I recently booked my first Lyft ride but struggled to find a way to specify a particular time. I contacted the driver multiple times, explaining that I needed the ride at 1pm and that I was currently on crutches. Unfortunately, the driver was unresponsive and unpleasant when I tried to communicate my needs. Despite waiting diligently and eventually getting in touch at 1:05pm, the driver claimed to have driven by, canceled the ride, and couldn't check messages. I empathize with his situation but feel he could have spared a moment to assist. My disappointment escalated when I was charged the full fare along with a $5 cancellation fee. This experience was disheartening, especially considering my broken foot and anticipated future needs for this service. I hope for a refund as this seems unfair and unjust.

Hello, my name is Anthony. Last night, March 5, [redacted], I booked a Lyft ride for two people from Blackwood, NJ, to 30th Street Station in Philadelphia, PA, around 10:30 pm. However, I noticed that the ride was taking much longer than anticipated, with the estimated time on the app increasing to nearly 2 hours for a 20-minute trip. I tried to contact the driver, Taleah, multiple times before finally reaching them. The driver explained that the passengers had paid in cash for a longer trip, which caused the delay. I was charged $35+ for their extended ride and attempted to cancel the payment, but was unsuccessful. I am uncertain if the driver informed Lyft about the cash payment or if they intend to receive payment from both me and the passengers. I have encountered difficulties with using Lyft recently. When I attempt to input my location and destination, the screen at the bottom whites out and does not proceed after I press "done". This issue started in Lauderdale by the Sea, Florida, and persisted when I returned home to Philadelphia. During a ride from the airport, the driver had to redo the route after multiple phone calls. Just yesterday, I faced the same problem with the screen turning white and not progressing despite pressing "done". This has made it challenging to book rides efficiently.

I had a scheduled pickup on March 7th for a doctor's appointment in Gastonia, NC. The driver arrived and despite some initial confusion, we headed towards my appointment. However, during the ride, the driver exhibited reckless behavior such as speeding and making inappropriate and offensive remarks towards me. He insulted me, made derogatory comments about my appearance and lifestyle, and was disrespectful in various ways. Despite my protests, he continued his unacceptable behavior until I insisted he take me home, even going as far as implying he would not comply. The experience was distressing and unacceptable. I urge the service provider to take appropriate action to ensure that other patients do not have to endure such treatment. His behavior towards me was uncalled for and deeply upsetting.

Hello, I would like to request a refund for the ride I had last night. Unfortunately, the driver never arrived despite claiming to have picked me up and dropped me off. I waited for over 20 minutes, but neither the driver nor their car came to pick me up. Despite that, the driver marked me as picked up in the app at 8:17 pm. I am requesting an immediate refund to my Visa ending in [redacted]. These incidents of drivers not showing up or overcharging need to be addressed by Lyft. I want to register a complaint: We received this receipt for a credit card charge that is an ERROR! We paid Liliana in cash yesterday - $20, which included a $6.01 tip. Please clear this up for us. This was the first time we've used LYFT, and we did NOT know the bill was being charged to our credit card. We are very disappointed that she tried to charge us on our credit card as well as get paid in cash. Thank you. I have a situation with Lyft regarding their drivers continually parking in my driveway to pick up my neighbors. Despite my numerous complaints, there hasn't been a lasting solution. The drivers seem to have difficulty locating the correct address and often block my driveway instead. It's frustrating to deal with their lack of consideration and sense of entitlement. I have expressed my concerns to Lyft, but their response was minimal and not satisfactory. I believe it's essential for Lyft to educate their drivers about not blocking private driveways and to respect property boundaries. I would appreciate it if Lyft could address this issue promptly to avoid any further inconvenience.

Hello, I recently joined as a driver. During my first ride, I accepted the request but got confused about the next steps. I went to the location but didn't have the exact address as it didn't show up. The rider had to call and provide me their location. I completed the ride and they promised a bigger tip. After that, I tried to go offline to meet a friend, but I couldn't close the app. It keeps saying "finish your ride before going offline." I'm unsure how to reset it so I can start giving rides again. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

While departing O'Hare, a driver nearly sideswiped us without signaling, driving recklessly as if they were a taxi. They failed to merge safely into our lane due to our presence, then proceeded to pass us, honked, and made a vulgar gesture. The driver appeared to have passengers in the back seat. I urge Lyft to instruct drivers to obey traffic laws and show respect to others. The incident occurred on March 10th around 5:45pm CST. Tonight, on 10/03/19, I arrived at MIA airport and booked a Lyft share. The estimated arrival time of the driver was 6 minutes; however, after waiting for 8 minutes, a new driver was assigned, adding another 12-minute wait. Upon pick up, we waited an additional 7-8 minutes for another late passenger. The driver then deviated from the route to drop off a passenger nowhere near our destination. Instead of a 30-minute drive to South Beach, I ended up spending 1.5 hours in the car, finally arriving at my hotel at 10:17 PM after initially contacting the first Lyft driver at 9 PM. This experience has left me dissatisfied and convinced that I will not be using Lyft again nor recommending it to my friends.

I would like to report an issue with a Lyft driver. During my recent ride, the driver – Mr. Wesley – created a problem by not clearing the ride from my account after dropping me off. The app still shows him waiting at my home for 35 minutes, even though he left me 10 minutes away from there and took 25 minutes to get me home. After realizing he couldn't take me to my next destination on time, I asked if he could make it by 12:29, to which he rudely responded negatively and drove off without clearing my fare. I tried calling him, but he didn't answer. This unprofessional behavior occurred at noon, and it is now 12:30 pm. I believe his attitude towards customers is unacceptable, and he should not be driving for the public, as he seems unwilling to provide proper service.

I received a complaint which led to my account being deactivated due to an incident where I allegedly ran a red light and almost hit a pedestrian. I picked up four ladies near the corner of [redacted] South and Main Street at 12:30 near the bar. While driving on Main Street towards [redacted] South, I had to make a right turn. Although the light was red, I ensured no cars were approaching before turning. Later, on [redacted] South heading east, I needed to make a left turn on West Temple. While turning left, I noticed a pedestrian crossing the street, so I slowed down and waited for them to pass safely. Despite running the red light during the earlier right turn when the street was clear, I did not see the pedestrian at that moment to avoid a potential collision. This incident occurred in Salt Lake City.

A driver cut me off, blocked me in, got out of the car, threatened my life, threatened to kill me, then spit on the windows of my car while blocking me in. I have pictures of the whole incident, including his car and his face. He made a racial slur, saying I was too white to be in this neighborhood, and then pulled a gun, telling me to leave before it gets worse. His license plate number is [redacted], on a black Honda Accord in Mount Vernon. I had three people in the car who were scared for their lives and safety. This driver should not be working for Lyft; he is mean, disrespectful, non-personable, rude, and unprofessional. His behavior is concerning, and he should not be representing your company.

I arranged for a car to take me from San Francisco Airport to San Ramos Marriott at 10:45. The ride was confirmed, but the estimated arrival time of the driver kept changing and eventually disappeared. I tried again with another car, but a similar situation occurred. I managed to speak to the second driver briefly, but then he also disappeared, not responding to my calls and voicemail. Frustrated, I requested an Uber, and they promptly picked me up. My experience with Lyft was disappointing, and I have decided not to use their service again. I will be sharing my negative experience with my family, friends, and others. My ride was initially estimated at $18.75, but the final payment request from the driver was $67.27. Despite my attempts to alert the driver that we were going in circles by recognizing the same stores repeatedly, they denied it. After pointing out landmarks, they suggested going in the wrong direction on the F.D.R. highway. Frustrated after circling 7th Ave multiple times, I demanded to be let out at a nearby subway, but the driver ignored my requests.
