On June 20, [redacted], I booked a round-trip flight from New York JFK to Bucharest OTP on the Lufthansa website with booking number OEQ7NL for passenger N.V. The departure date is June 30, [redacted]. After contacting the service center to reschedule the flight for next year, I was informed that it's currently not possible for flights beyond June [redacted]. I have a Lufthansa ticket under the name Mrs. Elena Sverdlova for a return flight from London Heathrow T2 to St Petersburg, Russia with ref. number R814YJ. The outbound flight is on July 8 via Frankfurt and return on July 22 via Zurich. Due to flight cancellations by Lufthansa related to the coronavirus, I reached out to them via email and received case number COM-[redacted] on June 25. Despite their promise to act promptly, I haven't received any updates since. When trying to contact Customer Services, I faced difficulties with the line being busy or in French. I am hoping for a refund or at least to reschedule my flights for July [redacted]. My previous experience attempting to rebook a March 29 flight also met challenges due to unhelpful assistance from the airline's website regarding COVID-19 disruptions. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Baggage Fees Issue / July [redacted] Lufthansa Flights To Whom It May Concern, I am inquiring if it is still possible to file a complaint considering the incidents that occurred on July 6, [redacted] (outbound flight) and July 23, [redacted] (return flight). I had misplaced my documentation, which is why I am reaching out at this late hour. Here are the details: We were on a tour in the Greek islands, a group of 7 individuals (Alain M. - Giovanna A. - Nathalie B. - Adrien D. - Ann-Sophie M. - Thomas C. - Charline M.) Outbound flight on July 6, [redacted] LH1756 to ATH via MUC (LH2295) There was not enough space inside the plane for all the carry-on luggage, so we were asked to check some in. Unfortunately, one of the bags did not make it to the destination; it was under the name of Nathalie B., reference LH693728. On that day, there was a baggage system failure in Brussels, which likely caused the luggage to go missing. After numerous calls, emails, and various efforts, I arranged for a local Greek carrier to pick up the suitcase and deliver it to Amorgos, the island we were on at the time. Cost: 50 euros. The suitcase was returned to us 5 days later on July 11, [redacted]. We had to purchase some essentials to manage in the meantime: toothbrush, toothpaste, sandals, swimsuit, etc. Cost: approximately [redacted] euros. Return flight on July 23, [redacted] LH1753 to BRU via MUC On that day, there was a serious fire in Athens, and our flight, like many others, was canceled. We spent many hours with no information at Athens airport. We had to buy drinks and food for 7 people (no receipts - Cost: around [redacted] euros). Around 10 pm, we were finally able to leave the airport. We had to pay for 2 taxis to get to the Semiramis hotel booked for us by Lufthansa, which was covered. Each taxi ride cost about 55 euros, totaling 4 times 55 euros (2 taxis to the hotel and 2 taxis back to the airport the next morning). Unfortunately, I only have 2 receipts out of the 4 trips as drivers sometimes refuse to provide receipts. Cost: approximately [redacted] euros. The total expenses I can calculate amount to around [redacted] euros. Additionally, there were phone calls, emails, and the distress caused by these issues that hinder

I have a ticket for July 16th from Munich to Oslo. I still need to register my dog and found out last week that LH currently does not accept animals from Munich. Frankfurt has been cleared - when will Munich be cleared? Where can I register the dog, one Golden Retriever? Does LH from Munich accept animals? I have the transport box, how does the check-in process work in Munich? Continuing from Oslo to Alta with SAS. How does it work in Oslo with a dog? I could cry, I am completely exhausted! Because I can't reach anyone to help me, I have been calling [redacted]9 almost hourly for two weeks from 11:00 p.m. I don't think all lines are always busy! LH should have been better prepared for the rush, especially now with the easing of restrictions. I am at the end of my nerves daily now, I don't know what will happen with the dog. Please, please help me... Registering the dog/ Does LH transport dogs in the cargo hold from Munich/ Frankfurt also had the ban which is now lifted... when will Munich be cleared?? How will my dog be handled in Oslo? Please, I am 66 years old and at the end of my nerves. Thank you!! V. Schneider Booking code = 05FF5S

I finally managed to contact Lufthansa about my booking, and they changed it now, it's pretty much the same as what I purchased initially. The only difference is the airport; instead of Milan MXP, they changed it to Milan Linate. I asked the lady who made this change if Milan Linate Airport was closed, and she said no, it was open, so I accepted the change. Now, after looking into it more, I see that Milan Linate Airport is actually closed. However, I noticed that the flight number I have is departing from Milan Malpensa. My question is: If Milan Linate Airport remains closed, should I go directly to Malpensa? Or would I have issues since my ticket shows departure from Milan Linate? My booking number is T4BAUG for July 31, [redacted]. Thank you.

As such, we are requesting a full refund for the tickets we purchased and do not wish to explore any alternate options as outlined in your previous communication. Hello, I am very frustrated about my reservation number: SNY79M and my confirmation code: MDO44927 for Krakow on August 10, [redacted], under the name Maillier S. and Salagnac L. Initially, there was a change in the flight time which was manageable. However, later, the airline informed me that my layover in Frankfurt was extended to 12 hours instead of 1.5 hours, causing me to arrive in Krakow on August 11 at 10 a.m. instead of the evening of August 10, disrupting my plans. Lufthansa offered two solutions: accept the change or reschedule the trip. I chose to reschedule, but then discovered my trip was canceled without access to my booking details. I am requesting a refund of my ticket ([redacted].48 euros). Thank you for your understanding. Regards

Hello, my name is Giuseppe Teofili, and I am traveling with my family of 10 from TLL to FCO on July 22nd. Our two booking references are: - GIUSEPPE TEOFILI U5F8B2 - SIMONA DE ANGELIS U5WUIK I have two questions: 1. As we are a large family, I am wondering if we can receive assistance during our layover in Frankfurt. I am looking to inquire about the possibility of using a small electric car to reach our connecting gate comfortably. Do I need to make a special request? What are the conditions? 2. Regarding hand luggage, I understand that for flights to Italy, we need to bring on board small bags that fit under the seat. Are small trolleys allowed? If we are asked to check our trolleys at the check-in or boarding gate, would it count as checked baggage weighing 23 kg? I appreciate your assistance and look forward to your response. Thank you.Giuseppe Teofili

Hello! My name is DOMBOUGAFE Alexis. In March, I booked a round trip from Helsinki to Paris with the outgoing flight on March 5, [redacted], and the return on March 27, with reservation code: QM2UGW. I have already completed the first journey from Helsinki to Paris. However, on March 9, I had to travel to Africa for business and got stuck there for over 4 months due to the Covid-19 crisis. I tried to check the availability of my return flight to Helsinki, but unfortunately, the reservation reference code is no longer working. I am stuck and unsure how to make a new booking, hence why I am seeking your assistance in this matter. I urgently need to return home to Helsinki between July 29 and August 1. Thank you!

Dear Lufthansa Team, The current situation facing Lufthansa and myself, as a Lufthansa customer, is certainly very challenging due to the impact of the Coronavirus. This affects not only Lufthansa as a company but also impacts me as an individual. I am reaching out directly to you as I have not received assistance from any Lufthansa department regarding my concern. In February [redacted], I booked a flight to Chicago (LH [redacted] departing on August 21, booking code: OVXHDP). In May [redacted], due to the rapid spread of the Coronavirus worldwide starting in March [redacted], I made the decision not to travel to the USA. Consequently, I cancelled my ticket with Lufthansa. However, a Lufthansa booking/service employee declined to initiate a refund of my ticket amount (€[redacted].33 including seat reservation). The explanation given was that Lufthansa would only provide a credit under my name and that I was not entitled to a cash refund. Additionally, Lufthansa would not provide written confirmation of this credit, leaving me without proof of credit with Lufthansa. Considering the ongoing pandemic situation and the fact that I do not plan to reschedule my trip to the USA or travel elsewhere next year due to being in a high-risk group (64 years old with underlying health conditions), I am requesting a refund from Lufthansa. The current approach by Lufthansa is not acceptable, and I urge Lufthansa to address this matter for me as a loyal customer. Thank you in advance for your assistance. Sincerely, Gabriele K. I seek your prompt attention to this matter and would appreciate a refund or credit voucher for the ticket and insurance charges to facilitate my revised travel plans. During these challenging times amid Covid-19, I had planned to travel from England to India. I booked a Lufthansa flight from Birmingham to Delhi via Frankfurt for 17th March [redacted]. Unfortunately, upon reaching Frankfurt, I was informed that all Lufthansa flights from there were canceled. In a rush to avoid being stranded, I had to purchase a new ticket with British Airways to return to London. After many hardships, I managed to secure a Virgin Atlantic flight from London Heathrow to Delhi. Regrettably, amidst the chaos, I lost my baggage at London Airport. I have reached out to Lufthansa, Air India, and British Airways detailing my ordeal but have not received any response. I am a student and losing money in this situation has been quite stressful. I kindly request either a refund for the lost funds due to Lufthansa's actions or a one-way ticket to Delhi equivalent to what I paid for the initial flight from Birmingham. Passenger Name: MISS I. During the challenging times of the Covid era, I endeavored to return to India from England. My flight from Birmingham to Delhi via Frankfurt with LUFTHANSA on 17th March [redacted] hit a roadblock as all LUFTHANSA flights from Frankfurt were suddenly canceled upon my arrival. This unforeseen circumstance led me to book a new ticket with BRITISH AIRWAYS from Frankfurt to London to avoid being stranded in Germany. Unfortunately, amidst this chaotic situation, I lost my baggage at the airport in London. The relevant details of my bookings and baggage loss are provided below. The financial strain caused by these events has been particularly hard as a student. I have reached out to Lufthansa, Air India, and British Airways to explain my predicament but have yet to receive any response. I kindly seek either a refund for the losses incurred due to Lufthansa's actions or a one-way ticket from any airport in India back to London/Birmingham/Manchester, with the cost adjusted based on my original Birmingham to Delhi booking.
