I purchased a handbag from a seller on Mercari. The handbag has lots of damage to it which was not disclosed in the listing. The listing stated buyer protection which says Mercari will refund my money if an item is received not as listed. I would like my money refunded. This was a Christmas gift for my girlfriend and I’d like to be able to buy her one that is not damaged like this. It looks like it was “manhandled” and the listing did not disclose damage to this extent at all. The item ID is: m*************I love the Mercari platform and have sold and bought things on it and am a big fan of it but also would hope they stand by their Buyer Protection guarantee which states they will reimburse the buyer if an item is received not as listed. Thank you so much for your time.
