I arranged a ride for my son through my account, but the driver never arrived. We canceled, tried again, and had a different driver who was rude to my son. The driver indicated he wasn't getting paid, dropped my son a considerable distance from our home, and then the ride wouldn't close on the app. We had to delete the app and create a new one under my son's name. Now, I'm unable to add myself back to the app to use it for work. This issue caused me to walk to work today, which was very frustrating. I need to resolve this problem, get a refund, and speak with someone about the negative experience. This situation with the driver was unsettling, and I've never encountered issues with Lyft before this incident.

Dear Sirs, I wanted to bring to your attention an incident that occurred on June 12, [redacted] involving a Lyft driver and my vehicle. Ashley Hewing from York Risk Services Group representing Steadfast/Zurich Insurance Companies contacted us on June 19, [redacted]. Despite being informed that our claim for reimbursement was approved, we have faced significant challenges in obtaining information from Ashley. The timeline of events is as follows: - Accident: 6/12/[redacted] - Contact from Ashley Hewing: 6/19/[redacted] - Submission of information: 6/25/[redacted] - Numerous attempts via emails and calls to obtain information - Approval of estimate received on July 17, [redacted] - Since then, no communication despite our follow-ups The lack of responses to emails and voicemails, and the unavailability of Ashley is causing frustration. We are still waiting for the repair funds and rental vehicle arrangement. The handling of this matter has been unprofessional and frustrating. I arranged for a car to pick me up at the Stamford Hospital, Old Hospital Entrance near Broad St., by the Carl Bennett Cancer/MRI Jaffe side. Although I was waiting at the Bennett Cancer Center as expected, the driver did not locate me. I called the contact number to inform them of my location, requested the appropriate entrance, and waited for them to arrive. After 10 more minutes passed without contact from the driver, I became concerned. Despite my recent back surgery and pain, the driver did not make any effort to communicate or find me. I expect not to be charged for this service as I have previously used your service without issues. Today was only my second time driving, and unfortunately, I made quite a few mistakes. I experienced about five cancellations after accepting requests. The first cancellation seemed legitimate as it happened almost immediately. However, I also faced multiple cancellations right after accepting requests. One major error was clicking "picking up passenger" too soon, which resulted in being directed to their destination prematurely. These mishaps have made me doubt my abilities, and I fear facing termination due to these errors. I decided to use Lyft over Uber due to their professionalism and the excellent app interface. Despite these challenges, my passion for driving and interacting with people persists, and I am determined to regain my confidence while utilizing the app.

I had a really disappointing experience with Lyft yesterday. I tried to book a shared ride from San Francisco to Oakland, estimated at $18. However, my first driver asked me to get out of the car because he had another commitment in 30 minutes, even though I was already in the vehicle. This was totally unacceptable. When I asked for his name, he gave me a different name than what was on the app. The second driver, Ana Claudia, arrived and then immediately canceled without any explanation. After these two frustrating encounters, I finally got to my destination on the third try, but had to take a more expensive solo ride because I was running late. This whole experience was shocking and upsetting. Safety is crucial, especially for women, and incidents like this make me question using Lyft in the future. I used to drive for Lyft and can't believe how much the service has changed. I am requesting a full refund for my last ride and hope that action is taken regarding these drivers.

Hello, my name is L.B. I had ordered a driver to pick me up, and he arrived in a black Cadillac but did not stop at the designated location. Despite my attempts to flag him down and multiple calls, he ignored me. When I approached him, he rudely claimed to have canceled the ride, which was not entirely true as he proceeded to pick up another group nearby without canceling on them. His disrespectful behavior made me feel racially profiled and to top it off, I was charged $5 for a "no-show" even though I was present. I am requesting a refund for the charge and I want to leave negative feedback for the driver due to his impolite treatment towards me.

I have updated my credit card to American Express. Thank you for sending a car for me despite the previous issue with my Visa card. Initially, I thought a car couldn't be sent due to the credit card problem and ended up taking a taxi, costing more than a Lyft ride. Molly left me stranded in a remote location after picking us up. Despite multiple calls going unanswered, she threatened to leave us on the road. When questioned, she abruptly dropped us off. This behavior is unacceptable, especially coming from a Lyft driver. I had to chase her down to get a ride. This treatment is not what I expected from Lyft, as I prefer their services over Uber. On August 17, [redacted], my driver was Genanaw, and I had a disappointing experience. I had set my pick-up location as my apartment complex to avoid confusion with the full address. However, when my driver arrived, he initially drove past me in a complete circle. I then positioned myself visibly in front of my apartment complex sign, but he parked at a nearby hotel/plaza instead and waited for me to come to him. During the ride, his driving was erratic, with sudden movements and jerking motions. Near my destination, despite my clear instructions on where to drop me off, he ignored them, making me walk the rest of the way to the restaurant. The ride was unpleasant, and it took longer than necessary.

On August 10, my cousin and I decided to go out for a night in the city, and knowing we would both be drinking, we opted to use Lyft. The driver who took us to our destination was pleasant, but the driver who collected us at the end of the night seemed irritated by our tipsy state. When my cousin started feeling unwell, she requested a stop to be sick outside. Despite feeling unwell, she was rushed by the driver to get back in the car, where she ended up being sick in a container he provided, which unfortunately had holes in it, causing a mess in the vehicle. The driver was impatient and demanded I clean up the mess once we reached my home. I was later billed a $[redacted] cleaning fee, which I disputed with my bank as unauthorized and cancelled the card. I am unhappy with the experience and the charge, leading me to avoid using Lyft in the future. I am seeking a resolution to this matter.

While riding in a Lyft, the driver was distracted by their malfunctioning phone, almost causing an accident. The driver appeared unprofessional, with a vehicle that had a bad smell and was dirty. I had to intervene to ensure safety. The driver's phone even died, causing issues with payment. If Lyft does not address this, I will consider using Uber next time. I used Lyft twice last Saturday to attend a concert at Jones Beach and it was very convenient. However, I was not charged for my first ride with Willys Bello on August 25th at 7:30pm in Freeport, Long Island. His contact number is [redacted] and email is [redacted] He mentioned he filed a report with Lyft and I would like to confirm this. My initial destination was Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater but due to parking, we had to change the drop-off location which caused the trip to be canceled. I was charged $18.63 for the ride, which was later refunded. I have evidence of the charge on my credit card. Could you assist in compensating Willys Bello $18.63 and add a $5 tip?

I opened my account in early February [redacted]. Recently, I purchased a new iPhone, but I have been unsuccessful in installing the Lyft app for the past two weeks. I have tried downloading it from the Apple store and various other websites without any luck. The lack of customer support options, such as a live chat or phone number, is frustrating. Being in a high-crime area with no means of transportation due to the app not working is concerning. If Lyft cannot resolve this issue within one business day, I am considering switching to a competitor like Uber. Hello, my name is Gina Sherman. I began driving for Lyft on Sunday, August 26, [redacted]. I received a ride request and followed the navigation, which led me to a church parking lot instead of the correct destination. After double-checking the address, I had to cancel the ride. The same issue occurred on Monday, August 27, [redacted]. The navigation directed me to a street in a different city from the actual address. Despite being in Dallas, I realized the location was supposed to be in Desoto. I contacted the customer, apologized, and asked them to reschedule the ride. My husband drives for Lyft. Recently, he received a complaint from a customer falsely accusing him of driving impaired. He has never consumed alcohol or used drugs in our 17 years together. Our livelihood depends on his work with Lyft, and it's concerning that his side of the story wasn't considered before deactivation. He is committed to safe driving and would not endanger anyone by drinking or using drugs. It would be helpful if drivers could take drug screenings to clear their names in these situations rather than being deactivated immediately. We are eager for clarity on when he can be reinstated as driving for Lyft is his primary source of income. Due to a past injury, he cannot consume alcohol or drugs, making these allegations especially distressing. We are reaching out to Lyft for resolution, but response has been slow. I am experiencing issues with my account and updating my phone number. Despite several attempts, I am unable to submit my message without a phone number, but there is no field for it. I have attached a photo of the error message. I would like to speak with someone on the phone, but cannot find that option. Additionally, I received a promo code that I cannot redeem due to my account not functioning, forcing me to use a different service. Crediting my account with the $25 promotional balance would be greatly appreciated, considering the inconvenience of not being able to use your app for months now. Thank you.

I took a shared ride, but the driver's phone was not working well. He mentioned my ride was canceled, so I checked the address on Google Maps. The map led us to a different location before his phone started working. We picked up another passenger and headed in the wrong direction initially. Despite my attempts to clarify my destination, the driver insisted on his route. Uuganbayer, my driver, stopped across the street and left after making eye contact with me while I was trying to take my toddler home from preschool. Despite calling him three times when he circled around and stopped, he didn't answer. I was charged for the cancellation even though he left me hanging. I did manage to have the fee waived, but the situation was frustrating. It would be better to have real people available for phone contact rather than just an automated service. My main goal was to get my child home peacefully after a long day, and this experience was far from ideal with Lyft this time.

I had a disappointing experience with transportation recently. First, a driver canceled my Uber ride because they couldn't find me due to the underground parking at the Bellagio hotel. Then, when I tried using Lyft, the driver kept changing their route and eventually canceled the ride. I got charged for both cancellations even though it wasn't my fault. Additionally, when my daughter reached out via email to address this incident, her account was unexpectedly blocked from deleting the ride history, but I have retained evidence of the entire situation.
