Re: CASE ID***********After reading about your "OnemillionSnickers" offer last week I attempted numerous times & kept getting a message on your site stating the "bowl was being refilled". On ******** I was finally able to successfully be prompted on my mobile device for instructions. I simultaneously received a text message from your company (*****) @**:** p.m. reflecting a code which is copy & pasted here. "Your SNICKERS* verification code is: ******." Upon a further prompt from your site I was asked to enter the code I'd just received, which I immediately did, and that was the end of it. I NEVER received the promised & advertised gift card for the free bag of candy that was advertised from your company. I immediately thought it was a scam since I'd never experienced anything like this. However, given the source in which I'd read about your promotion I could not understand why it would have been a scam. I replied to the text I received along with the code, sent an e-mail to the address provided *****@***.com & made numerous calls to your consumer affairs office to find out why I never received the promised & advertised gift card after submitting the code received from your company. I was and still am extremely disappointed in the fact that a company as well known as yours has yet to respond in order to address the issue that took place. I am not in need of a free bag of candy but being the principled person that I am, I feel that when something is advertised and promised upon receiving a code and that code has been submitted, then the company should at the very least honor what was advertised & promised. I should not have had to waste so much of my time contacting your consumer affairs department, getting the run around, representatives on the phone wanting to pass the buck, etc..., etc... I was finally able to get a supervisor on the phone after numerous attempts to get someone to assist me. The supervisor I spoke with, Jennifer, apologized for what I'd been through & took my information as to what had transpired along with sending me an e-mail from the desk of Patsy Duran along with the Case ID * provided above. Jennifer asked that I copy & paste the text message I received along with the code provided for the free bag of candy as well as providing her the ****** I'd received it from. To date, I have not received a single response to the text, e-mail sent to your support address nor the Case ID that was to be internally transferred to the appropriate department from Jennifer, the supervisor. At the very least your company should have apologized for whatever glitch took place by offering to stand behind the offer & send me either the gift card or a coupon for the free advertised bag of candy. It has left me with a negative feeling & as a result, the decision to no longer purchase any products from your company. As a consumer, this was*is extremely disappointing to say the least.
