Hi there, I'd like to request a return ticket from Torino to Copenhagen through Frankfurt with the reservation number OYQKN7. The initial departure was from Torino on March 15th at 14:20 and the return from Copenhagen on March 17th at 19:10. Our Danish counterparts have informed us that due to the coronavirus situation, they are unable to accommodate us in Denmark without a 14-day quarantine in advance. As a result, our meeting has been postponed indefinitely due to the uncertainties surrounding the current situation. We are inquiring about the possibility of a refund for our tickets or the option of receiving a travel voucher for future use in the upcoming months. Thank you for your attention and consideration. Best regards, Elena D.

I would like to cancel my trip from Seattle to Basel and request a refund. My wife and I are both 71 years old, and due to health reasons, we have been advised against taking long-haul flights. My wife has diabetes, and I underwent surgery to drain a subdural bleeding last November. Considering we live in the Seattle area, which is heavily affected by the coronavirus, we are concerned about the possibility of being quarantined in Frankfurt. Our booking number is U3BLSM. If a refund is not possible, we would appreciate a credit for future travel within a year, given the exceptional circumstances with the coronavirus situation. Thank you.

I have booked a flight from Seattle to Frankfurt to Tallinn departing on April 25th on LH491 with Lufthansa for my meeting and returning on May 6th. The reservation is under the name Carolyn Webster-Stratton. I am considering canceling the flight and am curious if a refund is available. Additionally, I would like to know if it's possible to change the dates to a later time. If I decide to rebook, is there a deadline for when the new dates need to be scheduled, or do I have a certain period of time to do so after canceling? Thank you.

Dear Madam/Sir, I trust you are well considering the current circumstances. I am Etleva Paplekaj, holding a booking number with Lufthansa TR8533. I have observed that my initial flight [redacted] from Amsterdam to Frankfurt has been changed to a departure time of 19:35, with a connecting flight number [redacted] to Tirana at 20:40. I am concerned as the layover time seems insufficient for me to make the connection within the allocated timeframe. While I understand a delay of 1 hour, I kindly request a review of the timing between gates for the onward journey from Frankfurt to Tirana with flight number [redacted]. Given the current schedule, it seems unfeasible for me to catch the connecting flight to Tirana with flight [redacted] after arriving on flight [redacted]. I would appreciate it if you could explore possible solutions to this matter. Thank you for your attention to this issue. Anticipating your prompt response. Etleva Paplekaj

Hello, I purchased a direct flight with reservation code LRCYK7 back in February. There have been changes to my trip, with the return flight being canceled. I am reaching out to request a prompt and full refund as per ENAC regulations. I am disappointed with the lack of communication since I have been unable to reach your phone support despite the pleasant hold music. Please respond promptly, or I will escalate this matter with legal action involving lawyers and ENAC. You have my email, and my contact number is +39 [redacted]. I trust that you will uphold your responsibilities as a reputable company. Sincerely, Enrico G.

On November 7, [redacted], my wife Joyce and I were scheduled to depart from Charlotte, NC on Lufthansa Flight [redacted] to Munich, connecting to Flight [redacted] on November 8 to Budapest. We were part of the Viking Cruise Blue Danube, booking number #TOR[redacted]. Upon attempting to print our boarding passes, we discovered that the flights were canceled due to an unauthorized strike by Lufthansa crew members. Viking Cruises promptly refunded our cruise fees. We are now seeking reimbursement for our trip insurance, costing $[redacted] per person ($[redacted] total), purchased through Trip Mate. Although Trip Mate has reimbursed our trip expenses, they have not refunded the insurance costs. We feel entitled to this refund due to the unforeseen strike. We reside at [redacted] Golf View Bend, Elgin, SC, and our contact number is [redacted]. We look forward to your guidance on what further details you might need and the next steps to proceed. Thank you for your assistance. James Jerow

Dear Sir, Today I was informed that my original flight booking made on February 23rd from BHX at 18:20 on 31/3/20 has been cancelled and rebooked for an alternate service from BHX at 11:00 on the same day. When checking My Bookings, I saw a notification stating, “A schedule change has occurred on this trip. Please contact our call center if you want to change or cancel this reservation. ([redacted])”. Despite attempting to contact the call center without success, the My Booking service on the app indicated that my ticket could be cancelled and refunded. Consequently, I cancelled the ticket through the app in anticipation of a full refund. Subsequently, I received an email stating, “Important Notices: If your ticket fare allows any refunds, the amount will be calculated and credited back to your account.” Uncertain about whether the ticket is refundable, I request confirmation that a full refund will be processed.

Regarding Lufthansa Booking Code ULR3DK for Mr. A. Tetlow and Mrs. T. Carlton-Tetlow, We were scheduled to travel from Manchester to Frankfurt and then Frankfurt to Buenos Aires on 14/03/[redacted]. Due to the COVID-19 situation, return flights from Argentina were canceled, and a 14-day isolation requirement upon arrival was implemented. Our upcoming journey to Antarctica from Ushuaia on 18/03/[redacted] became unfeasible. Despite attempts since 13/03/[redacted], we have been unsuccessful in reaching Lufthansa by phone. Seeking guidance on refund options or alternative booking transfers is our main concern. Lufthansa's policy, as mentioned on their website, allows rescheduling of all tickets before 31/12/[redacted]. We have been offered a replacement cruise for March [redacted], which falls after the mentioned deadline. Not being able to reach Lufthansa via phone, I initiated the refund process on the website. However, it seems only the return legs of our trip are eligible for refund, overlooking the canceled outbound flights to Argentina. I urgently request Lufthansa's assistance in this matter, understanding the current challenges you may be facing. Thank you, A. Tetlow Sent from my iPhone

I purchased flights through Expedia.com with Lufthansa. My flight code is OT539N. The flights booked are Lufthansa #[redacted] departing Newark (EWR) on March 24th, [redacted], heading to Frankfurt (FRA), followed by Lufthansa #[redacted] departing FRA on March 25th to Palma de Mallorca (PMI). I'm reaching out about my booking with confirmation no. U8F9FG. Due to the current situation, I am trying to adjust my travel plans, but I've encountered difficulties on the website and when calling the customer service line. The flights on this reservation have been changed multiple times, leading to confusion about my journey. I urgently need to change the dates of my trip to May and require assistance from an agent. I've been attempting to contact your team for several days, facing long wait times and disconnections. I appreciate the challenges with the high call volume but need guidance on how to proceed. If necessary, I am willing to cancel the booking, although I understand these tickets are non-refundable. Could you clarify if a refund would be possible in this case and if I can rebook online or if a customer service agent is required for the process? I am concerned about losing my investment and would like to avoid any unnecessary expenses.
