Hello, I have been selling on Mercari for years now but this is the first time that I have had a customer that I know is trying to pull something over on me. This customer purchased a Pop Toy from me and I shipped it to him in a protector, along with a lot of padding which was placed in a good size box. The customer contacts me today saying “you ripped me off” and “you didn’t send the same Pop in the pictures, this one is wrecked”. I took pictures of the item he sent me the day of purchase and I know for a fact that there was no damage at all. I am aware of buyer protection but I also hope there is a way you can see that this person is trying to pull something over on me and I really don’t want to be out all of this because someone decided they wanted a refund.
