On February second, I was denied my ** percent discount because my daughter was the only one working at her current location and she legally wasn't allowed to check me out. I know that Luxxotica has a short time period where each zone gets ** percent off. My daughter and I have been planning on getting new frames for the last few months. Due to work circumstances, and the recent death of my husband things with timing haven't been the best. Saturday was the last and only day I could come in and look at frames. We had each purchases two frames from Overlake Lenscrafters. They had two of the same pair as the location store **** macys bellevue square Lenscrafters, where my daughter worked but the plan was to have her and me share that experience. Her schedule was to start at *pm, but last minute she was called to work at the core store in bellevue, which threw off timing. I waited for her to come back to work at her location for two hours while picking out and deciding what glasses to get. On short notice, her coworker had to leave, who had also been helping me as well, and when my daughter asked her well, what about ringing my mother out because I can't do that if she is family, she repeatedly reassured me that it would be fine. She would take care of it tomorrow, as long as it's in the system or ciao, there would not be any problems, and I would still receive the discount. I was hesistant and unsure, but what was I supposed to do when my daughter is the only one on the floor. I had chosen, after many hours, three frames to purchase. I had my measurements completed. You can check the cameras or in ciao. They are in there for the second around *** on February second. All ready to go. The only thing that couldn't be completed that night in order to complete the process was taking payment, which I stated before would be against policy. And neither my daughter or I would ever break policy. I was assured that the following day another associate could process my payment and there would be no problems. As a customer, I was promised a ** percent discount, and that is what expect to happen. If you could kindly email Evelyn the approval to process my glasses with that discount, I would appreciate it. I was looking forward to my new frames. My daughter really enjoys working for your company. *Thank you have a great day
