My husband and I traveled from our home near Sheffield to visit our family in the Wirral as a last treat for the summer holidays. To end our day, we decided to have a McDonald's dinner. My husband drove to the nearest McDonald's at the Upton branch and placed an order through the drive-through. The order included a Happy Meal with a Fruit Shoot, a McChicken sandwich, a double cheeseburger, two Big Mac meals, and a 9-piece chicken nuggets meal with large fries. He also ordered three drinks with the meals. However, when he returned, there were missing items, including the fries and incorrect drinks. The restaurant acknowledged the mistake but could not deliver the missing items or offer a refund. The uninterested staff member suggested we pick up the rest of the order, which was not ideal. This experience marred what should have been a nice end to our day with family, leaving us disappointed with the poor quality drinks and the wasted time and money.

I recently visited a McDonald's on [redacted] in Phenix City, Alabama, for breakfast with my niece. I ordered two chicken patties, pancakes, and two hash browns. Unfortunately, the food was overcooked - the hash browns were hard, the chicken patties were burnt, and one of the pancakes appeared to be damaged. Despite the manager's attempt to fix the order, the second serving still had issues - a chicken patty had something white on it, and one hash brown remained tough. I had to return the second chicken patty as well due to ongoing issues. I was disappointed that I had to go back twice to get the order right and it still wasn't satisfactory.

Last night, my husband and 2 children waited in the drive-thru for 20 minutes only to be told the restaurant was closed when they finally reached the speaker. The staff member was extremely rude when my husband tried to explain the situation, which was disappointing. Back when I worked at McDonald's, we were instructed to place an orange cone behind the last car if it was closing time but still had customers in line. I called to address the issue, but the person who answered was unprofessional and disrespectful, which left me feeling upset. We are regular customers, visiting 5 or 6 times a week, and have never experienced such treatment before. I strongly believe the employee's behavior was unacceptable, and I am requesting lunch for my family today to compensate for the time wasted and the poor customer service we received.

I am having trouble utilizing a mobile app coupon at the restaurant. The app is requesting me to wait an hour due to a previous code use today. However, I simply added the item with the coupon to my cart to check the price, then removed the code and went to the drive-through to apply the discount. I would like the waiting period to be removed and to be able to use the coupon immediately, as I have not actually used it today as reflected in my account's purchase history.

I am writing to report an incident that occurred on September 13th at your Hartford CT location involving one of your employees. At around 1 am, my friend and I were assaulted with mace from the drive-thru window. The employee exhibited aggressive behavior towards us, making threats and ultimately using mace. I sought medical attention and consulted with my legal representation as a result. I can be reached at [redacted]. The employee's actions and threats are completely unacceptable, especially towards African Americans.

I am filing a formal complaint regarding my visit to McDonald's in Saint Albans, WV today during my lunch break. Upon checking my order back at work, I discovered I did not receive the correct meal. Although I typically wouldn't mind a simple mistake, the reason for my complaint is the incorrect order and the poor food quality. During my visit, there was confusion with the employee regarding my order for the Deluxe Crispy Chicken meal. Despite discussing my preference for the spicy meal, I received the wrong item. The patty was also burnt, which prompted me to email a complaint as I couldn't return for a refund or replacement due to time constraints. In addition to my complaint, I wanted to address the absence of the Spicy McChicken Sandwich from McDonald's menus in the areas I have visited since relocating to Huntington, WV from Arizona. I have been unable to find this favorite item and believe its introduction to West Virginia, particularly at locations near my workplace or home, would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope my feedback can be considered for future improvements. Best regards, Yasmine D.

Hello, I am Kevin Parks from Lincoln. I recently visited your McDonald's on Ropewalk in Lincoln with my young children, and I had an unpleasant experience. I believe one of your managers, a person with short ginger hair, was discussing sexual activities with a female colleague named Sasia in the car park around 11 p.m. This situation occurred after I had taken my daughter to the hospital. I want this matter addressed anonymously, and if no action is taken, I will escalate it further. Thank you for your attention to this issue. Kevin P.

I have had an ongoing issue with a particular lady at the store for a year now. I find her to be disrespectful not only to me but also to my kids. As she is a manager responsible for handling money in the morning, her behavior is unprofessional and inappropriate. I cannot recall her name, but she is a Hispanic lady who was on duty at 6:48 AM on October 2nd. I approached her regarding some hard donuts I purchased, and she refused to exchange them. I believe her conduct is unacceptable, and I don't think she is suitable for her position at McDonald's. Please contact me at your earliest convenience for further discussion at [redacted].

I had placed a large order recently and was asked to park and wait for my food. When the employee brought it out, I noticed some items were missing. They brought them out, but on my way home, I realized I was also missing coffees and the fries were not filled to the top. I called the manager and explained the situation. She said if I hadn't left, I would have received the missing items, and the fries were half full because it was all they had. I asked if I could drive back to the window to get the rest, and she agreed, but when I got there, she asked for the fries back and took my card, mistakenly charging me instead of refunding. I now have to return to the store because of this error.

I had a frustrating experience at a McDonald's in Olympia Fields, Illinois. After a large order, I was asked to wait in the parking lot. When my food was brought out, I noticed missing items and incomplete fries. Upon contacting the manager about the issues, I was told to pull back in. Despite being promised my missing items, I was asked to wait longer. The manager eventually took back the incomplete fries and requested my card without issuing a refund. Now, I have been wrongly charged and will need to return to the store to address the situation.

I had to repeat my order about 7 or 8 times, but it still came out wrong. They missed two beverages and put an extra shot of espresso in one. I mentioned the mistakes to the manager, but I still had to pay extra to fix it. The manager at the first window denied being a manager when I asked, which was odd. Then they rushed me out of the line even though they made the mistakes. It's frustrating when they don't get it right, especially for a large company like this.

I spent over $30 on meals for my family at a restaurant that was very unprofessional. When I ordered, I requested barbecue sauce, but also asked for ranch when I realized I needed more for the 26 nuggets I ordered for my kids. The staff member seemed to find this amusing. Despite asking, they only included 3 ranch sauces. When I requested barbecue sauce again, they asked us to wait for the remaining nuggets. The next employee who brought out the order did not include it, then went inside and locked the door. Upon returning through the drive-thru, they closed the window on us. I called the store and asked to speak to the manager, who was unhelpful and insisted we only asked for ranch. The situation escalated when they threatened to call the police, falsely claiming we swore at their staff. This appalling behavior made me decide not to consume the food and I won't be returning to that McDonald’s location.

As a former McDonald's manager from Oregon, I noticed discrepancies in training practices at a store in Florida where my son recently started working. I was shocked by the unethical behavior of the managers, who were selling expired apple pies, making my son work in an area he wasn't trained for, and not providing proper scheduling or pay information. Despite my son's efforts to address these issues with corporate HR, he was ignored. Additionally, the hiring of a convicted pedophile as an ex-teacher raised serious concerns about child safety. This situation has been distressing, and I strongly believe that the store management needs to be replaced with properly trained individuals. The store's address is [redacted] W. Newberry Rd. Newberry, FL [redacted].

My wife and I went to the McDonald's at [redacted] East 23rd Street in Independence, Missouri for lunch. We ordered two Big Macs, a large fry, and one Coke, but I was charged for two Cokes. Unfortunately, the fries were soggy. When I called the manager, Eddie, he requested I bring back the fries and the extra Coke. I asked to speak to his superior, but he claimed to be the boss. Eddie's attitude was poor throughout the interaction. I expressed my unhappiness with both his demeanor and the food quality, mentioning that I've been a loyal customer who just wanted a satisfactory meal. When I suggested Eddie needed an attitude adjustment, he retorted that I couldn't change it and dared me to return. I have decided not to dine at that location again, and if my issue is not resolved, I will avoid McDonald's entirely in the future.

I am a regular customer at a McDonald’s restaurant on Bladensburg Rd in Colmar Manor, MD. Today, when I tried to use a torn $10 bill to pay, they refused to accept it. I was under the impression that as long as the serial number is intact, the bill is still valid. I spoke to a manager, a Latino woman, who did not resolve the issue. I would like my $10 bill returned to me as I did not receive my order and the restaurant kept the money.

I placed an order initially, and unfortunately, the person who took my order was dishonest about the promotion. They told me there was a buy-one-get-one-for-a-dollar deal, saying one option was 6-piece chicken nuggets, which was incorrect. After changing the nuggets to a cheeseburger and a chicken sandwich, I specifically requested no onions on all the burgers. However, when I received my order, I had 3 Dr. Pepper instead of 2 Coke and 1 Dr. Pepper. Upon contacting them, I was informed to return the entire order, but my kids had already eaten part of it, and I only noticed the missing items after reaching home. The only items left were mine, so I could not return the full order. My order number is [redacted] from McDonald's #[redacted] on October 6, [redacted], around 4 p.m.

At the Paragould McDonald's on Kingshighway and Route 49, I visit daily. The employees on the night shift consistently delay my drive-thru orders, appearing to ignore me, and spreading rumors. Even the manager is aware of the situation. I typically order my food and park for about an hour. They often claim items are out of stock and make me wait. This has been happening for a while. One worker even mentioned that I was banned, then claimed it was a joke. I am extremely upset as this situation has given me a negative reputation in town. I find it unacceptable for adults to treat me this way. I believe I deserve compensation for the embarrassment I have experienced. Thank you for looking into this matter.

I am writing about a recent incident at a McDonald's location in North De Land, FL. I was disappointed by the unprofessional service and errors in my order. I reached out to McDonald's Customer Contact Center but was not satisfied with the outcome or compensation provided. The management's treatment of customers has been concerning. Despite their efforts to address my concerns with the franchisee, I feel unresolved. McDonald's acknowledges the importance of customer feedback for improving service. However, I am disappointed by the overall handling of my experience.

On the evening of Friday, October 8th, an employee exited their vehicle and verbally confronted me, using inappropriate language, after a near collision at an intersection. To my shock, the employee brandished a gun during the altercation. Upon discussing the incident with the manager on duty, I discovered the employee had a history of aggressive behavior and was explicitly instructed not to bring a gun to work. I am requesting to escalate this matter to an executive manager. Please contact me at [redacted]. Thank you. Sincerely, R. Overholser

Upon returning from quarantine, I inquired about the policies regarding payment as it was previously mentioned that McDonald's would cover quarantine costs. Unfortunately, after a month passed with no clarification, I was informed that I would not be compensated. Following a call to the corporate office, I was unexpectedly suspended from work. Initially, the reason given was a disagreement over fries with no documentation provided. After returning post-suspension, I worked briefly only to be suspended again, this time for contacting corporate. Subsequently, upon my return from the second suspension, I was promptly terminated. Despite seeking to discuss this with Linda, the district manager, I was repeatedly unable to reach her as she was reportedly occupied with personal matters. The communication breakdown has left me in a difficult position as I have ongoing financial obligations. It appears that my termination was attributed to a dispute over fries with a female coworker. I am left wondering about the company's employee policies, particularly after being removed from the work schedule despite being originally scheduled for shifts starting on September 17th through September 20th in the evening.
