I have $60 in Lyft gift card credit that I purchased to use for transportation, primarily to get to work. Despite adding multiple payment methods, I keep getting an error message saying they are invalid. The card with the most funds available is not being accepted. I even tried using my mom's card from a previous account, but I can't receive a confirmation number as it's linked to my old phone. I've verified my identity and cards several times but keep encountering the same issue when requesting a ride. It's crucial for me to fix this problem promptly as I rely on Lyft for work. If the issue persists, I would like a full refund of my $60 so I can find an alternative way to commute.

I'm interested in the new driver program that guarantees earning $[redacted] in the first 30 days for driving in SF. I noticed it's limited to the first [redacted] sign-ups. Can you confirm how many people have signed up so far? If I join, can I secure this program? My current vehicle, a [redacted] HMM, is not economical and needs repairs. I have a clean driving record over the past 10 years with no tickets or accidents, and I have never had a DUI. I'm available to start driving on Wednesday, September 26, [redacted]. If I sign up, will I receive this offer in writing? Moving to another location for this opportunity is not an issue for me.

I have sent four emails and have received no help from LYFT customer service. I am extremely disappointed that my friend purchased two LYFT gifts, but I only received one. I am frustrated that I had to walk 2 miles in [redacted]-degree heat in Vegas after my Oncologist appointment due to issues with the LYFT app not accepting my credits. Despite trying to contact support, I have not received any assistance. I feel let down that my experience with LYFT has been so poor, especially in comparison to UBER. Hello, My name is Gary He. I recently traveled from the East Coast back to Sacramento in a Lyft. Unfortunately, my driver, Jesus, who was driving a Honda Civic with a license plate ending in [redacted] (or [redacted]), asked me to leave the car simply because I mentioned he was running late. This incident occurred at Sacramento International Airport, Terminal A, around 5:40 pm. Despite him being approximately 10 minutes behind the app's estimated arrival time, I felt unfairly treated as a first-time Lyft user. I have reported this issue to Lyft customer service and company management.

Hello, my name is Christine Y. I connected with a Lyft ambassador who assisted me in signing up to become a Lyft driver. I relied on his guidance throughout the process as I have been contemplating driving for Lyft recently. I came across a Lyft promotion offering $[redacted] upon completing the first [redacted] rides, but when I inquired, the ambassador mentioned it doesn't exist and informed me about a $[redacted] reward for the first 40 rides instead. Even after signing up, I remain uncertain about the promotion I saw on Facebook and Instagram. I am curious if the Lyft ambassador receives that promotion on my behalf. If this is the case, I would like to withdraw my application before commencing driving for Lyft. I am also interested in learning about the compensation he receives for each new driver he recruits and if he receives any commissions for new drivers he brings in, as I can apply directly without involving him. My second ride with Lyft last night was extremely disappointing. Despite an ETA of 13 minutes at 10:04 when I called, the driver arrived much later at around 10:30 or 10:35. Waiting outside in the dark made me feel unsafe, especially since I could not go back inside the house I was in. Furthermore, the driver seemed lost and had trouble finding me, asking for directions to [redacted] Arch St, which I couldn't provide as I was not familiar with the area. It took almost an hour to locate me, and even then, the driver had difficulty finding the destination of the other passengers in the car. Despite these issues, I must acknowledge Janika, the driver, who was patient and tried her best despite it being her first night. The overall experience did not meet the reliability, quickness, and assurance I expected from Lyft, and I am seeking a refund of $29.04 for the inconvenience. Thank you, Andrea.

On September 23, [redacted], I booked a Lyft ride with Jessica driving a Red Toyota Prius. Arriving at the pick-up point, I called her to guide her since the GPS was incorrect. Jessica was unhelpful, mentioning she was driving with another passenger and couldn't pick me up. Despite giving her directions, she rudely declined to follow them. I have her phone number +[redacted]6 and record of our conversation. I hope not to be charged, and if so, I expect a refund for the unfulfilled ride. It was unfortunate she refused to pick me up despite my efforts to assist her in finding the correct location.

After the Miami Dolphins game on September 23, [redacted], my husband and I called a Lyft. I understand it was a busy time with crazy traffic. However, we waited for an hour and a half with no sign of the driver. When she finally called, she wanted us to walk to a Dunkin Donuts 45 minutes away. Reluctantly, we started walking, and she changed her mind, asking us to go to a gas station. Frustrated, I cancelled the ride, but the Lyft company still charged us. About ten minutes later, the driver picked us up. Although we didn't select a shared ride, she went to Walmart and picked up three other passengers. With little room in the car, I had to sit on my husband's lap during the 30-minute drive. Her driving was reckless with wrong turns, passing law enforcement, and uncomfortable seating. I would like a refund as we did not intend to share the ride.

I have been a loyal Lyft user in LA for over a year. Recently, I've experienced multiple issues with drivers being late or going in the wrong direction, resulting in extra charges for mileage. On one occasion, the driver got lost due to an incorrect address in their GPS. These mishaps caused me to pay more than I was initially quoted for my rides. It seems many drivers are unfamiliar with the area and struggle to correct the address when it's wrong in their system. Despite expecting major discounts on my rides, I ended up paying more than usual. This recurring problem needs addressing as it's affecting my overall experience with Lyft. I have encountered these issues on at least 5 or 6 different rides and would appreciate someone looking into this matter promptly.

My bank alerted me of a hack on my account with you on 9/23/[redacted]. I typically use this account for Lyft rides. On Sept 15, [redacted], I used it twice. Firstly, I rode with Alisha at 4:21 PM for $6.15, then later with Brandy at 6:12 PM, totaling $6.55 with a $2.00 tip. The account used was Visa ending in [redacted]. My son also encountered a similar issue with his account. Unfortunately, I can't use your services until this matter is resolved. My bank is currently assisting me. Have there been any other incidents like this at your company? I appreciate your assistance as I rely on your rides to transport myself and three young children under 12. I recently had a Lyft driver who did not have access to Fort Bragg where I work. My bank statement shows that I was charged for the ride, and I still see the pending charge. As a result, I was late for work and had to request another driver. The second driver took too long to reach me, so I ended up not taking that ride and still got charged for it. I'm frustrated because I am being charged for two rides I did not take, and also a cancellation fee. If my initial driver had the proper access, this situation could have been avoided. Additionally, their children were in the car, making the experience more stressful.

I need assistance in retrieving my cell phone. While using a Lyft service today, a driver, potentially from Afghanistan, picked me up at 3:10 PM from [redacted] Rosewood Hill Drive, Vienna, VA [redacted], and dropped me off at the Growth and Recovery Center in Fairfax, VA before my 4 PM appointment. I had given him my cellphone to charge during the ride as the battery was low. The driver, who may have had a green or grey car, possibly a Prius, had my Apple 8 Plus in a pink protective case. When I realized I left my phone, I tried calling it, and he mentioned he would return it at the end of his shift. However, I still haven't received my phone back. I called my phone when I got home, but he, whose name possibly starts with a B, hasn't answered. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, MFDUNN.

I used Lyft recently and paid with my debit card. The driver asked to see my card at both pickup and drop-off. The trips were from [redacted] Sir Barton Rd to U of L Pediatrics on Stonestreet Rd. Initially, I was charged $7.59, then $9.50 after adding a tip. Surprisingly, the next weekend, I was billed $26.00 twice without authorizing these rides, suspecting my missing card was used. I believe my daughter, only 13 years old, might have taken a Lyft to the movies on Preston Hwy without permission. I need details on the charges from Sept 12 or 13 to verify the transactions. Hello, Iā€™m Monika Mittal from Oak Crest, Iowa City, Iowa. This morning I booked a cab because I was running late for work. The cab was supposed to arrive in 6-7 minutes, but it took 18 minutes. After calling the driver, he arrived, but I found his behavior odd as he only started driving when I called him, otherwise he was not moving. Upon arrival, he did not apologize for being late. When I asked why it took so long, he said he was stopped by a cop. I questioned if it was a coincidence that he started driving when I called, and he suddenly became aggressive, asking me to get out of his car and canceling my trip. He then humiliated me and raised his voice. Feeling embarrassed, I decided to walk, but he pulled over and continued to be disrespectful. This situation unfolded in the middle of the road, leaving me confused by his behavior. I intend to file a complaint. Thank you, Monika Mittal.

I had a scheduled Lyft pickup for Monday, Sept 24 at 7:30 am. Despite receiving reminders and messages, the driver was 13 minutes away, which was beyond the pickup time. After contacting the driver, Jose, he informed me he had another passenger to drop off before picking me up, causing me to cancel the ride. This resulted in having to drive to the airport, incurring $[redacted] in parking fees as we could not use Lyft as planned. I scheduled a ride this morning, and initially, a driver was 15 minutes away, which was fine. Then, I received a message stating a different driver closer by would be picking me up, without providing any details about the driver or the car. As I waited on my front porch, a red car drove by slowly but didn't stop. When I went to the sidewalk, I saw the car stop at the end of the street. After some confusion, the driver called asking for my location. Despite my explanation that I was waiting on the sidewalk at [redacted] Marmaduke where he hadn't stopped, he refused to return, cursing and stating he doesn't wait for people. I expressed my frustration, and he rudely ended the call. This experience was disappointing, and I had to make alternative arrangements, arrived late to my meeting, and endured unprofessional behavior from the driver. I hope your drivers can be trained on customer service and company policy regarding passenger pick-ups. The fare was canceled, and I hope not to be charged for this unpleasant encounter.

As a Lyft driver, I recently faced suspension due to my Ohio license being reported as expired, even though I had surrendered it when obtaining my North Carolina driver's license. Unfortunately, I was suspended without a means to reach Lyft to resolve this issue. The third-party investigators that looked into this situation did not verify the information correctly. I was unaware of the problem until I lost access to my Lyft account while seeking shelter during Hurricane Florence. I frequently use Lyft and have had positive experiences with the service. However, yesterday I had an issue where a driver marked as arrived but was not at my location when I called for a ride. Despite reaching out to the driver multiple times, he left without picking me up. Fortunately, the second Lyft driver I requested arrived promptly, which I greatly appreciated, especially in the pouring rain. I kindly request a credit for the missed pickup as I am on a fixed income and rely on Lyft for transportation. I reported this incident yesterday but have not received a response. Hello, my name is Saundra Jones. My daughter drives for Lyft, and I allowed her to use my credit card once. However, Lyft keeps charging it without our consent. I have changed my card twice, yet Lyft still manages to access it. I contacted Mastercard, and they mentioned that Lyft has a contract allowing them to use my new card number.
