I ordered a ride to work with Lyft. A driver accepted the ride but was about ** min away. I put down my phone and went to get stuff by the door to take with me to work. * min later i picked up my phone to see how far away the driver was. She had sent a text messege saying "would you mind if i was * min late?" Mind you * min had passed before i saw that messege. I texted her a messege back say yes i mind because her being late would make me late for work. I looked on the map and took a screen shot of it because the driver still had not moved from where she was when she accepted the ride! It was now ** min later. I asked her if she could not make the trip to cancel so i could get another driver who could get me to work. She canceled the ride without another word. I did get another driver but i was late for work because of the original driver who didnt show up. I can not report this in the apo because reporting bad customer service for a driver that didnt give you a ride is not an option. This woman made me late for work and that cost me money. Being late for work is of course a problem for anyone with the boss so she also caused me to have to expkain MY tardiness and yes irs counted against ME no matter who caused it. *Kathy**** *** ****
