I have experienced repeated issues with my internet service. This began some * months ago with dropped internet connections every time it rained heavily. After repeated visits from technicians and maintenance it was determined that an underground cable had an issue and it was replaced. For some * to * weeks I enjoyed good internet connections and did not notice any dropped service issues. About a month ago I began experiencing slow connection, dropped service and period where I could not connect to the internet. The local service provider has sent technicians out * or * times in the past month. Each technician has reported that the "signal strength" to too high. The second technician installed a device on the modem to buffer the signal. This has not corrected the issue. A technician is due to come out tomorrow and will most likely not be able to correct the issue. I would like very much to have the issue corrected, but have not had any success in accomplishing this from the local service provided. **I have replaced the coaxial cable in my home at Mediacom's recommendation and have been told by the technicians that the wiring in the home is "good".**In today world many individuals, such as myself, work from home and utilize the internet to communicate with customers often via video conferencing, e-mail and such. Having unreliable internet service makes this all but impossible.**I would like to have the issue corrected. **Phone number associated with account is *** *** ****.
