I came shopping after my kids went to bed, it’s the night before Halloween, I have to get hot cocoa and a few last minute items for her party at school. I spent two hours shopping and buying items and when I went to get my hot chocolate the ** hour store would not let me go down the aisle and get the chocolate. Nor would they allow someone to get it either. they were extremely rude, I had a full cart, clearly with hundreds of dollars to spend. It is now three in the morning and I am going to Walmart, to spend my time all over again trying to shop because you say you’re ** hours and you’re not. I have been sick I have been dealing with my daughter going in and out of the hospital, I just am trying to do one nice thing for my child for Halloween. And I can’t go in and buy chocolate for her hot chocolate I need for school tomorrow at a ** hour store. I’ve never been so disappointed in the store ever. And I’ve had stores miss or never delivered deliveries before and not even been refunded and I’m still more disappointed and upset and frustrated more than anything because I am being forced to drive across to another city, AGAIN in the middle of the night, when I should be driving home. The last item I had to grab was the hot chocolate. Now I have to drive so far, because it’s the middle of the night, it’s *AM, and I just wasted two hours in your store shopping. I’m not going to get home In time to do everything I have to have ready. She just got out of the hospital last night! She finally gets to go to school and partake in her Halloween party, she’s six years old. She’s six years old, just got out of the hospital, I can finally get out to get Everything so that she can have some kind of a Halloween, and the only time I had was wasted in your store. And now I can’t even bring the one thing I have to bring to the school in a few hours because I was stupid enough to go shopping in your store for two hours because you said you’re ** hours. I had hundreds of dollars of items in my cart, and walked away barely spending anything. I literally got my dry ice and said forget this store. Any employees that would look at a customer with a mounded cart at *AM in the morning and tell them they cannot buy hot chocolate are losing you money on a daily basis. Not to mention, you say you’re ** hour store, I had one freaking item to buy left. After two hours of shopping. And your employees did that to me, and now I got to go across town, Deal with the argument from my husband because I’m gone for so long because I shopped already. But I can’t come home because I can’t get what I need because the employees won’t allow me to buy hot chocolate. I worked in customer service for ** years, Southgate Michigan Meyer is in desperate need of help. It’s not just one employee, it’s five. Five people could not handle letting me buy the chocolate that they are walking back-and-forth by repetitively. They would not hand it to me, they would not help. It’s the day before Halloween! And then your employees are complaining that people are in their shopping at * AM? What is that supposed to mean? Stop saying you’re ** hours if you’re not then. It’s the day before Halloween, of course people have things they need especially chocolate. It’s the most ridiculous **** I’ve ever dealt with, I don’t know if I’ll ever shop at your store again. Aside from Walmart, directly across the street from this Meijer location is a brand new massive Kroger that has everything you do. I have a feeling I’ll be going there from now on because Meijer does not care about their customers. They only complain about their customers right in front of them in the store so, I’ll have to take my business elsewhere I suppose. Who wants to shop anywhere who has experienced anything like this? Thank you Meijer for ruining my * year old’s day.
GetHuman-drumtrip did not yet indicate what Meijer should do to make this right.
