I thought I purchased a supreme bundle deal, but it turned out to be fake supreme. The seller mentioned the brand multiple times in the description of the items. After buying, the seller changed the description and names of the products. Fortunately, I had taken screenshots before the changes, clearly showing the word "supreme." I have been away on vacation and missed the three-day return window, but I plan to return it now that I am home. Despite this, the company gave the seller a 5-star rating, which is not accurate at all!

I am new to Mercari and recently bid $33 for a Colourpop SS Shadow Bundle priced at $38. The seller, Kristen, declined my offer. Now the seller is offering a $5 coupon which aligns with my initial bid, so I tried to purchase the item. However, I received a notification stating I am unable to communicate or buy from this seller. It appears I have been blocked, which I find unjustified as I genuinely wanted to purchase the item.

I recently bought a brand new iPhone 8 Plus for $[redacted] from a person named Michael Davis on Thursday. After the purchase, he instructed me to text him because he had removed the ad due to payment issues on Mercari, which I have never experienced before. I used Cash App to buy the iPhone since Mercari was not working properly even though I had enough funds. Now, Michael isn't responding to my calls or emails, and I'm unsure if he shipped the item. I am seeking a refund for the $[redacted] as this is the first time I have faced such problems on Mercari after multiple successful purchases without any complications.

I ordered a little girl's outfit listed as a 24-month size, but it arrived as a 12-month size. My daughter, who is 18 months old, needs 24-month clothes, so the 12-month outfit is of no use to us. The seller and I discussed my need for 24-month outfits before I made the purchase, so receiving the wrong size is disappointing. I use this store frequently and expect a full refund per the store's policy which allows me to request refunds within 3 days of receipt. Thank you for your assistance with this matter.

I made multiple purchases using my PayPal card, but I am unable to log into the app. I have attempted to use various email addresses and my Facebook account without success. The one email I managed to log in shows inactivity since November last year, despite making over 15 purchases within the past month. I am concerned because I haven't received these items and cannot verify due to the login issue. I have also been charged for items I do not recognize. Despite numerous attempts to reach out via email and phone calls, I have not received any responses. I am frustrated as the phone waiting time keeps increasing.

Hello, my name is Debbie. I recently received a MK tote bag with the order number #m[redacted]7. Initially, the bag seemed fine inside the packaging, so I gave it a 5-star rating. However, upon opening the plastic, I was hit with a strong musty odor emitting from the bag. Despite my attempts to remove the smell by airing it out for a week and spraying it continuously, the odor lingers. The seller was contacted, and she claimed the bag had no odor when she shipped it, suggesting it occurred during transit. I find this explanation hard to believe. I am disappointed that the odor was not mentioned in the description as it would have influenced my purchase decision. The bag was quite costly at $85.90, and it is currently unusable due to the smell. I have previously bought other items from the seller, such as Steven Madden flats and Jones of New York heels, which were accurately described as "brand new" and arrived in pristine condition. I recently bought a 4-in-1 ladder cart. The box arrived damaged and some parts were missing. I can still use it, so I decided not to return it. I bought bolts and screws from a local hardware store. I filed a claim with FedEx, which they approved. I need a letter confirming the seller won't claim damage. I've tried contacting them through another post for about 4 days without a response. I want to finalize this. Unfortunately, Mercari restricts sharing email or phone numbers, so I can't provide FedEx's information to the seller. I need help with this quickly. Thank you.

Since August 1, [redacted], I have been dealing with an identity theft/fraud matter on Mercari, resulting in my account's suspension. Despite my efforts to resolve this through email correspondence, Mercari insists that an old account named CargBrooke178 under [redacted] is linked to me, which is untrue. Contacting customer service via email has been unproductive, with automated responses. Even phone calls ended abruptly after a ten-minute wait, leaving me frustrated. Despite submitting my ID and a photo, Mercari maintains the false accusation of fraudulent activity. Feeling defamed by their claims, I just want clarity on how my account was compromised. Mercari's decision to ban me without valid proof raises concerns, especially after finding similar complaints online. If there has been an identity compromise with the account CargBrooke178, I urgently need Mercari to address it to safeguard my information.

My Mercari account got banned as they mistook me for my father with two accounts. I unlinked my bank account from his and created a new account. My details differ from his, such as address and phone number. I contacted a representative who said they would assist but didn't. I received an email stating I violated the Terms of Service by having multiple accounts. I replied explaining that this was my sole account and I didn't breach the ToS. I emailed them today and will wait for a response tomorrow. It has been two weeks since the ban.

I received a Louis Vuitton item this morning. The seller mentioned it was a gift she needed to sell due to moving, given by her ex. She said it wouldn't ship until Aug 15 as she was out of town, which was fine. However, after shipping, she informed me that there would be no dust bag or box because her sister, who was packaging it, mistakenly threw them away. Instead of the Neverfull MM I purchased, she included a NEVERFULL GM receipt. The bag had a strange chemical smell unlike the typical leather smell of new Louis Vuitton bags, raising suspicions about its authenticity. I noticed differences in the zippers, odor, plastic covering handles, and stickiness near the brass rings, making me doubt its genuineness. I tried to start a return, but the form wasn't available on the Mercari page. I want to return it as several promised items were missing, and the receipt sent doesn't match what I usually receive from LV stores directly. I'm unsure if the item is authentic. Could someone assist me with initiating the return process?

Hello, I recently made my first sale on Mercari and had some confusion with the shipping process. Unfortunately, my printer had issues, so I had to ship the item on my own. I wasn't aware that I couldn't edit the provided pre-paid label's USPS tracking number without canceling the order. I couldn't find an option to change the label to ship it on my own. I need guidance on how to notify Mercari that I've sent the item to the buyer without using the pre-paid label's tracking number. The item ID is m[redacted]6 for the 10k hoop earrings. The package was sent via USPS on Saturday, 8/17/[redacted], with tracking number 9[redacted] 3[redacted] [redacted] 25. Any assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I purchased an item over a week ago, but it arrived damaged and stained, contrary to the description of a new item. I contacted Mercari support, received a refund, and was informed to keep the item. However, the seller now insists I return it to avoid losing the refund. This contradicts the previous support communication assuring me I didn't need to return the item. I received the decals in good condition. Upon applying them, I noticed an issue with one letter not sticking properly due to inadequate adhesive. I reached out to the seller, Meghann Jezek, requesting a replacement for that particular decal. Unfortunately, she did not respond or try to address the issue; instead, she blocked me. I find this unprofessional and unacceptable. I urge for this seller to be banned for such behavior, as blocking a buyer without attempting to resolve the problem is not how business should be conducted. I value this platform but such actions cannot go unchecked.

I've received a few warnings for some mistakes I made on MERCARI. Firstly, I posted an ISO (In Search Of) request, not knowing it was against the rules. Secondly, I used stock photos, which is a violation, although many listings do this. I also offered to sell outside the app unintentionally. When someone asked to purchase from a different platform, I declined but offered to communicate via email. Consequently, my account has been closed. This is disheartening for me as I rely on the platform for extra income due to my disability, and I genuinely enjoy shopping there. I hope to be given another opportunity to rectify my errors.

I purchased a computer on Mercari and did not receive it. After waiting five days and disputing the charge due to past issues with Ebay, Mercari offered me credits and advised me to check my shipping address and speak with neighbors. I have not interacted with my neighbors in 3 years due to a health issue affecting my memory, so I disputed the charge. Almost two weeks later, Mercari contacted me to verify my identity and proof of the dispute resolution to avoid account suspension. Although they provided credits, I worry they might falsely claim the item was delivered like Ebay. Unlike Amazon, who handled my disputes efficiently, Mercari's limited customer service with delayed automated responses concerns me.

I suggest that in the future, buyers should be promptly notified when an order is canceled. I placed the order on August 23rd and only discovered on my own yesterday that it had been canceled. The money was deducted from my account, but there was no communication about the order status after payment. I received no notification or email about the cancellation. When I checked the app myself three days later, a message briefly appeared stating that the order was canceled, with no further details provided. As a first-time user of this buy/sell app, I felt uneasy and unsure about the situation. The lack of information made me distrust the app. For a successful platform, both buyers and sellers need to trust it, which starts with clear communication. I hope you consider this suggestion to prevent similar incidents in the future. Thank you for your attention.

I recently sold a pair of red Nike Air Max 90’s on Mercari in size 6Y or 7.5 women’s to SexyEve for $54 after negotiating. As a first-time seller on the platform, I did my best with selecting the shipping method. However, I don't have a printer at home, so I created my own shipping label, affixed it to the box, and sent it out promptly. Now, the buyer has received the item and is happy with their purchase. The only problem is that Mercari cannot confirm the delivery since I used my own tracking number instead of the prepaid label. I have the tracking information for the delivery and hope that by providing it to Mercari, they can verify the delivery and release my payment. I would appreciate any assistance with this matter.

I recently purchased a Wise Cam from a seller, hoping to connect it to my WiFi. Despite my attempts, I was unsuccessful. I reached out to the seller about the issue, who initially assured me it worked. However, I expressed my intention to try again the next day due to work commitments.
