Good morning. Our group of six people purchased flights from Malta to Bremen via Frankfurt in January to join a cruise from Bremerhaven. Our Booking code is P4BV41. The departure date was supposed to be Monday, August 10, [redacted], with return flights to Malta on Thursday, August 20. Due to the pandemic, we decided to postpone the holiday. We canceled the flights online in July, intending to rebook for July [redacted]. However, we recently received a reminder for the upcoming flight next Monday, indicating that our flights were not canceled as planned. Upon trying to get a voucher, we encountered an issue with processing the request for tickets originating outside specific regions. We have since been attempting to contact Lufthansa's Service Center at Malta International Airport without success. We urgently need assistance to cancel the flights under Booking Code P4BV41 and obtain vouchers for future use. Your prompt help with this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

During my four-month stay in Israel, I had to return to the United States due to the President's request for all overseas individuals to come back because of the coronavirus. I canceled my flight RTEJO with Lufthansa and was informed by them in May that they would refund my ticket. Unfortunately, this refund has not been processed yet, despite me paying extra for a refundable ticket. I am still owed $[redacted] and would like to know the status of my refund. The change of reservation was for RTEGJO. Lufthansa Service Center: Phone: (+1) [redacted] Passenger: Mr. C. Subject: Complaint Regarding my Experience on Flight LH631 I wish to express my dissatisfaction with the treatment I received during my recent trip on flight LH631 from Dubai to Frankfurt. My name is Mr. Waseem Waseem, and my booking reference is L5XRSK. Upon attempting to check in for my flight, I was unjustly denied by the staff without any explanation. Despite my persistence in requesting a valid reason, none was provided. This conduct was unacceptable and left me stranded until the check-in closed. The staff member insinuated issues with my visa authenticity, which I refuted, challenging them to involve the authorities if necessary. Feeling discriminated against by the way I was treated, I had no choice but to take an alternate flight with Etihad Airways to Poland for my scheduled meeting. This experience was distressing, and I demand accountability and appropriate action to prevent such incidents in the future. I am also seeking a refund for my flight and associated expenses, as per EU regulation [redacted]/[redacted]. I have documented evidence of the encounter, including audio and video recordings, which highlight the disrespectful behavior I encountered. I have also sent a legal notice for further action. Please address this matter promptly. Sincerely, Waseem W.

I purchased a round trip through "OneTravel" from San Antonio, TX to Otopeni, Bucharest, Romania with Lufthansa. My booking number is #[redacted]33. The return date from Bucharest to San Antonio was scheduled for September 17, [redacted]. Upon arriving at the check-in desk, they initially claimed I was not on their list for that day, which caused confusion. Eventually, they confirmed my booking for flight #LH [redacted] from Bucharest to Frankfurt on September 17 but requested a fee of euro 58.99 for checking in my luggage (16.5 Kg). This fee was unexpected as my original purchase included one checked bag with Lufthansa. I have requested a refund of euro 58.99 for this extra charge. My name on the ticket is I.N., booking number [redacted]33.

Hello, My wife will be traveling from Copenhagen to Munich and then onward to Sao Paulo in October with Lufthansa. Her booking code is JUAWHJ. I would like to inquire about the possibility and cost of arranging assistance for her to ensure she boards the flights on time in both Copenhagen and Munich. Unfortunately, my wife only speaks Portuguese and tends to struggle when airports frequently change gate assignments. This has caused issues for us in the past, as gate changes happen quite frequently, especially in Frankfurt. It would be helpful for Lufthansa to address this recurring issue. Regards, Sven F.

My father passed away on a Lufthansa flight from Hong Kong to Europe on April 16, [redacted]. Unfortunately, I am uncertain about the exact European city where the flight landed, as he was traveling on an Irish passport. As I was young at the time, I am unsure which country filed his death certificate. I am currently in the process of obtaining Irish citizenship and require his death certificate for this purpose. I have reached out to Lufthansa and have a feedback number, but despite my efforts, they have not been very cooperative. I believe that Lufthansa should have records of a passenger's death on their flights and should be able to access this information by narrowing down the flights from Hong Kong to Europe on that particular date. Any guidance or assistance on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.

I left the following message on the Lufthansa website regarding my booking [redacted]. I urgently need the pending transaction stopped due to an issue with flights purchased. Lufthansa sold me flights that were not actually available, unlike other platforms like skyscanner.com or kayak. After attempting to buy directly from Lufthansa's site, I received a message in Spanish advising me to contact customer service. Despite this, the pending transaction is still showing in my bank account. The flights were supposedly operated by United but were unavailable there as well. Upsettingly, Lufthansa still advertises these flights as available on their site. The price charged differs from what was shown during purchase, and I have not received any missed calls despite claims otherwise in an email. I believe this situation is a scam and request the pending transaction be canceled promptly. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I would like to address the recent issues regarding my flights with Lufthansa. Initially, my return flight (LH1448) booking code UNR64S was changed, causing some disruption. Subsequently, my outbound flight was also altered, requiring me to travel to Istanbul. Despite having all necessary documentation, including a Travel Visa and a negative Covid-19 test result, I was denied boarding without a clear explanation. This was distressing as I was traveling to visit my elderly mother in a care facility. I paid additional expenses for a new flight and incurred costs for the unnecessary trip to Istanbul. I am disappointed and frustrated by the lack of assistance and communication from Lufthansa. The experience has left me out of pocket and uncertain about the return leg of my journey. I seek reimbursement for the incurred expenses and resolution to this matter promptly.

Hello, On October 9th, I called your sales service to cancel my booking TKUDIH. The representative assured me that I would receive a full refund within 3 weeks. After canceling, we decided to make a new reservation for the same destination, LAJDDE. Today, some friends who are on the same flight as us wanted to do the same, but were told they couldn't get a full refund. When I called, I was also informed that I wouldn't be fully refunded and that the operator who cancelled the booking didn't check properly. Please investigate on your end. The conversation was recorded, so you can listen to last Friday's exchange to confirm that the operator assured me of a full refund. Thank you for your assistance. Have a great day, F. Montagne

Subject: Re: Assistance Required for Missed Flight Dear Lufthansa, I am writing in relation to [redacted], the ticket number for my recent booking. I am deeply disappointed by the oversight that led to me not being scheduled for the flight from Cincinnati to Berlin on October 26, despite receiving an itinerary and providing my payment details. Upon arriving at CVG airport, I was informed by United Airlines after a two-hour wait that my reservation was not processed by Lufthansa's representatives, resulting in considerable inconvenience on my part. Given the current challenges posed by the pandemic, each day is crucial for my business trip to Berlin. I had to undergo additional COVID-19 tests due to the situation, incurring costs of $[redacted] per test, alongside the added expenses and time involved. The lack of proper assistance and support from Lufthansa has only added to my frustration during this already stressful time. I would like to request, at a minimum, reimbursement for the COVID-19 tests totaling $[redacted] and the taxi fares amounting to $80. I trust that Lufthansa will address these concerns promptly to restore its reputation and provide satisfactory resolution to this matter. Thank you for your attention to this issue. Sincerely, C. Hammerlein

Subject: Refund Request for Cancelled Flight Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to request a full refund for a flight booked with your airline for July 17th, [redacted] that was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The booking consisted of three return tickets from London to Riyadh through Amoun Travel & Tours LTD Agency. When flights were cancelled in March [redacted], I contacted Amoun Agency and was informed by a staff member about the cancellation due to COVID-19 travel restrictions. Despite multiple attempts to obtain confirmation via email, I have not received any communication from the agency regarding the cancellation. In May, I spoke with a staff member of the agency to request a refund. Initially, I was informed that due to the lockdown in the travel industry, support could not be provided. Despite repeated follow-up calls, no reimbursement or explanation for the delay has been provided. I am expecting a full refund of my payments and have been informed that the process may take time. However, I believe ample time has passed for Lufthansa and Amoun Travel Agency to fulfill the refund. I kindly request the full refund for the three tickets without further delay. Yours sincerely, Asma A.

Dear Sir or Madam, I am reaching out to inquire about the refund process for a flight I had booked with your airline for July 17th, [redacted], which was ultimately canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I had purchased three round-trip tickets with Lufthansa from London to Riyadh through Amoun Travel & Tours LTD Agency. In March [redacted], amidst flight cancellations in the UK, I contacted Amoun Agency and was informed that the flights had been canceled due to COVID-19 travel restrictions. Despite my repeated attempts to obtain confirmation via email from the agency, none has been provided. After finally speaking to a staff member at the agency in May, I requested a refund. Initially, I was informed that due to the timing of the flights (scheduled for July), assistance was limited given the industry lockdown. Despite multiple follow-up calls, I have not received the reimbursement or an explanation for the delay. I am expecting a full refund for the payments made for the three tickets. Although I was advised that the refund process might be extended, I believe ample time has passed for Lufthansa and Amoun Travel Agency to issue the refund. I kindly request the prompt processing of the full refund for my tickets. Best regards, Asma A.

Ticket [redacted] On 15.10, I received an email from you regarding a flight change. On 17.10.[redacted], I contacted your service hotline at 16:52 and spoke with a representative named Stefan, reference number [redacted]. He mentioned that for technical reasons, I needed to confirm the change. I explained that due to COVID-19, we cannot enter the USA. The representative informed me that cancellation was not possible but suggested exchanging the flight for a voucher up to 24 hours before departure after confirming the change, which I did. Since there have been no changes to entry requirements, I intended to exchange the flight for a voucher. However, when I called the service number provided, I was informed that by confirming the change, I forfeited the right to a voucher and my money. This situation is unacceptable to me. I kindly request a review of the conversation on 17.10 and issuance of a voucher as initially agreed upon. Dr. SW
