The issue in GetHuman-kalliahb's own words
Get a ride to work. ... It’s *:** in the morning, and I called a ride to go to work. The guy drives all the way to my location, pulls up beside me and asks me my age. I tell him I’m ** and I ask him to unlock the cardoor. He refuses and insists that I look too young. I reach in my bag to pull out my wallet, but before I can show him my legal ID he insists again that I’m too young and drives away. I shouldn’t be interrogated on my age. I’m offended and I’ve been using this app for a few years, I’m very unsatisfied with that drivers service. I was late for work and I’m seriously considering getting my driving services from somewhere else. I’m a paying customer, I shouldn’t be treated any less. I read Lyft’s anti-discrimination policy, apparently the driver didn’t.
The driver barely spoke English and wanted me to prove my age, but left before I could show him my ID.
That’s on lyft themselves. They should know what to do.
I use lyft almost everyday, this kind of thing is unacceptable.
