I scheduled a Lyft pickup in advance for Monday, Sept ** at *:** am. I received reminders and text messages on that morning. The *nd text message said the driver was ** minutes away which would put him out of the time allotted for pick up. I looked at the route and couldn't figure out where the driver was going. I contacted the driver, Jose, by phone. He told me he was *at Tenlytown Circle and had another passenger to drop off at the Willard BEFORE he could pick me up. He said he had just gotten the call to pick me up and there was nothing he could do. As a result I had to cancel the pick up. We had to drive to the airport barely making our plane. We had no choice but to park in Economy parking & will be forced to pay $*** for parking for the time we will be away because we could not go by Lyft as originally planned. This is unacceptable. I would like to be given a credit to be used on future Lyft trips for the $ I m loosing because LYFT did NOT perform as promised. Thank you*Dona Lenkin ***.***.****
