I have been contacted by multiple women claiming to be reaching out on behalf of their 'boss, Wayne' who does not have a Match account. Each woman has provided a different email for 'Wayne', instructing me to message him there for photos. This has occurred with three different women now, and it's unsettling. I reported the second woman to Match, but have not heard back. The third woman just sent me the same message as the first. They mention finding someone special and then their profiles become unavailable shortly after. This seems suspicious, and I am worried about the safety of using Match.com. Can anyone provide insight into this situation and whether it poses a risk?

Subject: Urgent: Request for Permanent Removal of Harmful User Dear Customer Service Team, I am reaching out to address a pressing matter concerning the user Matt3918 from Kalamazoo, MI. I have previously raised concerns about this individual, resulting in their removal. However, I must urgently emphasize the grave nature of the situation. Matt3918 has inflicted mental, emotional, and physical abuse upon me, and tragically, he has also sexually abused my daughter. Despite his removal, he persistently harasses me, forcing me to involve the local authorities multiple times to ward off his verbal assaults. His disturbing behavior, characterized by instability, psychotic tendencies, and narcissism, poses a significant threat to the community. I implore you to take decisive action by permanently banning Matt3918 from your platform to safeguard your users, particularly women and children who may fall victim to his predatory actions. It is crucial to prevent further harm and to allow me to move forward without fear of his presence. I appreciate your prompt attention and understanding of the critical nature of this request. Yours sincerely, Fiestyone

Every time I try to enter my password, my email address keeps changing back to my screen name. I've reset my password multiple times, and now I'm not even sure which Google email I used when creating the account on my office computer. My office email is where I can be reached. Is it possible for me to start fresh with my account? I realize I made some errors in setting up my profile, but I'm willing to correct them. I've already provided my financial information and don't wish to cancel. I just want to complete my profile properly. At one point, it seemed like I was getting matched with women, which would make my father proud.

My current email is [redacted] I attempted to reset my password but was unsuccessful. I signed up today and paid $[redacted] for a 6-month subscription. I found my experience with Match.com to be frustrating and deceptive. The service's tiered payment structure requires fees for each step you take, from viewing profiles to interacting with potential matches. The initial join fee seems inactive, allowing access to profiles outside of your area. Match.com's advertising does not make it clear that additional fees are required for essential features like sending emails and connecting with local matches. Their monopoly on online dating platforms is concerning as well. I have yet to receive a refund for the $[redacted].94 charge on 7/5/18, even though $77.00 was already refunded. I insist on the prompt reimbursement of $[redacted].94 to my Visa card. I have no intention of using Match.com's dishonest services any longer. Thank you for addressing this matter promptly. - Gail J.

I am disappointed with Match.com's service, as it appears deceptive and costly. Their tiered payment structure is frustrating, requiring fees for each step in using their services. The initial join fee is misleading, allowing you to view profiles far from your location without clarification. While they advertise a reasonable join fee, additional charges for emailing and connecting with local matches are not disclosed upfront. I believe Match.com holds a monopoly in the online dating market. I am requesting the prompt refund of $***.** charged to my Visa card. Although $**.** has been refunded, I am still waiting for the $***.** refund. I have no intention of utilizing their services further. Thank you for addressing this matter promptly. - Gail J.

I previously used a profile that has not been active for a long time, probably only used it for a few weeks. I need to update my profile as it has been misinterpreted by others. I recently rejoined and paid for a 3-month membership last week. I am unable to change my username or view my profile to update it along with my pictures. If I can't make these changes, I will need to request a cancellation and a refund. When I tried to rejoin, the system indicated my account was closed, so I created a new one, only to find myself back to my old account. I would appreciate assistance in completely erasing my old account to create a new one with a different name.

On July 14th or 15th, [redacted], I signed up for match.com. Shortly after, when trying to log in, I received a message saying my account had been blocked by Match. I reached out to them to understand the reason and how to fix it. Match.com responded stating that my account had been terminated according to their Terms of Use. They mentioned that it was in the best interest of their member community. The Terms of Use provided were extensive, and I just want to know the specific reason for termination and any steps I can take to resolve the issue. If I unknowingly violated company policies, I would appreciate clarification to ensure it does not happen again. Thank you, Larry W.

Please stop emailing me immediately. I am not sure how you obtained my information, including my age, without my consent. The "matches" you are sending me are completely off, with suggestions for individuals who are 28 years old. I demand that you remove my email address from your database promptly. Your unsubscribe process is misleading and requires me to provide my details, which I find deceitful. I may have unknowingly triggered this situation when mentioning Match to a friend a while ago. However, I did not engage with the emails until my friend opened them, and we both found the suggested matches to be inaccurate. The more I tried to unsubscribe, the more convoluted the process became, insisting on disclosing personal information. If I continue to receive emails, I will consider involving the media to address your unscrupulous practices. Several of my acquaintances are equally displeased with your approach.

Upon reviewing my bank account, I noticed that Match.com renewed my membership on July 13 without my permission. I had canceled my membership on May 25 and had not used their service after May 30. They charged $65.97 two months later without my consent. I am requesting a refund as I did not authorize this transaction. I have used Match.com before and am familiar with their renewal process, which is why I canceled my membership early. Please refund the $65.97 as soon as possible. Thank you.

I signed up on match.com between June 8 to 11, [redacted], while in LA visiting family. After completing the registration and entering my credit card information, I realized I made a mistake. I promptly canceled my subscription. However, as I reside in Israel, I suspect an error in my email address: [redacted] instead of [redacted] I did not receive any email notifications. My name is Miriam L., address: [redacted] Gorham Ave. #5, Los Angeles, CA [redacted]. Currently in Israel at 12 Hadror #3, Hod Hashron. My phone number is [redacted]33. My birthdate is 5/15/[redacted]. I don't recall my username, possibly mimalou, and I cancelled before setting a password. I would appreciate a refund of $[redacted].94 for the 6-month subscription. I enrolled in the 6-month match guarantee program for free. Despite filling out surveys and expressing my disappointment, I, a 38-year-old woman seeking a male aged 35-45, have encountered only much older men contacting me. The men I have chatted with quickly stopped responding, leaving me feeling disconnected with no meaningful connections. Now, I am facing a charge of $[redacted].94 with no results and wish to cancel my account to avoid further fees. I do not want to continue with the service as it has not met my expectations, allowing older individuals and even a woman to contact me. I request a refund and immediate closure of my account.

Good evening, I recently reactivated my Match account only to have a concerning experience. After connecting with a single individual, they requested my email, which I unfortunately provided. It turns out this person was a scammer, prompting me to change my email address to ensure my safety. Following this, I am unable to log into my Match account, leaving me feeling quite unsettled. This is the second time this has occurred, leading me to feel insecure about using this platform. I kindly request assistance in cancelling my account and receiving a refund of $[redacted].94 to address this issue. The name of the member in question is [redacted] Thank you, Edith Raskansky

Dear Sir/Madam, This is my third time reaching out as I have not received a response from you. Two days ago, I visited the match.com website with hesitations about joining. Though I entered my bank card details for a 3-month subscription, I ultimately decided not to proceed. Unfortunately, when I tried to go back, the payment was still processed against my intention. I now find myself in a situation I did not wish to be in and feel very distressed about it. I have contacted you three times in regards to a full refund as I unwillingly paid over £[redacted] due to the system not allowing me to exit the payment screen. I would greatly appreciate your urgent assistance in deleting my profile entirely and providing a full refund. This experience has been very upsetting for me, and I hope for your understanding and prompt resolution. Thank you.

Dear Sir or Madam, This is my third attempt to reach out regarding an issue I'm facing. Recently, I visited the match.com website with the intention of possibly joining. I have encountered a serious problem with Plenty of Fish, which is owned by Match. I've had difficulty reaching POF for help. I believed my account was deleted but was informed otherwise by a friend. I reached out to [redacted], a number found through a Google search for POF. A representative mentioned three individuals were possibly hacking my profile and requested to remotely access my computer, which I declined. After calling again, a different representative assured me my account would be deleted within 24 hours. However, I am now unable to reach that number and have concerns about its legitimacy. When attempting to log in to POF, I receive an error message stating my password is incorrect. Despite numerous attempts to reset my password using my email, nothing occurs. I urgently require my POF account to be deleted. I will contact the consumer protection office of the North Carolina Attorney General's office and the Federal Trade Commission, if required. - Jim C.

Hello, my name is Melissa. I'm not computer savvy and had no idea I was still a member of Match.com as I haven't accessed it for over a year. I thought it was a one-time upfront payment. I recently discovered I've been deducted monthly since then. Could you please check my profile to see when I last accessed the account? Since becoming a full-time single carer for four children aged 10 months to 12 years, I'm struggling financially. I would like a refund of $50 per month deducted since I last logged in early last year. I'm willing to waive the rest. The transaction number on my statement is [redacted]. My user name was MissBenn, email [redacted], and my contact number is [redacted]. Please reach out if you need more information. Thank you for your understanding. Melissa Hands (nee Bennell)

I joined Match.com about 3 months back. I have been talking to someone who now claims he needs $4,[redacted] wired to him for an oil deal abroad. It sounds suspiciously similar to other scams. I want to report this person and provide all the relevant details. Recently, another match contacted me, also involved in oil and planning a trip to Turkey. I suspect a similar scam. I can understand how people fall for this. I closed my account on July 12 and would like to confirm this.

Subject: Unauthorized Use of My Profile Hello, I am reaching out to report the unauthorized use of my profile on Match.com. My username, yodegod, has been unlawfully used by someone who has created a profile under my name. I would like to address this issue promptly. I met my husband on Match.com nearly 8 years ago and closed my account in October [redacted]. However, the unauthorized profile under "Yodegod" claims to be a 41-year-old woman living in Marlborough, MA, using pictures from my closed account. It is concerning that my information is being misused despite my account being inactive for years. I kindly request immediate action to be taken against this fraudulent account and a review of the security measures in place to safeguard my private information. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Warm regards, Yolanda Djom
