I purchased a purse on Mercari and the seller cancelled just to repost it with a higher price. I think that is unacceptable and a really bad way to do business. I think this transaction is a reflection on Mercari because the seller can just cancel an item and repost it for a higher price. Because of this, I will be going back to eBay and no longer use Mercari since they don't seem to have rules for sellers. eBay would NOT have let this happen, if you list something and it sells, the item MUST be shipped. Mercari seems to think this way of handling buyers*sellers is acceptable.
