Help with my Lyft issue

The issue in GetHuman-kmbuchan's own words
Get lost phone back. ... NOT FIXED. Left galaxy s* in the back of a Lyft in Miami. First off, our driver didn’t speak a Iick of English. Second, he didn’t drop us off we literally had to get out in the middle of the road to try to make our train on time. (We just got back into the country and we’re trying to take a train to get back to West Palm) then realized my bfs phone was in backseat. He turned off the phone and simply will not anwser. Lyft basically ***** when it comes to lost stuff.
We just got back into the US. We missed our train and only have one more chance to catch another which leaves us no choice but to leave the phone behind. We even left messages saying that we would pay him to let us COME TO HIM. Thanks Lyft’s “protection policy” for their drivers, we can’t contact Juan by his own number of course. It’s only done through a “third party calling system” which ultimately, *****. Didn’t get one person to pick up and got a message that said “mailbox full”. Are you kidding me man? The least we should be able to do is contact a business number to reach these people. This company may do background checks but that is not enough. How is this suppose to be “efficient” if your customers get their lost ITEMS STOLEN by your own employees???? I by no means expected him to bring it to us, trust me. I know this was my bfs fault but we even offered to meet him ourselves and PAY HIM. This man has to know our phone is in his car and he just simply wants to sell it or keep it for himself.
I want my boyfriends phone back and I want the man who stole it held resomposible.
I’ve used Lyft for years on end ever since I found out about it.
There’s nothing else we can really do at this point. There’s always hope but I seriously doubt Juan is giving us our freaking phone back. Thanks a lot Juan. Really appareciate it bud!
