I have been using Lyft for the last few months, and my rides have consistently been $6.99 to and from my destination. However, over the past few times, it shows $6.99, but when the ride is completed, the price goes up by $3 or more. I am troubled by this inconsistency as I have paid the same $6.99 for the last three months. I have attempted to contact them via email three times regarding three different overcharged rides, but I have not received any response. If this issue is not addressed, I am considering reaching out to the BBB for further investigation. It is concerning that there is no telephone communication available, which may be intentional to avoid an influx of complaints from others facing similar problems. As a senior citizen on a limited income, every dollar matters to me, and it is essential for the price shown on the app to reflect what I am expected to pay, as it has done for my previous round trips.

I was recently charged for damage by a Lyft driver, but I strongly believe the accusation is false. After our ride, a photo was taken of alleged mess in the car, which none of my passengers or I were responsible for. We all had been to dinner and a drink, but we were not inebriated, and we did not have any drinks, food, or trash with us in the vehicle. Even though I contacted Lyft, they mentioned they couldn't assist as the driver provided a picture. This situation seems like a setup due to the driver's dissatisfaction over the long drive. I am willing to cooperate to clear my name, including offering to take a lie detector test along with my companions. I am struggling to reach anyone at Lyft for further assistance. Can someone please advise or guide me on how to resolve this issue?

I would like to know how I can ensure that a driver accepts my husband's ride to work at precisely 7 a.m. today. Additionally, I am wondering why the payment has not appeared in my bank account. I am finding this situation confusing and need prompt assistance. The ride is already scheduled, but I mistakenly canceled the initial one. I am in urgent need of help as my husband cannot miss work, as it may result in job loss. I would appreciate the option to edit the ride on the calendar instead of having to cancel it completely. Although I rescheduled the ride, I did not receive any notification from Lyft regarding the payment in my bank account. Your quick response is highly valued. Thank you.

I contacted a Lyft driver at 3:07 a.m. on October 22nd, and at 3:22 a.m., I received a notification that the driver had arrived. After advising them on how to find my apartment due to multiple buildings with the same number, the driver got upset when they couldn't locate my specific building. Despite my directions, the driver claimed to be at [redacted] South instead of [redacted] where I was. When I asked the driver to circle the entire building to correct the mistake, they abruptly hung up on me twice during the explanation. Subsequently, they left, resulting in me being charged a cancellation fee in addition to the previous fare. I had to request another ride and the second driver successfully found my apartment using the same instructions. I acknowledge the driver's frustration in not finding the location, but their unprofessional behavior of hanging up twice was unacceptable. I am seeking a full refund for this inconvenience. I arranged a Lyft for my co-worker who had run out of gas at our work parking lot in the early hours of October 16. The ride was meant to be less than 2.5 miles, a round trip to the nearby Circle K gas station. Despite this, I noticed a $43 charge on my card, not in line with the expected cost for such a short trip. Upon checking the route on the app, I discovered the driver took my co-worker to a Circle K 1.5 miles further than the one I had specified, in the opposite direction. The driver even falsely claimed it was closer. This unauthorized route choice led to a higher fare. I am dissatisfied with the overcharge on my card, and I request a resolution for this driver's disregard of the intended destination.

The fares increased significantly due to high demand, causing a long wait for our ride. Despite the app indicating the driver's arrival, locating him proved challenging. Before I could contact him, the driver canceled, leading us to request a new driver who we are still waiting for. Balancing medical appointments with an injury has now become challenging with the time lost. Surge pricing should at least ensure accurate driver location. Experiencing intense pain and frustration, I request a refund or credit for the extended wait in discomfort. Paying over $13 for a short trip after a 30-minute wait is unreasonable, and I seek compensation.

I intended to go to [redacted] 1st Avenue. When I confirmed the ride, that's the destination I selected. I entered the cab promptly, and the vehicle was clean. After realizing we were going the wrong way, I asked the driver, Ramon, about our destination street. He simply said First Avenue. Despite my location being on 91st Street and First Avenue, the GPS indicated exiting the highway at 23rd Street. I sensed an issue but Ramon continued towards Alphabet City. I reentered the address on my phone, and the driver mentioned he didn't understand English well, leading to the confusion. I became distressed and called my boyfriend, as the delay caused me to miss my Covid Vaccine appointment. What is typically a $23 ride ended up costing around $[redacted] due to Lyft's error. The driver, possibly assuming I would file a complaint, rated me poorly preemptively. I seek refunds for both rides and wish to speak with a Lyft representative promptly.

I am calling to address a recent unpleasant experience with a Lyft driver this morning. The driver's behavior was unacceptable shortly after the ride began, leaving me feeling uncomfortable. I loaded $50 on my LyftCash for rides to easily track my spending, but when I tried to use it for a ride to work the next day, it asked for a different card. I already added both my bank and work cards to my Lyft account, so I'm confused. I attempted three different cards, but none worked. I'm frustrated because I have LyftCash available. I reached out to support, but received no assistance. I feel like Lyft scammed me out of my money. Can someone please assist me?

I arrived at Las Vegas airport on 10/24 and being unfamiliar with the area, I intended to use Uber to get to the MGM Grand. A driver approached me before I could request a ride on the app and offered to take us. Despite my hesitation and the driver's Lyft sticker, my friend convinced me to accept the ride. The driver, claiming both companies were the same, charged us $45 upon arrival. Feeling scammed as the cost was higher than expected, I confronted the driver and took photos of his details: License plate Nevada 084S32 and a windshield sign that read TNC [redacted] #[redacted]. These experiences make me wary of Lyft and I hope this feedback helps improve service and prevent similar incidents for other riders.

I was wrongfully charged $5.00 for a no-show. I was clearly outside my building at [redacted] Staten Avenue with our doorman, and the blue Prius driver did not arrive. I am certain the driver never entered the block between Grand Avenue and Bellevue. Our doorman even checked the surrounding streets with no success. I am willing to take a lie detector test, as will our doorman.

Dear Lyft, I wanted to bring to your attention a limitation I've encountered when trying to tip your drivers through the app. My company has a policy that allows a maximum tip of 15% for rideshare services. However, your app only allows for inputting exact dollar amounts, which often causes me to round down and not meet the maximum tip amount permitted. I kindly request that you consider adding a feature that allows users to input custom tip amounts in dollars and cents to align with different tipping policies. It is important to me to show appreciation for the hard work your drivers put in, and I believe this change would greatly benefit both drivers and passengers. I traveled with Mark in a Honda Civic on Sunday, October 31st from Rite Aid at [redacted] East Vista Way to [redacted] Arcadia Avenue in Vista, CA [redacted]. Upon arriving, I discovered I left my phone in the car. Unfortunately, as I have no phone to contact the driver directly, I'm unsure if he will assist me in returning it. I need to report an issue with a Lyft driver today. I was at Tobin Fiat in Henderson, and the driver's name is Sir. The location has 2 buildings and 3 businesses with the same address number, [redacted] A, North Gibson Road, Henderson, NV [redacted]. The driver was parked at Kia, the first of the 2 buildings among 3 auto dealerships. I found a lot boy at Tobin / Alfaro Romero who showed me a blue Kia Forte parked at the Kia business parking area. When I asked the driver his name and if he knew his pickup location, he seemed confused and took offense when I tried to explain he should have been at the building I just walked from. He insisted he was at the correct location, despite not recognizing the business matching the address he was at. Despite my attempts to clarify, he was rude and disrespectful. His plates were 656ZKF.

I used my Chime account and online banking to pay for a $6.99 Lyft ride, which was approved but not charged. I later bought a $40 gift card but Lyft refused to use it to pay the outstanding $6.99. After adding a debit card and paying, my account was disabled without explanation. Email support promised to get in touch but permanently disabled my account without reason. They mentioned purchased gift cards are non-refundable when I inquired about my $40 balance. How can Lyft disable my account without explanation, keep my money, and refuse to refund my gift card balance?

I recently tried to reach out to Lyft's customer service through their chat window and was redirected to a site that requested my debit card information for a $1 charge before assisting me with resolving fraudulent charges on my checking account. I am extremely frustrated as Lyft has taken over $[redacted] from me and I am unable to speak with a real person to address this issue. Despite reaching out via email, I only received a generic response and was asked to provide my credit card and banking details again to proceed with getting help. I recently changed my phone number due to my phone breaking, and although I got it fixed and tried to change it back, I've been struggling to access my Lyft account. Despite exchanging emails for the past two days, I haven't been able to resolve the issue, and now Lyft has stopped responding to my emails altogether.
