The issue in GetHuman5304053's own words
I have two charges made on ********** from Lyft in the amount of $** each for a total of $***.**. I have sent emails and contacted Lyft through messaging about these charges being made in error. It says they went into Lyft Cash Balance Account but I never requested this nor would I authorize those charges. When I have requested rides with Lyft my card on file has been authorized for the amount of the ride in advance. I then wait for the driver who then does not arrive and I am told that there are no drivers available and that they are working on getting more drivers. I am told to try back later. When I try again the same thing happens and my card is charged again for a ride that does not complete! So on top of the $*** they withdrew from my account and put into some Lyft Balance account my account was charged for multiple rides that were cancelled by Lyft after charging my card.
