My name is Enrique Avancena.I was booked on the **.**pm bus to Oakland from ARTIC in Anaheim,on a reservation paid by a card of Edward Limjoco. I arrived at the departure area ** minutes before schedule, and when the bus arrived - it was not a Megabus but a Herbiagi Charter, contracted by you. My celfone had conked out with no battery charge as I left my friend's house, and the reservation number was saved on my phone. I was not worried because Megabus offers power outlets and wifi. When asked for my ticket by the bus driver, I told him that the info was in my phone and I needed to simply board the bus,recharge my phone and I would gain access to it. The driver said there were no power outlets in this particular charter bus,and no WIFI.I told the driver I would dash into the Anaheim ARTIC building to plug in and recharge my fone to retrieve my number. There were no functioning power plugs in the entire building. I rushed back to the bus before the scheduled departure of the trip, explained my predicament to the driver and told him to pls , *) Allow me to board the bus, and when we reached the pitstop for food after Burbank, there would surely be power outlets there to charge and power up my celfone ,and then I would be able to show him the confirmed reservation. I told him if I was unable to show him I had saved it on my phone, he could ask me to leave the bus, anywhere the bus stops for gas and*or food, which are in isolated areas. or *) That the driver call MEGABUS to check whether a reservation was made to me and number issued to my name. The driver said there was no way he knew to get in touch with MEGABUS but agreed to my first proposal to wait until I could recharge my fone,at the very latest in the pitstop after Burbank. I promptly fell asleep as we pulled out of ARTIC,but was rudely awakened by the driver. He brusquely asked me to leave the bus.I asked where we were and he said we were in Union Station in downtown LA. I thought he meant that I should try to recharge my fone there, and so again I searched for a power outlet,running all over the station. There were no outlets for public use. I returned to the bus and to my horror and dismay a man who was manning the Megabus desk there refused to allow me to board. He claimed the driver threw me out as I had no ticket. I reminded the driver we had come to an agreement, and that he was reneging on it. If he was not going to honor our agreement, he should have not allowed me to board the bus in Annaheim, which is near the residence of my friend.Leaving me stranded in Downtown LA at that ungodly hour wasnt right.The driver claimed he called MEGABUS and was told, that I was to be thrown out of the bus in Union Station. I pleaded with the Megabus guy on the ground,who said the only way I could get back on the bus again was if I paid ** Usd cash. I refused. The bus pulled out without me. I asked the man in Union Station for his name and he said he was Manny.I asked him for a last name but he refused to give it.I walked to a restaurant to charge my phone, called my friend to tell him I was going back to his house by cab, and ended paying *** Usd Dollars as fare to his home near Anaheim.* I have a flight later tonight from San Francisco to Hongkong . I will not make it due to this fiasco of Megabus.*I am a loyal Megabus user since last year. You can check your records.*Please tell me why all this happened before I take any actions to redress my grievances.
