I'm experiencing difficulties accessing my meetup groups. I cannot recall my password, and despite trying the "I forgot my password" option, no email is received. It seems I may have disabled meetup emails in my settings some months ago due to the volume of emails I was receiving; my computer kept me logged in, so I overlooked the issue until recently. I attempted to reset my password using an alternate email, but it seems it is not linked to my meetups. I am unsure which email to provide for assistance as using the one associated with my meetups doesn't work, and using my business email poses a problem for password reset. I am in need of direct assistance from a representative to help me efficiently resolve this matter as I was unable to reach anyone by phone. Your prompt help in this matter is greatly appreciated as I am eager to regain access to my meetup groups.

Meetup recently enforced a limit of 2 guests per member, which is causing issues for my Taste of Wilmington Meetups. We often have more non-Meetup attendees than members, making it challenging to showcase our attendance accurately. If Meetup could adjust the limit to allow for 15 or 20 guests, it would help us manage non-Meetup members attending. This change is vital to attract new members to our club through Meetup. If this limitation can't be altered, we may have to explore other platforms like Facebook. Meetup is beneficial for us as it assists in attracting new members while simplifying communication with existing Meetup members. Tracking non-Meetup members separately is cumbersome.

I clicked on a button by mistake and now a new Meet.Up group started under my name as leader, "Discover your Inner Wild/Wise Woman." I want this canceled. It's affecting my ability to access my own pages and respond to new members. Please remove any mention of the new Meet.Up group with my name, Patricia A. McNabb, or my email, [redacted] You can reach me at [redacted].

Hello, I've been attempting to access Meetup sites in Johnson City, TN, and Asheville, NC to join and participate. However, when I click on any site, it briefly appears for about 2 seconds before disappearing. This occurs with every site I try. It's possible there have been changes since I last visited your site a year ago. Maybe there is now a requirement for a paid membership? If so, this should be clearly communicated for all users. I've made numerous attempts to access different groups without success. I am a member of Meetup as my information is in your database under the email [redacted] Please advise on how I can participate. Thank you for your help. Andy

I am looking to share my experience with the +50 Group in Missoula, Montana. After joining the group a month ago, I initially enjoyed the meetings until a recent incident involving ostracism from some members, particularly Reva. I faced ongoing challenges with individuals from my past and sought the group for social interaction. Unfortunately, during a baseball game where I was promised a designated seat by another member, La Chel, I experienced a situation where plans were changed without communication. When I expressed my disinterest in any romantic involvement within the group to Reva, it seemed to have caused further issues, leading me to feel uncomfortable with the group dynamic. It appears there might be underlying tensions within the group that need addressing, especially considering a recent member departure. I feel compelled to address these concerns publicly and will be taking further action. Thank you for listening. Erwin C. from Missoula, Montana.

Hello Meet Up App Team, I am a user of Meet Up with the account name Desie A. Sari. I am reaching out to report an incident and seek your assistance. A man named Casey Matt contacted me via inbox requesting my WhatsApp number as he claimed he was visiting my country. I became suspicious when he asked for money this afternoon after allegedly arriving in Jakarta. This appears to be a fraudulent scheme, and I worry he may be targeting others via the app. Another Indonesian girl asked me to retrieve his phone, indicating he might not be acting alone. I urge you to promptly delete/remove Casey Matt's account from your platform to prevent further deceitful activities targeting women like me on Meet Up. I am willing to provide additional evidence upon request, including his picture and our WhatsApp conversations. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I trust that you aim to foster positive interactions among users on Meet Up. Best regards, Desie A. Sari

I've spent numerous hours struggling to organize meetups for our group as I keep receiving an error stating "The zip code provided is invalid," despite entering a valid UK postcode. I am frustrated by the difficulty in contacting Meetup when issues arise, especially since I am personally covering the annual fees for our nonprofit group. I am eager for someone to reach out to me promptly to resolve this matter. I will provide my email for correspondence and am willing to share my phone number for a direct conversation while we both address the problem online. I have attempted to troubleshoot by using different browsers like Safari and Chrome, but the issue persists.

I may have accidentally created two new Meetup groups. The main group, "Awakening in the Twenty First Century," gained 37 new members. However, when trying to schedule the first meeting, I believe I started another group unintentionally, which currently has only a few members. This confusion is evident as the smaller group has an Activate button illuminated. Additionally, scheduled meetings appear duplicated, leading me to think the groups might have merged somehow. I kindly request that the group with fewer members be deleted, leaving the active group with over 35 members intact and without any meeting duplications. Your prompt assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Rafael S. [redacted]

I have been an active Meetup member for 6 years, attending around [redacted] events. However, since May [redacted], I have not received any emails, announcements, or invitations. Despite having Meetup.com in my contact list and checking all my settings, I am still unable to resolve the issue. I have tried contacting Meetup via email and phone, but have not received any response or assistance. This has been a frustrating and disappointing experience for me, especially since the platform was sold to another company with changes in formatting. Many of my friends are facing similar problems. I hope to receive some help as your website mentions, "If you can't figure it out, we'll figure it out together." Thank you for your assistance. Laura

I created a Meetup group called Main Street Vegan(r) Support & Spirit but later realized I couldn't manage it. I asked my assistant to dissolve the group, but she mistakenly removed me as the organizer instead. Unknowingly, a woman took over and contacted me thanking me for entrusting her with the group, thinking I handed it to her intentionally. I clarified that the Main Street Vegan trademark is only for my business and asked her to step down, which she agreed, pending refund by Meetup. Unfortunately, contacting Meetup has been challenging as the phone line leads to a loop and emails receive a generic response due to the change in ownership. I need to resolve this promptly to maintain my trademark protection. Legal action is an option, but I hope to resolve this amicably with Meetup. Any assistance from a Meetup representative to rectify this situation swiftly would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

In October [redacted], I cancelled the subscription for a Meetup page for a Toastmasters group that was due to expire in mid-November [redacted]. However, I recently discovered I was charged in November for a 6-month membership, and then again this past May for another 6 months. I have been trying to contact Meetup's customer service via email to request a $[redacted] refund but haven't received any response. Despite removing myself as administrator and canceling the automatic renewal, the page was not erased by the incoming person from Toastmasters. I have kept my account and the Toastmasters page active in hopes of resolving this issue, but my payment history is now mysteriously gone. My Meetup ID is user [redacted]2. I hope for assistance in resolving this matter. Thank you. Sincerely, Audrey M.

1. As the Boulder Airbnb Hosts Meetup Organizer, I am facing issues with being automatically logged in on my laptop. Despite multiple password reset requests sent to Meetup, no response has been received as promised. 2. The automatic announcements to notify members of upcoming meetups are no longer going out, which is a change from the usual process. 3. I am unable to locate the organizer tools on the site like before, causing difficulties in managing the group effectively. 4. In addition to these immediate concerns, there are other unresolved issues on the site. I need to rectify the scheduled meetup day that Meetup has set to "Every 3rd Tuesday of the Month" without my authorization. Editing times to display in a standard format instead of Military time is also problematic.

Hi there - I have been receiving unwanted emails from random individuals to my personal email. I am unsure how they obtained my information. These individuals repeatedly compliment me, with one person in particular creating a Meetup account to message me and then deleting the account, making it impossible for me to block him. I initially thought they were getting my information from my full name on my profile picture, so I changed it to just my first name nearly two months ago. However, some of the groups I am in require a photo, so I couldn't remove it completely. One of these individuals even questioned the authenticity of my picture. I can confirm that the picture is indeed of me. This unwanted contact has escalated to the point where I received the fifth or sixth email within two months on Meetup, averaging about one per week, which is quite unsettling. I am unsure how to handle this situation as I am unable to block them without an existing account. I am eager to prevent my personal information from reaching these individuals in the first place. Thank you, Shelley Cisco

This is regarding our Meetup account for the Idaho Falls A Cappella Chorus. Our previous organizer has stepped down, and now there is a request for payment for me to take over. As a non-profit organization, we believed we had more time before this transition. While we are willing to pay, we are a bit perplexed by the situation. Our group is small, and a number of members in the online group have not been actively participating in our chorus for quite some time. I am considering removing those inactive members to bring our total below 50 members to avoid the fee. Is there a way for me to temporarily become the organizer to make these changes, or could you assist in removing inactive members (those who haven't been active in the last 6 months)? Thank you.

Issue #1: I am facing a problem with my meetups in LA and Orange County, Irvine. The website seems to use one zip code for all my meetups, and my Orange County event is not being recognized correctly in the area. How can I assign different zip codes to each meetup to ensure they are displayed accurately on the website? Issue #2: Another concern is editing the attendance numbers for my meetups. While I receive 4 RSVPs on each event page, the displayed attendance does not reflect the actual turnout, leading to confusion for attendees. It is essential for me to accurately showcase the number of participants in each event to avoid any misunderstandings. Many of my friends who host meetups are experiencing similar issues, and we hope for a solution to improve this aspect on the platform.

I am a member of a Meetup Group in Minnesota called "Professionals Serving Seniors". The Co-organizer is Julio S., which stands for Julio Cruz Silva. He has a criminal record showing a felony for Disorderly Conduct and Assault. I came across a news article mentioning Julio Cruz Silva being cited and arrested for disorderly conduct and fifth-degree assault. He has hosted two Meetups at his business location. I question the choice of having someone with a criminal history leading a group.

I have not been receiving any Meetup emails for at least the last six months. This does not appear to be a problem with my email provider. I have experienced these issues several times in the past, and it is very disappointing and frustrating. The only way I can find out about Meetup events that I belong to is by going on the internet and searching for the Meetup groups I am part of. However, to make matters worse, I am now unable to book or attend any Meetups. I have discussed these issues with some of the Meetup organizers, and they told me they do not know the reason for this issue. They encouraged me to contact the Meetup Community Team for assistance. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Regards, J

I started the MovingEros Dancing group in Phoenix in [redacted]. Initially, I used my Amex credit card to cover fees. Due to a card number change, my account was accidentally closed. I reopened it on December 23, [redacted], but have since been unable to post new activities. Despite being charged $89.94 on June 22, [redacted], I'm still unable to access my group. I'm unsure if this charge was to reinstate my Meetup. I've also been charged $19.99 monthly since June as an Organizer without an active group. I canceled this after a recent email from Meetup, but have additional charges scheduled. I need assistance as I'm unable to navigate the site to post new activities and wish to keep my members engaged.

I keep getting a server error when trying to manage events on my Windows 10 computer using Chrome or Edge browsers. It pops up constantly, making it frustrating to create, edit, or view events. Additionally, event organizers are unable to add waiting list attendees on both the website and app, causing significant issues with event coordination.

I am disappointed that email is considered better than speaking to a live customer service representative on the phone. I pay for a service and expect better support. The new version of Meetup online is frustrating. When I try to create a new Meetup, it just endlessly spins, unlike before. This has been happening for weeks now. Others I know also find the recent format change unappealing. My Meetup is time-sensitive, so I need a solution promptly. Please provide a phone number for direct contact. I would appreciate detailed instructions via email to resolve the problem of the persistent spinning wheel.
