I believe I still have an account and need to update the email and password information. Unfortunately, I can't access my account. Can you assist me? I don't want to end up with duplicate accounts. Thank you. I'm confused and frustrated because my previous query hasn't been addressed at all. Can you please help me with fixing the account issue instead of asking more questions without resolving the problem? I can't recall the email or password for the old account. Will anyone provide assistance to resolve this matter?

Hello, I am Russ M., one of the organizers of Canberra Walking and Other Adventures. I recently returned from the Tumbarumba bike trip and encountered some issues with my login on the Meetup website as User [redacted]18. Despite resetting my password and seeing myself logged in when clicking on my photo, the page indicates that I am not logged in. This is a new problem as I have not faced this issue before. I am requesting a reversal of the charge for the Meetup Invoice US2[redacted]0. Despite taking over the group, I never received a welcome package or any assistance in setting up the group or accessing important information. The lack of contact with the previous owner or group members has hindered my ability to manage the group effectively. There have been no meetings in [redacted], and I am unable to inform members of any updates due to this issue. Communicating with Meetup for support has been challenging, especially concerning billing disputes. I am aware that stopping the auto subscription is difficult, but I hope to resolve this without further escalation for the $98 fee. This email exchange is through Meetup, and unfortunately, I am unable to provide additional proof at this time.

I became a member of a local meetup group over two years ago that was managed by two friends. Unfortunately, their friendship has deteriorated, leading one of them to leave the group and start a new one nearby. I also joined this new group due to its convenient location. The dynamics within the original group have been affected by this situation. Recently, I was notified that I was removed from the original group because of concerns about trust and passing information to the new group. I had events scheduled until October, which have been refunded. I have no intention of returning to the original group, but I am curious about the professionalism and ethics of this decision.

Dear Customer Support, I am reaching out to seek assistance with a recent issue I encountered when accepting the offer to become the Organizer of our Gold Coast Pickleball site in Queensland, Australia. This arose when Cliff, the previous Organizer, wanted to step back. The confusion started after accepting the offer, as the process led me to inadvertently set up a new group called Gold Coast Pickleball Meetup Group, instead of taking over the existing site that I had been a Co-Organizer of for the past year. The payment for this new group was processed through MasterCard ending in [redacted] on November 13, [redacted], with the billing cycle running until May 13, [redacted]. However, I only intended to become the Organizer of the original Gold Coast Pickleball group without creating a new one. It seems there was a misunderstanding during the transition. I kindly request your assistance in rectifying this situation to avoid being charged twice for memberships. I hope the existing group subscription can be canceled before the upcoming automatic renewal on May 13th, while the unintended new group can be deactivated. I am the organizer of the meetup.com/hackmanhattan group. We host a variety of events, including weekly series meetups. Recently, I have noticed an issue with the "Edit" feature in the Organizer tools. When I select "Edit this and all following" for a meetup event, instead of editing the current event and applying the changes to all following events as it used to, it now creates a new event while leaving the original unchanged. I have been accustomed to this feature working reliably for over 10 years, and this recent change is causing inconvenience. I believe this is a bug and would appreciate it if the previous functionality could be restored for a smoother editing experience.

Hello, I'm Winita, the organizer of a Meetup group named "Let's Share." I established this group on October 25th, [redacted], and later, I created another group called "Eat, Play, Love" using the same account. I received a notification in May regarding a renewal fee, which I promptly paid on May 11th, [redacted], amounting to CHF 65.02 for both my groups - "Let's Share" and "Eat, Play, Love." The payment was made with my credit card ending in xxxx [redacted], and the booking details mention "Meetup Org Sub 6M New York, USA." The original amount was USD 64.56, and I can provide my credit card statement if necessary. Unfortunately, I am unable to find any of my groups now. When I search for their names, it states that they do not exist. Could you please provide clarification on this matter? Thank you, Winita

Last year, I joined a trip from Cairns to Cape York with Meetup's Sydney Hiking Adventure Group, organized by Patrick Morone. The full payment of $[redacted] was made prior to the July [redacted] tour, which unfortunately got canceled due to covid-related lockdowns. Patrick mentioned he couldn't refund the money as it was invested in tour equipment. Despite his promise to make installment refunds, no payments were received in the first 6 months. After indicating I would report his company (Jameszon Pty Ltd) to QLD Fair Trading and Meetup, he began making small refund payments, totaling $[redacted] out of $[redacted]. However, $[redacted] remains unpaid, with Patrick now unresponsive to emails. He continues to organize tours, seemingly using the equipment bought with our funds. I, Margarita Steinhardt, along with Joan Buckley and Linda Murray, seek your assistance in this matter. Thank you for your attention.

Hello, I am reaching out for assistance regarding accessing my Meetup account as the organizer of the Melbourne Spiritual Singles Meetup group. Unfortunately, I have been locked out of my account, which includes my private group, due to using an old email address ([redacted]) and forgetting the associated password. I no longer have access to this email, preventing me from approving new members, scheduling or attending events, all while still being charged as the group's organizer. I have created a new Meetup account under my full name, Andrew Kaulenas, and current email address ([redacted]), but I am unable to access my previous account or groups. I have been on the phone for an hour and 15 minutes now. They do not recognize my email address. I have been organizing the Women of the Valley Making Friends Wining and Dining group for 15 years. Why don’t they know my email address? I have three people who will be organizing this group effective June 21, [redacted]. We need to know how the other two new organizers can contact you. I am Lori Love, the third organizer, and my email is [redacted], which I have had for over 15 years with Meetup. I can't log in. The other organizers need immediate contact information. How can they reach someone to set up the website with me, reword the welcome letter, and add the organizers' names? We need all that information immediately. How can this be done promptly so they can provide credit card details? Also, I need to know how the expenses will be split among the three organizers of Women of the Valley Making Friends Wining and Dining, effective June 21, [redacted]. Hello, I am seeking a refund for my Indian Ipswich group that I established. I did not ask for the account to be renewed, yet I was charged $[redacted] in US dollars. Concerning the initial creation of the group, I accepted a promotion on the Meetup website promising a free 30-day trial with charges to follow. Unfortunately, I was charged upfront upon entering my credit card information. Despite this, I kept using the group, albeit it was inaccurate to charge me before the specified 30 days. I am solely requesting a refund for the $[redacted] USD renewal charge dated May 28, [redacted]. I would like to address my recent experience as an organizer with the Portland Area Widows and Widowers MeetUp group. Last month, I was removed from my organizer position after being criticized by my partner, Vickie Roloff. Despite my efforts in planning and executing events, Vickie took over tasks without my consent and eventually nominated herself as the Senior Organizer. This caused tension and confusion within the group, especially since we already have a shortage of active organizers covering a vast geographic area. I believe that my removal as an organizer only exacerbates this issue. I hope to discuss this matter with a member of the MeetUp organization to seek a resolution and address the situation's impact on our group's operations. My Meetup account was mistakenly labeled spam or violating community standards, leading to its deletion. This was unjustified. As an elderly, disabled widow, I faced severe harassment from a Meetup organizer. I spoke out about this on the event page, prompting the organizer to orchestrate my removal from the platform. I have reported this harassment to the Santa Clara County Elder Abuse Center. Meetup must rectify this error promptly and reinstate my account. Additionally, I encountered harassment from two other attendees at the same event. I urge Meetup to restore my account without delay.

I have been a member of a Meetup group, but I am struggling to log in and attend events. Every time I try to reset my password, it tells me it's wrong. I've created new email addresses multiple times, but it still doesn't work. I really want to join events and have been trying for months. This is my last resort to reach out for help. I appreciate the option to chat with someone initially. However, I was surprised to receive an email mentioning potential charges for answers after I had invested time in typing out my inquiry. Transparency about any fees beforehand would be more customer-friendly. Another issue is with the search and meet-up function. It's not functioning accurately as when I tried to look for Los Angeles walking groups, it displayed options from Oregon, Northern California, and Arlington Virginia, which need correcting. I am specifically seeking the West Los Angeles/Santa Monica walking group, which I couldn't find despite numerous attempts. Could you kindly provide me with the direct URL to join this group? I was informed that I was selected as one of the three fans to have a meetup with adult film performer Platinum Booty for $[redacted] on November 14, [redacted]. After communicating on Instagram, she abruptly stopped responding the day before the scheduled meetup, and I haven't heard from her since. Despite my numerous emails, I have not received a refund. It frustrates me that she goes live on Instagram regularly but won't return my money. I have kept all the emails as proof of our arrangement. I trusted this was legitimate because she used Fan Meetup for validation and the email came from your group's address. I am seeking assistance in recovering my funds. I have been a member and co-organizer for 15 years at Bay Area Ghost Hunters, having organized 70 meetups. I reside in California. While on vacation in the UK from Oct. 27 to Nov. 4, Meetup blocked my account. I am unsure why this happened as I never spam or abuse the system. I have two upcoming meetups to plan and urgently need to be unblocked. I have not received any responses to my previous pleas for assistance. I would appreciate a prompt resolution to this issue.
