I signed up for Match.com briefly, but my account got suspended. I'm unsure why and I appealed about 4-6 weeks ago. I'm interested in buying a membership again to restart my search for a partner. However, whenever I try to log in or create a new account, the website kicks me out after entering my email. I'm not sure why this occurred initially. Any assistance you can offer would be greatly appreciated. - Don MacSwain

I've encountered various challenging situations with users including receiving an insult for having too many pets, interacting with someone seeking a live-in caregiver, dealing with unresponsive individuals, and even encountering a potential fake persona. After being given a private email by the latest individual, I attempted to verify their background using a people search. However, I found no information for them in Texas or any other state. When I questioned him about this discrepancy, he abruptly stopped communicating with me. This experience has made me realize the importance of being cautious in modern times. As a result, I have decided that I do not wish to proceed with this service any longer.

I have been using this site for several years, but I am frustrated with the new security puzzles using dice. They are difficult to distinguish between the tops and sides, timing out too quickly. Please return to clear and simple puzzles. I am also having trouble staying signed in. If this issue is not resolved soon, I will be leaving "match". You can reach me at [redacted]. Thank you, John ([redacted]).

I recently became a paid member on match.com, signing up just 3 days ago. However, I've encountered login issues for the past 2 days. Despite reaching out to the provided email for login problems repeatedly, I keep receiving requests to reset my password. Unfortunately, every time I attempt to do so, I receive an error message. This has been happening all day and has left me feeling extremely frustrated. Is there any chance a temporary password could be issued to assist me in logging back into my account? I'm a new member and I signed up for a six-month subscription, but I can't retrieve or send messages, so I upgraded. The cost is high and I'm confused as the website seems like a shopping cart service. I need someone to call me to clarify things, or I will cancel because it's not user-friendly. To access messages, a verification process is needed, but when I enter my phone number, it's not accepted, so I can't use the service. Please call me tomorrow at [redacted]. I find the service unfair.

I'm experiencing difficulty accessing my Match account due to a new verification process, which is frustrating. I may have to reconsider continuing my membership if this is the new norm. It's becoming tedious to log in each time. I encountered problems again today even though I'm certain of my password. I'm starting to question the purpose of this additional step. I appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter. Thank you. - T.G.

I recently watched your new commercial, and I must say it was extremely offensive. The portrayal of Satan as one of your clients on the website is highly inappropriate. I am truly disappointed and concerned by this advertising choice. I hope that others who are using your site will consider canceling their subscriptions. Allowing such imagery on your platform is disturbing and not amusing in any way. I hope you reconsider the message you are sending to the public.

I don't have an account with Match.com, but I have an issue with the new commercial featuring the devil. In this day and age, I believe the world is already challenging, and airing such content doesn't seem appropriate. Seeing this commercial has made me decide not to use your services. I suggest considering using more positive themes, like incorporating God, which could potentially attract more users to sign up.

I have a suggestion for a different commercial on HGTV. Instead of a girl invoking the devil's name and the commercial saying "a match made in hell," I think it could be more appealing if they used a phrase like "a match made in heaven." The current concept could potentially alienate viewers, and I believe a more positive phrase would be better received. That's all.

I am currently having issues with my two accounts. One of them is no longer active. I am unable to sign in to the active account as I am not receiving the verification code. The email associated with the account is [redacted] Despite multiple attempts, I am not receiving the code. Originally, the link from activating the account led me to the correct profile, but now it directs me to the inactive account with a different email linked to it. I am looking to close all accounts and avoid any charges. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I mistakenly clicked on "buy now" instead of going back. I was only browsing and did not mean to subscribe yet. I do plan to subscribe in the future, but I recently ended a long relationship and am just exploring how things have changed with COVID. I would appreciate a refund of the $[redacted]. If this can be resolved, I will definitely return as a customer.

My account recently expired, and I haven't renewed it. Despite this, I'm still receiving notifications about people liking me or sending messages. I thought that wouldn't happen if my account is deactivated. A friend informed me that they could still see me as "a choice" on their end, even though I'm not active on Match. I would appreciate it if my profile and information could be removed since I'm no longer using the site. It's embarrassing to have others think I'm still looking for love on there when I'm not. My account is linked to my email address [redacted], and my name is Tricia Scallo.

I realized that Match.com has automatically renewed an account that I had almost forgotten about because I can't remember the email address associated with it. Back in June [redacted], I decided to try online dating when I received my income tax refund. It seemed like a lot of the features required a paid subscription. There seems to be a mix-up with another older account taking over, making it hard for me to access the account with the paid membership, if not impossible. Even now, trying to log out and use different email addresses to sort things out is proving to be a challenge. I had to create a new account because the old one was not allowing me to update my profile without a membership. It felt like I had to pay just to make any changes. Due to being affected by COVID-19, having bills piled up, and currently being unemployed, dating is not a priority for me. Unfortunately, Match.com charged me $[redacted].00 on my Intuit Turbo Card, which I received my stimulus money through, leaving me in a tough spot financially. I need a refund as this situation feels unfair and I am struggling to pay my bills, including car insurance.

I recently met the woman of my dreams on a dating site, though I prefer not to disclose which one. I had an account on match.com where I connected with her on a Saturday after Black Friday in [redacted]. Unfortunately, she passed away on New Year’s Eve, peacefully in my arms. Now, I am trying to log back into my match.com account to see what’s out there, but I’m encountering issues with resetting my password. I am feeling desperate to piece my life back together after losing my fiancée. I proposed to her the day after we met, truly believing it was fate. If you could kindly assist me in resolving this login problem, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for your help.

I encountered an issue when trying to sign up for the Match $79 package on their website. Although my first attempt did not go through completely, my card details were saved. When I tried again, using a different credit card, the transaction was successful. However, I was charged $[redacted] on both cards, resulting in an overcharge of $57. I have already contacted my credit card companies to dispute these charges and prevent further billing. Match should credit back the excess amount they mistakenly charged. I expect a prompt resolution to this matter. Thank you. Sincerely, Gary M.
