Due to a family emergency, I was unable to cancel my Match subscription before the payment was withdrawn from my account. I have had a positive experience with Match, having met a wonderful man, and I am hopeful for our future together. However, as I am currently unemployed due to Covid, the $77 fee is a significant amount for me right now. Regrettably, I was unable to cancel the subscription in time, but I am sincerely asking for a refund of the $77 from my Bank of America account. I acknowledge my responsibility in this situation, but the circumstances prevented me from accessing a computer promptly. I noticed the transaction processing and contacted you immediately upon seeing it, hoping for your understanding and assistance in crediting the amount back. Thank you for your consideration. - S. Y.

My account got blocked due to a vindictive report from my ex-girlfriend after our breakup. Despite my appeals, no one believes me. It's unfair to suffer for her actions. I ended the relationship due to her disrespecting my boundaries, even involving our child. She made the breakup difficult by threatening me. Match has been unresponsive, causing frustration. I hope for a personalized response to address this issue.

I'm having trouble logging into my Match.com account. Neither my email address nor password is working. When I attempt to reset my password, I don't receive the follow-up email I'm supposed to. I would like to completely delete my account and cancel the auto-billing, as I am dissatisfied with Match.com's services. Unfortunately, I cannot log in to take these actions. It's crucial for me to cancel my account to prevent any further charges, as that would be very upsetting.

Hello, I am reaching out regarding my account linked to [redacted] Recently, I received an email stating my account was blocked on Match due to being married, which is not the case. I received a 'like' notification from my ex-husband, which violates a Do Not Contact Protective Order I have against him. Authorities couldn't make an arrest as they couldn't confirm his involvement. Can you assist in determining if he was indeed the one who initiated the contact? The notification came in at 9:05 am, and I urgently need this information for legal purposes. Please reach out to me at [redacted]. Thank you, J. Cohea PS: My phone number on file might be my previous one, [redacted].

I encountered a problem when signing up for Match. Initially, my email address [redacted] was rejected, so I used [redacted] instead. After a day, the platform blocked me and prompted a password reset. Despite multiple attempts, I haven't received the confirmation email. This issue has persisted through five attempts to resolve it. I attempted to contact to confirm the cancellation of my subscription. I spoke with an individual named Jim Patel and was given his employee number, MCI6949. I informed him that I had canceled the subscription on the same day I had paid for the month, as per the advertised policy allowing cancellations at any time. However, Jim became upset as I did not agree with his suggested method of handling the situation, especially when he requested remote access to my phone, which I declined. In the end, he refused to assist me further and mentioned a $[redacted] charge to be refunded by having me buy and activate a Play Store card. When I expressed my discontent with the situation and questioned why my subscription was not immediately canceled, Jim claimed my account was deleted and accused me of sharing my information with individuals in multiple states, which is untrue. I simply seek confirmation that my account is closed and that no further charges were made after February 15, [redacted].

I am unable to view the inbox icon on my profile page. I can only access it through the help section, where it then appears at the top of the page. However, the majority of my messages, whether they have been viewed, sent, or read, are missing. I can only see a few messages from individuals with whom I had two-way dialogues. Furthermore, the likes icon on the main page only shows the total number (e.g., 84) and not just the new ones I received. These issues started yesterday. I verified my subscription for emails, which is active until the end of May. I haven't made any changes or applied filters to my messages. I preferred the previous format where new likes and messages were immediately visible when I logged into Match. Can anyone assist me with this matter, please? Thank you! - K.

I am a Match subscriber in the UK and recently encountered a situation where I suspect someone may have ulterior motives or be trying to scam me. Unfortunately, I am unable to find any email contact information to reach out to Match about this issue. The live chat support seems automated and does not provide an avenue for open comments or complaints. It's frustrating that there is no straightforward way to alert Match about this individual and share my experience. Since this encounter, I have noticed an influx of financial scam emails, thankfully being redirected to my scam folder.

I want to report an unsettling experience involving a member on the dating platform. Despite my initial doubts, I recently joined to explore dating opportunities as a 66-year-old female new to online dating. Despite finding a mutual connection, certain revelations led me to end the association and terminate my subscription two days ago. However, I continue to receive likes and emails from both the platform and the individual named Dale. The situation escalated, making me feel unsafe at home, prompting me to take security measures. I am troubled by the inappropriate and harassing messages received from this individual that have caused me distress. Your immediate attention and action on this matter are greatly appreciated. Thank you. - TD

I am a member named Peter F Smith, age 86, residing in Marina del Rey. I am interested in rejoining Match, where I was active in Feb-March [redacted]. I recently requested to view my previous profile and summary. After being informed that my information couldn't be found under my email and name, I remember receiving recommendations to [redacted] during that period from [redacted], addressing me as Peter. I believe my profile should be retrievable. I noticed automatic redirection to Silver Singles when attempting to rejoin, and I wish to clarify the difference and ensure I rejoin Match. I have attempted to reset my password four times with the same result. I can access the app on my iPad, but when trying on my iPhone, I am met with an error message prompting me to reset my password, despite using the same one repeatedly. I initially signed up for this app due to my busy schedule, preventing me from meeting people conventionally. However, every time I attempt to use the app, I encounter issues. Spending two hours on troubleshooting with no resolution is frustrating. I believe it is not worth paying for a service that has yielded no results after five hours of troubleshooting. I would like to cancel my subscription and request a refund. The lack of customer support or assistance is disappointing, especially for someone with unconventional working hours. As a business owner working long shifts, this experience has been a waste of both time and money.
