I'm trying to replace ** single pane slider windows. I live ** miles from the closest Menards so I made multiple calls to the Evansville Indiana store to inquire about the possibility of ordering a sample vinyl sliding window that has both sashes that are removable for easy cleaning. I also require a half or full screen. I would prefer a triple pane but will consider a double pane unit. After multiple calls I was told that there were * possibilities that could be special ordered. When I requested that someone see if a sample of those could be sent for me to look at so I might be able to see what I'm buying for * to ** thousand dollars. No one called me back with an answer. I called back again I was told by the manager Ryan, that the only brand that has what I want is Jeldwen & there is a unit on display. I then requested he double check & make sure that the display meet the criteria because we are disable & ** miles away & it's difficult to travel. I was told to come to the store that the display would meet the criteria. I drove to the store on *-**-** &walked **** feet to the back of the store to find nothing even close to what was discussed on display. I then went to the sales counter to ask if Ryan was working & he said he was Ryan but he was getting ready * leave for the day. I asked him to show me the display he had said I could come * see & he lied & said the display had been changed & he didn't remember talking to me about the slider windows. I'm calling BS! HE *****! Instead of attempting to help make a potential **** dollar sale he was in to big of a hurry to leave & offered no help other than trying to have another team member help me. You might want to retrain or replace your employees! He seems more concerned about leaving his job than doing it! I made the store manager aware of the issues & he didn't seem eager to help facilitate a possible sale either. He reluctantly took my contact info & I left.
