I was riding a Lyft in NYC earlier today when the Lyft driver said “oh, I accidentally cancelled your rides” (referring to myself and the person who I was sharing a ride with) and then “I’m sorry, you have to get out”. So I was thrown out of my already-booked ride. I subsequently was forced to order a more expensive Lyft to ensure I wouldn’t arrive at my destination late due to the first driver wasting my time, and my phone almost died before I could request a new ride, which would have left me in a major predicament.**Ideally I would like this issue resolved by refunding my Lyft ride for today and ensuring in the future drivers know how to use the app so riders aren’t stranded in this way.
