Hello I Have been a loyal LYFT user for * years . On Thur May ** I was in Reno NV with my Wife & her ** year old Parents (my wife was graduating with a Doctrate degree) We called for a Lyft Driver to drive us *-* miles form our the Lawler Events ( the site of the Graduation ) back to our hotel. Because my wife's parents are elderly and handicapped they could not walk very far , in fact we had to have wheel chair assistance to get them in & out of the Events Center. We had a very positive experience with the Lyft Driver (Christian going to the Events Center) The *nd ride back to the hotel was a nightmare. *I order a Lyft & I texted the driver the exact Location where we were waiting (The Lawler Events Center had a Special Drop off Spot for Handicapped riders it was * driveway past **th St. you had to turn right then pull into the parking Structure*we waited and we got a message from Lyft that the driver Hesham has a hearing problem & and that he may be driving & can't text back it assid try calling him. He called us after he got my text instructions about the pick up, location He said he was at **th st Red light & that the Traffic was very bad He asked us to waly down to **th at (He was only about *** ft from us around the corner ) I explained to him about my wife's Mom parents again ( that they are *elderly and can't walk) he hung up and shortly after I git a count down clock on my Lyft APP saying that the driver was leaving when the *countdown clock expires..It was about ** degrees and the windy , we stood there Freezing and felt abandoned by the Lyft Driver. Then to add insult to injury I got a notification that I was being Charged a $*.** Cancellation Fee. we ordered a cab , which took another ** mins (we were outside freezing) I want a refund of the $*.** I was Charged & I want that driver to be alerted that his Customer Service did not represent your company in a positive way .
