To whom it may concern,**I would like to file a complaint. Sorry, it took me a little longer than it should to do that.**Monday, November *, **** I visited Macys in Santa Rosa Plaza, Santa Rosa, CA.*This store is one of my favorite stores, and I am a loyal customer of Macys for many years.**I was there in the middle of the day, between *:** -*:** pm. The store was nearly empty. Just several clients, which was very convenient for me, and probably for the staff too because there were not so many of them in each department and they were redecorating the store for the holidays.**I had made my purchase and before driving back to work, I decided to visit the Ladies room. I went through the home department on a third floor, went to the restroom, and stepped into the doorway between restroom and seating lounge area and this is exactly where it happened.**I fell down so badly that I literally saw stars. My right foot suddenly twisted inwards and I fell on my right leg in a very accurate twisted position and knocked my right arm on the doorway. Everything happened very sudden, and it took me a minute to realize what had just happened. I was trying to stand up, but my right leg was in pain and I couldn’t rise up. I glanced around with a blind sight, as everything was blurry. *Someone asked me if I was OK, and I said that I am not sure. *She said: ”Let me help you”, and I looked at her. She was a cleaning lady and she helped me to sit down on the couch.*I looked at the floor* it was wet, like freshly mopped right in the doorway. I looked at cleaning lady and I told her - the floor is wet! You should put the warning cone here. She asked me if I need anything. I told her that I am not sure, and she left. I was sitting there for several long minutes and was trying to put myself together and feel my leg and ankle. All of my right side was in pain. I looked at my forearm and saw that it was swollen and scratched raw.*After some time, I went towards the home department, but no one was there, I went to the children department and saw a salesperson. I was limping and felt so bad, tears started to drop from my eyes. *I told her that I just fell in the restroom because the floor is wet and there was no warning cone, and the cleaning lady left. The sales lady asked me if I was OK and I told that I am not. She asked if I want to make a complaint. I said no, but this is not a good situation. She said that she had to go and check on the floor in the restroom and she left…*I was absolutely lost, I felt terrible and in pain, and I went to my car and drove to work.*Then I realized that I couldn’t really work. I am an esthetician, I do facials and upper back and shoulders massages when my clients are lying down on their back. It means that my forearms need to slide under the clients back. I am in contact with water all the time. My right forearm is swollen, bruised and skinned. Any little touch, or contact with anything makes it burn. **I didn’t break anything, nothing deadly, I just pulled my muscles and skinned the area of my forearm. But this affected my work, and it could have been avoided if a simple warning sign would have been there.*Macy’s staff – * ladies, with whom I was in contact, absolutely mishandled the situation. They simply left me alone and went away when I was saying that I am not sure that I am OK. When I showed my forearm that was skinned and tears were running from my eyes. They didn’t offer me a glass of water, bandage, or anything. Both of them just turned around and left to their chores.**Now, a couple days later, I came to my senses and looked at what happened to me that Monday and I decided to file a complaint. I can send a picture of my right forearm. Unfortunately, I cannot send a picture of my pulled muscles, but I could say that I am still limping and it is painful.**I look forward to your reply.*Sincerely,*Lioudmila Souglobova******@***.com
