I recently received a second notice regarding a poor rating. The first notice claimed I wasn't wearing a mask, which is untrue as I always wear one. Today, I took two rides, and the first driver didn't provide his name or ask for mine. I suspect he may have been unhappy with my comment about the car being too high for me to get into without assistance from my doorman. I believe this rating isn't justified. If I was impolite or problematic, I would understand, but this seems unfair. Could you please rectify this error in my records? It's unsettling to have inaccurate information, especially since I frequently use Lyft. Thank you, Gail.

Last night, Lift charged me twice for a ride. They explained that one of the charges is just a temporary fee to verify my card, but it took all the money I had on my debit card. Now, I'm left without funds to feed my special needs child for Christmas. Waiting for 5 to 7 days for the refund is not an option for me, as this is all the money I have for the week.

I had a frustrating experience with a driver named Guka. He claimed to have been waiting for 6 minutes, but I couldn't see him as I was in front of my house and he parked across the street. Due to my disability, I can't walk over to him. He didn't even try to notify me of his presence. Another driver, Maxwells, came in a car that was too small and left. The charges for such failed pickups are unreasonable. My friend had to book and pay for my ride. I believe drivers not doing their job should not result in charges. If this issue persists, I am considering switching to Access Link, which has better service at a fraction of the cost. If this problem isn't resolved, I will delete the app from my phone.

On 12/21/21 at 10:08 am, I utilized the Lyft service for my trip and I have some questions: 1. A few months ago, I took the same trip with Lyft, which was even longer, and a better vehicle, but the charge was around $35. This time it is over $40. Can you explain the reason for the difference in price? 2. The driver was speeding, playing the radio too loudly, and took the wrong route initially. After I brought it up, the driver turned off the radio and corrected the route, but the experience was uncomfortable.

I requested a Lyft ride on Sunday and waited outside my home for about an hour. The driver kept texting me that she was outside, but when I called and checked, she was nowhere to be found. Now Lyft is trying to charge me a fee for a no-show, even though I was waiting the whole time in the cold. I would like the fee refunded from my account. - Ameldia H. from [redacted] Lawndale Street, Philadelphia, PA [redacted], [redacted].

On December 13th, I requested a ride at 8:30 am to go to work. After speaking with the driver twice and being told they would pick me up shortly, they never showed up. To make matters worse, my ride was cancelled, and $50 was deducted from my account. Despite this being my fifth complaint, I still have not received my refund. This situation is unacceptable, and I demand that my money be returned promptly to stop this ongoing issue.

I am facing an issue with running my vehicle because I am being told that I am suddenly not eligible. My background check was completed by Ryan, and it is good. Likewise, my driving record is also clean, and I have submitted all the necessary documents. Strangely, the system has identified my original account from back in [redacted] when I first signed up. It seems to be associating me with driving my old car which I no longer own. I wonder if this outdated information is causing the current eligibility problem.

I recently discovered unauthorized charges on my Cash App card from San Francisco, California in June. Someone used my card number for Lyft rides, even though I live in Raleigh, North Carolina and never shared my card details in San Francisco. There was also a recent attempted charge this past Wednesday. I am seeking a refund for the charges from June. Please reach me at [redacted]. If I do not receive a response within a week, I will be reaching out to local consumer advocacy groups in Raleigh, North Carolina and the Better Business Bureau.

As a frequent Lyft customer, I had an emergency MRI appointment yesterday and requested a ride to [redacted] 2nd Street NE, Washington DC. The initial quote was $15.99, but when I confirmed, the price jumped to $22.99. Being a disabled individual on a fixed income, this unexpected increase was distressing. The driver mentioned it was due to Christmas, but I explained that as a Jewish person, it did not apply to me. I believe I should have been charged the original $15.99 as quoted. I feel let down as a loyal customer by Lyft's pricing discrepancy.

I am an elderly woman with vision loss in a new city. I usually rely on Lyft for transportation, but my account was unexpectedly suspended for one day, and I am unsure why. Despite my consistent use of masks during rides and generous tips, my account has not been reinstated. Lyft is requesting a profile picture of me wearing a mask, which I have attempted to upload multiple times. Unfortunately, due to my macular degeneration affecting my central vision, I am struggling to complete this task as the on-screen instructions do not match what I can see. I am feeling unsafe and unfairly treated, seeking assistance as uploading the required photo has proven challenging for me. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I'm Tamera Mitchell contacting you regarding an incident involving a driver named Dash. He used my stolen credit card to withdraw $50 from my Synovus bank account, which was captured on camera footage. He also possesses my phone number and made inappropriate calls offering rides. Upon entering his vehicle, the strong smell of marijuana was present. I insist on resolving this promptly or will involve legal action. I have already submitted relevant reports. Contact me at [redacted]. I am requesting $[redacted] in ride credits or a monetary reimbursement. Please respond promptly. My mailing address is P.O. Box [redacted] Ridge Road, Hopkins, S.C. [redacted]. Thank you, and I wish you a belated Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

I came across the driver requirements for Lyft, which mention no reckless driving. I would like to address this because I received a ticket for that in [redacted] before joining the Marine Corps. For the past 8 years, I have been driving 18-wheelers professionally, and I am known as one of the most professional drivers on the road. This citation is almost 20 years old, from before Lyft was established. I am eager to drive for Lyft and wonder if they have any discretionary considerations for cases like mine.

I reached out to Lyft for a ride from my place to the nearby airport. Initially, my credit card showed a temporary hold of $26.00. Later, I discovered that I was charged over $36.00 for a trip that lasted around 15-18 minutes. Strangely, the driver failed to end the trip promptly, resulting in it being logged as over 41 minutes. When I asked for a fare adjustment, I was only credited $7.86, which seems unjust considering the circumstances. Additionally, the driver's behavior was quite impolite, making the overall experience rather disappointing.

Hello, my name is Johana Bultron, and my phone number is [redacted]. My account was deactivated without any valid reason. I rely on this service to transport my newborn, and I have not violated any policies. I respect all drivers and always wear my mask. I am unsure why this happened and believe there has been a mistake. Thank you.

I purchased a $25 Lyft gift card from Walmart. When I tried to redeem it with the card number and pin, I encountered an error multiple times despite following the steps carefully. I went back to Walmart for a refund, but unfortunately, they couldn't assist me. I'm unsure how to proceed or contact Lyft for assistance since I can't find a contact number. Any help would be appreciated.

I am seeking assistance in reactivating my account, as I am unsure why it was deactivated. Despite not violating any policies and having a valid license, I am unable to access my account. I use two phones interchangeably to address GPS issues when one runs low on battery. My Lyft phone number is [redacted], but I initially applied with a different number, [redacted]. Modifications were made to my account details to receive money from my daughter, who was experiencing debit card problems. I urgently need my account reactivated as I rely on driving full time now that the holidays have concluded. Kindly guide me on the steps to resolve this situation promptly.

I am Vivian Compres. I was charged $[redacted] for a ride from Tribeca, NYC, to Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. I checked my PayPal account, and it shows the refund is being processed. I have financial commitments and am currently overdrawn in my bank account. I am incurring additional charges due to this error. I urgently require my refund. If I do not receive it today, I will seek legal advice. Waiting 5 to 7 days for MY MONEY is unacceptable. Holding onto my funds is not permissible. I intend to pursue legal action to recover all expenses. Please contact me promptly.

Hello, I'm June Kazuko Taylor. Unfortunately, I accidentally purchased a Lyft ride for $25 while trying to explore the Lyft app. I didn't set a specific time for pick-up or drop-off and now realize I don't need the service. I kindly request a refund of the $25 charged to my card. I wasn't aware that I was making a real purchase at that moment. I'm not upset; I simply need assistance in reversing the charges from the Lyft app. Please contact me at [redacted]. My email associated with the LYFT account is [redacted] I'm not sure how to process the refund on the app as it was unintentional. I appreciate your help in reimbursing me and look forward to using Lyft when needed in the future. Thank you. Best, June Kazuko Taylor

Today at 11:20 am, a Lyft car arrived at [redacted] Elmwood Avenue, Buffalo NY. Unfortunately, the car was messy and reeked of cigarette smoke, which was very unpleasant. The driver seemed slow despite me mentioning I was in a bit of a hurry. In response, she abruptly asked me to get out of the car. I found her behavior shocking and quite concerning, especially for other passengers, particularly women traveling alone. This driver's actions made me feel uneasy. I promptly reached out to Lyft for a new driver, who arrived promptly and delivered excellent service. As a precaution, I managed to take a photo of the back of the car and the license plate.

Good morning, I would like to clarify an incident involving a passenger who, out of maliciousness and whim (maybe I rubbed him the wrong way), caused me to have my account suspended (a first abnormal case in my entire career as a driver). There was absolutely and definitely no reason for it to happen (to the extent that I thanked and blessed him when he got off) on my part. Thank you, I am eagerly waiting for your guidance and a fair sense of justice from your management. Have a nice day.
