The issue in GetHuman-mahguyze's own words
I was trying to get a refund or return based on fake product I received. ... I purchased item*m*********** on ******** at **:**pm. I rated the item because all appeared well. Also, it wouldn’t matter because mercari only allows * days before the funds get released to the seller anyway. I saved these items for Christmas for my daughter from Santa. When she opened them we were in tears. The items inside the balls were fake and duplicated. Try explaining why Santa would do that to a child! I have countless pictures and the items still in my possession. I will gladly send these items back if you provide an address and will send you all the pictures you need if you can provide an email address. Besides reporting this seller as fraudulent, I want a refund or credit back to my account since I have to rectify the situation.
I was told too bad it’s been rated and over * days old. Told me to reach out to the seller for NO reason. Because the seller won’t be held accountable. I should have opened this gift and inspected it within * days and given as an open gift.
They could’ve given me a refund or credit back to my account. I’m out money with an upset child and was told oh well.
I have tons of products to sell but at this point I’m leaving this website. Why should I give them a cut of my profit when they do nothing in return.
I called them and sat on hold for ** minutes. The guy on the phone said he would escalate and get this rectified. Then I got an email telling me tough.
