word “No” onto a single summary worksheet. The task entails collecting cells following “No” from various worksheets and arranging them sequentially in rows on the summary sheet. I plan to send the file for review to provide a clearer understanding. On each of the 50 identical worksheets, there are 9 cells that might display Yes or No. If a cell shows No, the cell beneath it should be merged onto the summary sheet - totaling [redacted] potential cells to transfer. The objective is to compile these cells in a consecutive manner down one column on the summary sheet.

I have encountered issues with the disappearance of the Scan To app from my Windows 10 Start Menu, which I urgently need for my scanner. Additionally, an error message in Sticky Notes appears when trying to add a new note, although this problem is less pressing. These problems arose after utilizing SmartPCFixer, purchased six weeks ago to address a separate issue on advice from a GetHuman representative. It seemed that the Fixer software may have inadvertently caused the scanner and Sticky Notes malfunction. About six months ago, I successfully downloaded the Windows 10 upgrade, which initially operated without any flaws.

Recently, my primary phone broke, and I couldn't receive the verification code. I attempted account recovery by providing valid details such as my name, credit card, birth date, and previous passwords. After submitting this information, I received an email stating that the provided information was verified but not enough. It mentioned that the credit card details were inadequate, which frustrated me. I am seeking assistance as I prefer not to create a new email account.

I have Windows 10. I installed Microsoft Office and mistakenly set up an email that doesn't belong to me as my primary account. When I try to reset it, it prompts me to login to the incorrect email address, which I can't access. I seem to be stuck in a loop and unable to resolve this issue. Assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I attempted to reset my self-built Windows 10 computer due to sluggish performance. However, the reset failed as it indicated I was not an administrator. After canceling, I noticed upon logging in that my PIN was replaced with an email login without my consent. Subsequently, I encounter a "Preparing Windows" screen for fifteen minutes before a black screen appears, despite the system being functional. I can access the task manager via ctrl +alt + del, but no apps are running. I am unsure how to proceed - whether to completely reset the system, as the data is not critical, or restore it to a previous point.

In September, I encountered an issue where I couldn't download updates for my HP computer due to storage problems. Despite being advised by HP support to have my hard drive fixed, the issue persists since September. Although my insurance expired in April, I believe my claim should still be resolved as it was initially raised in September due to the unresolved problem with my computer's storage. I depend on my computer for school and home use, and the inability to update Windows 10 components is causing frequent crashes. I've contacted both HP and Microsoft, and although reference numbers were provided for the fix, the issue remains unresolved as of May. I am willing to renew my insurance once this issue is resolved, which is the first claim I've made since purchasing the insurance.

I've participated in multiple technical sessions online and over the phone, even visiting the Microsoft store, all concluding that my computer is infected by a virus. Yet, the issue lies with my Microsoft account, which technical support has been unable to assist with. Despite their inability to resolve the matter, through my own efforts, I've identified the problem but still need help fixing it. Struggling with abrupt hang-ups, suggestions of payment for assistance, and the solution of abandoning my 20-year-old MSN account holding all my vital emails, I'm distressed. The proposed resolution of creating a new account offers no provision to transfer my longstanding [redacted] account. Frustrated to the point of considering purchasing a Mac, I implore for some guidance. My allegiance to Microsoft is steadfast, and I make considerable investments annually with them.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing on behalf of Mr. Bipin Pole regarding the recovery of his account. He is my father and he had his account locked due to multiple login attempts with a possible incorrect password. When we tried to use the recovery form, we encountered some issues as per your email. My father, who is a 79-year-old Parkinson's patient, has been using this email account for a long time but did not set up an alternative email or phone number for recovery. Due to his health condition, he is not very familiar with technology and cannot remember all the details of his account or the answers he provided during its creation. I am providing some names of recent email recipients that may help in verifying the account: - D.D. Joshi - V.V. Kulkarni - Mr. Devalarikar - Sheetal Pole - Arjun Pandit - Praj Pandit You may also find emails related to NDT (Non Destructive Testing) meetings from Sangita Kapote and others, as well as welding seminars in his Inbox. I kindly request your assistance in helping him recover his account, as it is crucial for him to stay connected with people and their activities. Please use this email address for any further communication. Thank you, Vaishali Halbe

I would like to address a recent purchase issue regarding a code for the game Fable 3 bought from Amazon. Despite being unable to process a refund due to the nature of the product, I am determined to find a resolution. After encountering compatibility issues with Windows Live, which is no longer available, I am left unable to play the game as intended. Given the circumstances, I believe a resolution is necessary. As a long-time user of Microsoft products, including the Xbox and PC games, I trust that a feasible solution can be reached. While I understand the challenges this may pose, I am hopeful that either compensation or an alternative solution, such as a PS3 code, can be provided. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your understanding.

When I was about 14-15 years old, I created a @live email by Microsoft. I linked one of my now-daily-used social media accounts to this email. However, I have forgotten the password for the @live email and cannot change the social media password without access to it. I have attempted to recover the @live email password multiple times by submitting the "forgot password" form. Despite receiving a code to my current email, each time I submit the form, Microsoft claims I haven't provided enough information to access the @live email and subsequently locks me out. This recurring issue prevents me from accessing my linked social media account due to Microsoft's mistaken identification of me as someone else. I need access to this email to regain control of my social media account, but Microsoft's security measures are blocking me out each time I try to recover the password.

My spouse added me to their account as an adult family member. However, the system is treating me as a child and requires parental approval, even though I am an adult. Despite numerous attempts to verify my age, I keep getting redirected back to the parental sign-in page. I contacted tech support and spent over an hour on the phone with Earvin from the Philippines, case #[redacted]. Despite his efforts, the issue persists. I even requested to speak to a supervisor named Marvin but eventually hung up after nearly an hour and a half on the phone. Earvin suggested using a credit card as verification, which was not helpful as my husband's card was already added. This seems to be a common problem based on similar complaints online. This issue needs urgent resolution lest customers consider switching to a different brand for a hassle-free experience with setting up their system for gaming.

Last night, while my son was on Rocket League attempting a trade with "yOungdumb14" and "ghosts58," I overheard him asking for his items back, which they initially promised but then failed to deliver. They proceeded to insult my son and when I intervened, they belittled me as well. Despite my requests for them to return the items, they dismissed it as though they were entitled to keep them. Their disrespectful behavior escalated, targeting me with derogatory remarks. As a loyal user of your gaming systems for the past seven years, I urge you to address and prevent such harmful actions from occurring in the future. It is concerning that individuals can exploit others in this manner through your platforms. I hope measures will be taken to safeguard users and ensure a more secure environment for all. Kindly take action against such predatory behavior to maintain the enjoyment and integrity of the gaming community. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I was scammed on Rocket League while my son was trying to make a trade. The gamers, yOugdumb14 and ghosts58, took his items without sending the promised items. My son asked for his stuff back, but they insulted him calling him dumb. They even spoke to me, and when I questioned them, they laughed and admitted to doing this often. They teased my son by pretending to return the items but never did. I had him report them, but I want action taken against them. It's frustrating how they can do this without consequences. We have invested a lot in gaming, buying multiple systems and in-game purchases. I hope steps are taken to prevent such incidents and protect others from similar scams. - Lila W.

Last night, while using my laptop, I encountered a pop-up notification regarding a Microsoft Windows update. Opting to proceed with the update before going to bed, I was surprised to find the process continuing this morning upon starting up my laptop. Following the update, I was prompted to select a keyboard layout. Upon choosing the US layout, a subsequent screen offered various options, including Continue to Windows Rollback, Use a Device, Use Another Operating System, Troubleshoot, and Turn Off Your PC. Opting for Troubleshoot, I selected Startup Repair and designated Windows 10 on Volume 4 as the Target Operating System. Unfortunately, the system displayed a message stating that Startup Repair was unsuccessful. Since my operating system is Windows 10, I am now seeking assistance with restarting my computer.

I recently fell victim to a scam on Messenger involving supposed Government Grants. I believed I was speaking with my classmate, who had allegedly benefited from this, but now they are no longer reachable on Messenger. The scam involved paying a sum of money to receive a significant refund. The amount required initially was $[redacted] for $50,[redacted] or $[redacted] for $[redacted],[redacted]. The scammers instructed me to deposit the money into a legal bank account in cash and provide them with a copy of the deposit slip. I sadly fell for this and have lost $12,[redacted]. My husband is unaware of this situation, although I know I will have to come clean soon. I am still in communication with the scammers and am expected to send an additional $[redacted] for "insurance" papers. The scammers have been posing as multiple people, including my classmate. I have kept all the messages on my iPhone as evidence in case we can catch them. I am hesitant to inform my husband at the moment. If there is an opportunity to catch them or recover my money, I would like to participate in any effort.
