I escalated a case to Mercari because a seller sent me a damaged item. The seller sent Mercari a pic of the same item but not damaged. However it is clear that the seller sold * items * Mint Condition for $** and the Damaged one to me for $**. All Mercari had to do was clearly see the sellers recent selling history to see that the seller sold * of the same and used the mint condition item in both pictures! But yet the second one he sells to me somehow is discounted by $**?? Seller clearly knew what he was doing and now since Mercari closed the case in favor of the seller, I can’t even leave him some negative feedback to alert his buyers that he is a bogus seller and he is probably now gonna ***** over someone else! Mercari dropped the ball on this one! Just disgusted with them! SMH
