I bought a new phone from MetroPCS to replace my old phone that I had bought from metro...

I bought a new phone from MetroPCS to replace my old phone that I had bought from metro PCS. but when they were transferring over the data a lot of stuff did not transfer over. A lot of my contacts did not transfer over nor did my text messaging history transfer over. I'm trying to find out if there's a way to get everything that was on my old phone onto my new phone. If you cannot transfer all of my data I will have to go back to using my old phone
