The issue in GetHuman-unclbar's own words
We like Lyft. However, Lyft has a problem with its mapping GPS. Once again today we called standing in front of an address that we entered, and the Lyft driver was half a block away on the other side of the street. This has happened about half a dozen times--maybe *** of the times we've tried to get a Lyft ride. The driver just didn't know where we were. Earlier today another driver just drove away, failing to answer his*her phone, because he*she was too far away.*While I'm on the topic, the route directions in SF are screwy in two ways. First, though there is a light-protected way to make a left turn onto a busy street, the maps function tells the driver to go one block further (like to (Palm) and then try to make a left onto a busy street (like Geary) without a light to protect him*her*me. And many times it routes the car left right left right left right, etc. when there is a clear and viable straight shot (like California Street). Look, as I said, we like you guys. But you've got problems with nav.*ps. I hope we don't get a "no show" charge for the guy who drove away.
