Hi my name is Karen Cunningham. I have been a customer of Marshalls for many years. I shop at a number of your locations. Your waterfront drive location in Homestead I have not been in for a number of years. Because of the unprofessional demeanor of some of your sales clerks and management team. However Christmas time I did frequent several locations to include Homestead. Of which on December ** I took back items there. In the morning. I was the first customer at the door. Along with another black lady customer. When Evelyn unlocked the doors for entry, the other female customer went in the out door to get in store first. I walked in the in door. I walked so fast that I the other lady said boy you must be in a rush. I replied to her just like you are. And that was the end of our communications. I got in line to make my return. Evelyn was very rude to me and she tried to create a confrontation between me and the other black lady. By saying to me "the other lady was before you and I don't think it is fair to take you ahead of her!" That lady wasn't even standing at a register yet but off to the side looking at merchandise. I told Evelyn Actually I was before the other lady. Evelyn presented me with extreme attitude stretching her eyes acting hostile and unprofessional. It was unbelievable. This was on December **st. Then I returned to store to return a $** purse, and a pair of $**.** yoga pants. Of which I did have the receipt for. There was * registers open of which ** Debbie was on and available . I went to go to her register she gave me unfriendly look and told me to go to another register and she left her register. I got to register where trina was assisting young cashier with my return. Trina took cashier off to side and smelled the yoga pants three times. Trina walked over and said we can take back pants but cant resale purse. She said there was dirt in purse, a blatant lie! Then they shortchanged me on money I should of gotten back. I am outraged and would like to address it with district manager. THANK YOU, Sincerely, Karen Cunningham ***-***-****
