Good morning, my name is Carlos Tabon and I am a very dissatisfied customer. I take Lyft almost everyday to work, and never have had an issue. This morning I requested a ride as usual, and the system said it would be ** minutes. I waited for them to arrive and when it said they would be here in * minutes i went outside. I stood outside in the rain and waited for them to come to my location and they never did. As the clock started to countdown the departure time for the driver i tried calling them because it was saying they were about to leave but at this point, I was standing outside in the cold and rain for minutes now. When i called the number that was listed for the driver, he did not answer. About a minute later, he called back and said he was at the gate and was i going to walk to the gate or buzz him in. I told him i would buzz him in and i told him the code. I stood out there another couple of minutes WAITING for him to come and he never did. Soon, i heard the noise on the app and looked and saw that he had canceled my ride. I have so many issues with this because for starters why was the countdown started saying the driver was at my location when he in fact Was not. Secondly, i literally stood outside waiting following what the system said and still was not able to get a ride so i called another driver and that was another ** minutes for them to get here which made me late for work. This is ridiculous and unprofessional and the fact that this company thinks that it’s ok to take my money for a ride that i never received is ludicrous. If someone could please follow up with me on this issue i would greatly appreciate it.
