Purchased phone on ********* and * more on ********. All phones requested to have insurance on them. *Insurance on *st bought device added but cancelled (not by me) on ********. Then no insurance added by store to either phone purchased on ********. Insurance still active on *th device bought months ago.*Being told by the store that Assurant cancelled insurance. Assurant telling me only the carrier can cancel insurance. Assurant ONLY assists in filing a claim. Store telling me they can add insurance to both devices purchased *** but not the device purchased ****. Store states only corporate or assurant can reinstate insurance for this device. Again, assurant states they do not add, remove, or reinstate insurance. They only assist in filing a claim. Insurance should have stayed on *st device when purchased, as * of * claims fell off the calendar year on *********. Insurance was added and I should have been notified insurance was cancelled and why. *Ins should have been added to the other * devices when purchased. I should have been notified and offered the opportunity to reinstate insurance for all * devices as of ********, which was the day after my acct dropped a claim for the calendar year. And also ** days and ** days after purchase. Had I known ins was cancelled, I would have reinstated on *** or even waited to purchase these phones. *After spending $**** in devices between **** and ***, with insurance being requested and added to *st device being immediately cancelled days later, with only ** days left for my acct to have only one claim on file for a ** month period, and ins not being added to the *nd and *rd device purchased without my knowledge, (thinking I had ins on all brand new devices),. ALL I want is for this ins to be place on all * devices and to be able to file a claim on the device purchased *********. *I have been a customer for over * years now and have been very satisfied up until now. *The woman from the store tells me assurant removed my insurance and it's * claims per phone per year. *And assurant states they do not remove insurance and it is * claims per acct per year. So this store has lost my business. *But I would like to continue with your company. But if this cannot be handled to my benefit, I will be forced to find services elsewhere. *I know I requested ins on the devices purchased on *** because the store did not have cases avail for purchase for these * phones. *And obviously, ins was added for the *st device because it was cancelled * days later. *Like I said. Had I been notified in some way, Ins would have been added no later than ** days after purchase being ******** and * day following drop off of a claim from my acct. **This was not my error. I bought devices. Requested insurance in all *. Insurance being added to *st device then cancelled and no one can tell me why or by whom, and none being added to the *nd and *rd devices even though it was requested, and my *th line still having active insurance. *No notice to me letting me know that insurance was not added and insurance cancelled on *st device, should not affect me in a negative way. And it has. *My husband is a construction worker, (an essential) and needs his phone for work. He is also with a few different major health issues. He should not be without a phone and we cannot afford to purchase a new one after spending $**** already for these devices. *Someone from the store I made my purchases from should have notified me of cancellation of insurance, or even realizing on *** that insurance had not been or could not be added to the *nd and *rd devices. *Notification should have been made and being my acct was going to * claim as of **** or ***, I should have had the opportunity to place insurance back onto all of these phones. As *** was ** day after purchase and ** days after purchase. *Question. How is it no insurance on all * brand new devices (one being cancelled)but *rth device on acct still able to carry insurance. *All I ask is that insurance gets placed back on these * devices so we can file the claim on the device purchased *******.
