My service was wrongfully unhooked by a tech on ********. I have a neighbor who is attached to me via duplex and the neighbor just recently moved out so, I think the tech came to unhook their service and at the same time unhooked outs as well. once I got home and realized it was not working, I immediately started the *hr long process of getting ahold of mediacom to try and figure out what happened. Needless to say, they were not going to send a tech back out to resolve this issue for me and I was also told that techs do not work on Sundays so I would have to wait until Monday for someone to come fix it. That is entirely unacceptable and Mediacom is in beech of contract for not providing accurate reliable service to us. I have a been stand-up customer who pays their bills on time EVERYTIME AND the fact that no one will come out to assist us when we shouldn't have been cut off to begin with is beyond ridiculous! My gf does online schooling, which she can't do because we have no internet and I also enjoy spending my weekend watching football which I won't be able to do now because out internet and tv were wrongfully cut off. I understand accidents happen but to make your customer wait to have service they have paid for given back to them when it wasn't even supposed to be shut off in the first place is not going to be tolerated. The reps on the phone said they will credit my account for the time I'm without but that is not good enough. they said they can credit me $**. my gas schooling and my football is worth more than $**. I want something done about this and after this ordeal is over with, I Will be in the market for a different provider! I would like to SPEAK with a real person about this situation. someone who actual cares or can at least ACT like they care.
