After becoming totally disgusted speaking to the initial agent, I told them that I would like to speak to someone to arrange for timely disconnection of my services. *I was transferred to Nancy at Extension **** in your Chillicothe, IL “Retention Department”. She proceeded to negotiate a *-year reduced rate “contract” in order to retain my business (Retention Offer *****).*The *-year contract rate was set at $***.** * month for the first year and $***.** for the second year (Before Taxes & Fees). Per Nancy, starting in December my actual total monthly statement amount was to be $***.** for the first year and $***.** for the second year (Including Taxes and Fees). Reference Contract ID ***********.*According to my calculations, since this “contract” was agreed to, my rate has skyrocketed **%.*Can you please explain this in detail?
