I am experiencing a buzzing sound in the audio when using my Magic Jack. I have rebooted the modem, checked all connections, and even swapped out the power supply without success. I also have a second Magic Jack bought in [redacted], but it is unused. The buzzing noise persists on the VOIP line associated with Magic Jack, even when I switch wireless systems. I have tried different phone configurations but nothing eliminates the buzz. The unused unit I bought in [redacted] has a serial number A [redacted] 10 18C4F. I have the Magic Jack Go. Every 5 weeks, when I lift my phone receiver, I get a busy tone and incoming callers hear the same. A technician advised a new router, which I acquired, but the issue persists. My internet provider verified their end is fine, and the problem recurred after 4 weeks. This continuous annoyance is becoming unbearable. Could my Magic Jack Go be faulty? Please assist with a resolution. Thank you, A.

Hello, I have been a MagicJack customer for many years, but I currently have an issue and I'm not sure if you can help me. I am a retired person (71 years old) living in Colombia, and this device has been with me all the time, allowing me to greet my friends in the United States. Suddenly, it asked for the username and password, and I realized that my son gifted and set up this device many years ago, so I don't know how to access them. I'm wondering if maybe my wife's username is associated, her email is [redacted] My email is [redacted], and I please ask for your assistance as I am completely disconnected now, and all my contacts are on MagicJack. My MagicJack number for my PC is [redacted]. I recently experienced an issue where it lost all my address listings, both recent and saved, and wasn't allowing the addition of new contacts. Despite attempting various troubleshooting steps like rebooting, I ended up unplugging and uninstalling it. Now, I am seeking assistance to reinstall it on my computer, hoping to restore its functions and recover my address book entries. Annoying situation that I'm eager to resolve. I was charged double on my account, which is a mistake. I only authorized a payment of $[redacted], but I see double that amount plus an extra dollar deducted. I have contacted customer service already, but the extra charge needs to be rectified promptly. Hello, we recently contacted Magic Jack to change our phone number from [redacted] to [redacted]. Our current phone service provider is Cogéco Cable from Trois-Rivières, and we have that number with them. We understand that we need to cancel our subscription with Cogéco Cable before we can transfer the number to Magic Jack. We are planning to cancel our Cogéco Cable subscription soon due to switching our alarm system from a phone line to an internet line. After the internet line is set up, we will cancel Cogéco Cable and then reach out to Magic Jack to obtain the [redacted] number. Thank you for your assistance.

I recently received an email from MagicJack offering me the chance to renew my service, which I did on July 20, [redacted]. I expected the service to be immediately available after renewing. However, I have been unsuccessful in getting in touch with anyone. I received an email later saying I had purchased a MagicJack, which was not what I intended. I renewed the service because I already have the device and did not need another one, especially as I am currently traveling abroad. I have been attempting to resolve this misunderstanding without any luck so far. My daughter found an open MagicJack package in my mailbox recently. Since the service is not working as expected, I would like a refund and can return the device if needed. I hope to get some assistance with this issue soon as I am quite frustrated with the situation.

I am having trouble accessing my MagicJack services. I have been a customer for 14 years and cannot sign in to my account due to a "no credentials" message. Despite trying numerous customer service numbers, I have not been able to reach a real person at MagicJack for assistance. I sent a check last Monday with my phone number on it, located on the bottom left-hand corner, to their Florida address. Furthermore, I am locked out of my account on the computer. I have been a loyal Magicjack customer for nine years. Despite my account showing a renewal date of 8-21-[redacted], your sales and billing teams keep pressuring me for an early renewal. Please review my account as it clearly states the renewal is not due until [redacted]. I prefer to communicate directly with Magicjack employees rather than third-party contractors. I recently renewed my subscription with MajicJack after receiving an email from them. Unfortunately, I was charged twice on my credit card for $45.92 each on 10/8. I reached out to MajicJack customer service on 10/19, and was told they would investigate and get back to me via email. However, I never received that email. On 10/26, when I called back, I was informed that since I didn't report the double charge immediately, they couldn't assist further. Despite explaining that I did call right after seeing it on my statement, the call ended abruptly. I am confused why MajicJack is refusing to refund the duplicate payment. I am reaching out on behalf of a friend who is not a native English speaker. They had MagicJack working on their computer, but it crashed. After recharging it, they received a message asking them to log in again. Unfortunately, they had forgotten their password. They requested a code to set up a new password, which was sent to their email address [redacted] However, when they tried to use the code to create a new password, it was unsuccessful. I am in the process of transferring my number from MagicJack to another provider. The new provider submitted the request on 11/20/[redacted], and MagicJack accepted it on 11/24/[redacted]. As of today, 12/03/[redacted], the transfer is still not complete. I have spoken to a representative and submitted inquiries, but have not received any response. I am simply looking for my number to be successfully transferred to my new provider and my MagicJack account to be closed. I am disappointed by the lack of communication regarding this matter.
