I haven't received any emails from your site in the past 2 years. Even after checking my spam folder, nothing seems to make it through to my email [redacted] This issue is especially frustrating as I recently paid to start a new meetup group and am unable to access it due to the lack of communication. Could you please update my account email to [redacted] to resolve this problem? My name is Ariel Lange. If this cannot be done, I would like to request a refund as the current situation is making it impossible to reach you.

I recently purchased a subscription and was excited to schedule my first meetup. However, I received an email stating that my meetup was not approved due to Meetup's policy against groups solely intended for selling or marketing goods or services. I did not intend for my meetup to be promotional in that way, and it is frustrating to see other groups doing so freely on the platform. Shutting down my group without a proper explanation seems unfair, especially when I put effort into securing a venue. I am disappointed and seeking a clear understanding of the situation.

I'm facing a frustrating issue trying to contact tech support by phone. Last week, I added an item to my Yahoo calendar from a .ics file for a Saturday event. When I couldn't attend, I marked myself as "not going" assuming it would inform the organizer. Instead, the item got deleted from my calendar, and now I'm bombarded with hundreds of emails daily from Meetup saying I replied to an outgoing email box. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling my calendar app, but the problem persists. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I was not aware that meetup.com, members cannot delete messages they send to organizers. On Friday, May 25, [redacted], at 4:56 p.m., I posted a message including my personal phone number that I wanted to remove. Since I couldn't delete it myself, I contacted meetup.com's customer service at 1-[redacted]. The representative asked for access to my PC to delete the message, but unfortunately, they exploited this and gathered all my personal information from my email accounts and computer. This situation has violated my privacy rights. Is there any recourse for me? Thank you for your assistance.

Hello, I recently signed up for Meetup.com and I'm eagerly awaiting a response. After logging out of the website, I received an email stating that my email address has been banned from Meetup. I'm confused about this as I haven't had any interactions on the platform yet. I was hoping someone could clarify what might have occurred - whether it's a mistake, if the group is full, or if there's another issue. The email mentioned my email being banned, but I haven't engaged with anyone on the site. I simply have been patiently waiting for a response. Can someone please shed some light on this situation? By the way, the initials MR in my email represent my first and last name; I just wanted to clarify that I am not gay. Thank you.

The co-organizer of the Meetup group "Carson City Girls Night Out," Kristan Mayor, sent me disparaging and unwarranted texts, which left me feeling emotionally and verbally abused. This behavior was unprovoked and has no place in a positive social group like Meetup. I have evidence of the texts and can provide screenshots if needed. How does Meetup address abusive behavior like this? I believe it's crucial to address such conduct promptly to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all members. Glitzy Girls is run by two organizers, Germaine Mills, also known as Terry Mills, and Lana Barr-Sanders. Terry's Facebook account was hacked along with the Glitzy Girls - Tucson group on Meetup. Terry had to re-join the group a few weeks ago. Terry has been a member since August 12, [redacted]. Despite attending various events, they are not showing up on the Meetup page. Can the membership date be refreshed and the Organizer Privileges restored as currently only Lana Barr-Sanders has them? I have a new email and cell phone number for my Meetup account. Thank you.

When attempting to RSVP or respond on Meetup, I encounter a perpetual circular arrow. Seeking assistance leads me to links where others are also experiencing communication difficulties on Meetup due to recent format changes. It seems like a never-ending loop. Could you address this situation by engaging your programmers to resolve this system-wide issue rather than redirecting users in circles? Clear communication would be greatly valued.

Glitzy Girls is managed by Germaine Mills, also known as Terry Mills, and Lana Barr-Sanders. Terry's Facebook account and the GLITZY GIRLS - Tucson Meetup group were hacked. To regain access, Terry rejoined Glitzy Girls on Meetup using a different name due to the hacking. Terry is the original Founder/Organizer since August 12, [redacted], who initially covered the fees before Lana Barr-Sanders joined. Currently, only Lana has Organizer Privileges. Could the membership date be updated and Terry's Organizer Privileges be restored? Terry now uses a new email and cell phone number to log in. Thank you.

The use of the "unpaid" label has been causing confusion and offense among my group members. Previously, I could opt for "offline" payment to be collected at the event as a donation. However, I am now unable to select "offline" during event setup, resulting in the "unpaid" label appearing next to individuals' names on the site. This situation has led to confusion and misunderstandings that I have had to address, with one person even withdrawing from an event until I clarified the issue. My focus should be on organizing and providing meetups, not on navigating and explaining inadequately designed features on the meetup site. This is what I am paying meetup to manage. Please consider reinstating the offline payment method to avoid displaying "unpaid" next to individuals' names. Additionally, I do not intend to manually change statuses to "paid" post-event, especially since individuals still appear as unpaid even after the event, which is particularly restrictive given that my events are donation-based. I was involved in a meetup group called Lava 44 Meet & Mingle Social Club, where I paid Barry Kaufman to organize events and was a co-organizer. Barry suddenly stepped down without informing me, and Arthur Evans took over the group, renaming it Meet & Mingle Singles. The issue is that Arthur is now using all my digital content and photos without permission. I want to close down Lava 44 Meetup and have all my materials removed. Arthur can continue with the group but should not exploit my work for his own benefit. He cannot claim credit for my past events when he was not involved in planning or hosting any of them. This situation needs to be addressed promptly. I need help from the Meetup team to resolve this matter. Thank you, Larry V.

I was the co-organizer of a Meetup group called Lava ** Meet & Mingle Social Club. Barry Kaufman, who I paid to organize, stepped down without informing me. Arthur Evans took over as the organizer and changed the group's name to Meet & Mingle Singles, using my digital property and pictures, which I do not authorize. I want to close Lava ** and have all my property removed. Evans can manage the group but should not use my materials for personal gain. He has falsely represented my past events and sabotaged them. It is crucial that this issue is addressed promptly. I believe Meetup.com can handle this situation fairly and effectively. Thank you for your assistance. Larry V.

Hello, I recently discovered I have a duplicate profile on your platform. My name is Toni Trevillian from Tampa. The secondary profile features a picture of a papaya tree. Despite my attempts to edit, cancel, and remove it, I have been unable to do so successfully. The only action I could take was to type cancel/delete on the name field, although the photo seemed to have vanished already. I have detached myself from the last group connected to the duplicate profile which seemed to work. However, when I attempt to rejoin the group, it adds the unwanted "cancel/delete" profile instead. I am now unable to locate my original profile to engage with groups or edit the erroneous one. The group administrators are also facing difficulty in rectifying this, as they can't remove the incorrect profile and add the proper one. My correct profile is associated with three groups. This situation is hindering my ability to utilize your platform effectively. Kindly address this issue on your end, as I am currently unable to do so. Your prompt assistance is greatly appreciated. I attempted to create a Green Drinks account for Gloucester, UK, but unfortunately received a message stating my group was not approved for Meetup due to the perception that it was solely for selling or marketing goods or services. This is not my intention, as I simply wanted to provide a space for discussing environmental issues. I believe the wording may have given the impression that I was promoting the pub where we meet rather than the environmental discussion. I am unable to access the Meetup page now to review it, but from memory, this is what I had posted. If you could reach out to me via email to explain the reason for the rejection and provide guidance on adjusting the wording, that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Rob B.

I created the first meetup and set it to occur every 2 weeks, but it scheduled the meetings at the same place every two weeks for the next 4 years, which was not my intention. I would like to keep the meeting scheduled for tomorrow but remove all the other future meetups. How can I accomplish this?

I'm experiencing difficulties with the service lacking checks and balances. I recently joined the Gamers of the CSRA group with [redacted] members. The event listed did not take place, and the organizer has not responded to my messages. I believe there should be a way for users to dispute groups like this, potentially taking over as the organizer or closing the group to prevent false events. I found this experience disappointing and not in line with what I expected from a platform to connect with like-minded individuals. A solution could be implementing a system on the website or app to report groups that falsely advertise meetups. I respectfully request a direct response rather than being directed to a general help center. I hope for a prompt human reply; otherwise, I may reconsider using this app and discourage others from doing so as well.

I am struggling to access my meetup groups because I can't remember my password. When I try to reset it, I do not receive the reset email, possibly because I had previously set my account not to receive meetup emails. Although I managed to receive an email after fixing my computer and tried to reset my password, it seems my meetups are not associated with that email. I am unsure which email to provide for assistance as I am caught in a loop. I attempted to reach out by phone but was directed online. I am in need of direct help to resolve this issue and gain access to my meetup groups.

I am having difficulty accessing my meetups. I cannot recall my password, and even after requesting a password reset, I do not receive the email. I reached out for assistance on this platform, and although it was marked as resolved, the issue persists. Getting in touch via phone has been unsuccessful. While I provided an alternative email address for password recovery, I am unable to access my meetups with it as it is not linked. I mentioned in the initial message that I may have disabled meetup emails due to excessive notifications. Could you kindly assist me in resolving this matter?
