I was deactivated because an erroneous allegation of me drinking to pick up this guy. This is the second time I was reported. I dont drink and would not drive drunk. Worked for rideshare * years. I cannot even find the way bill of the person who reported me because I never even picked him up. He left his pickup point and wanted me to find him. He asked me if I was drunk, I said no and he hung up on me. * minutes later, I was deactivated, which was final!*I know Lyft wants to help drivers too, but who do we turn to when allegations like these come up. We are out of our livelihood just because some people know how to deactivate drivers. I have driven for * decades and never, ever received a sobriety test. I work notes till * am sometimes and i do encounter people whose actions and attitudes are compromised. I'm friendly and contrary to what is reported, i am pretty safe. So why is the activation so quick. Shouldn't we have some proof that we r not like taking a sobriety test at the nearest police department? It would be up to us drivers if we want to be deactivated or not. All I am saying is give some drivers the benefit of the doubt since we are just helping others out and making a little bit of money at the same time.
