Hello. I am very upset and hoping you can assist. I paid ***.** Euros for a roundtrip flight on Departure: ** September **** * FRA-ML Lufthansa booking code:*PRFCBT. *Fri. ** September ****: Frankfurt – Malta ***:** h *Frankfurt Frankfurt (FRA)*Terminal ****:** h *Malta Malta (MLA)***LH *****operated by:*Lufthansa*Status: confirmed*Class*Fare: Economy Class* Economy Light (W)*Sun. ** September ****: Malta – Frankfurt ***:** h *Malta Malta (MLA)****:** h *Frankfurt Frankfurt (FRA)*Terminal **On Friday, I missed the flight because of the security times at Frankfurt airport. It was very long. By the time I made it to the gate at *:**pm, the gate lady said it already took off. I got an alert showing the flight was delayed too. She did not even try to help or assist. She could have atleast called them and tried. She was just saying no no no. She directed me to goto the Lufthansa service center at the airport. I went all the way back to gate A** and that person told me to go outside and upstairs to the ticketing center. I went to the ticketing center and once again received no help. No customer service. They do not even try to help. Not friendly at all. I do not remember the lady's name but she said she cannot put me on another flight. I asked if she can put me and my girlfriend on another flight for Saturday. She refused and said I need to pay for a one way out of my own pocket. It made no sense. I had to return back on Sunday. So spend more money and pay more for a one way ticket for one day only to return on Sunday? I asked for a refund for Sunday's flight then she said no and refused also. But she said my flight is still booked for Sunday and I would not have any issues. So my only option was to spend more money and book a one way flight for myself and my girlfriend or miss the flight on Sunday and lose all my money ***.** Euros. What kind of policy is that? Where is the customer service? Such a waste of money. So I ended up booking * one way flights for Saturday. ***.** Euros. So basically I paid ****.** Euros for a one day roundtrip flight. It is crazy. I would have never booked and canceled completely is I knew this would have been the case. When returning from Malta on Sunday, I was not able to check in online. Me and my girlfriend were very worried about our returning flights. Once I got to the airport, the agent there said the flight was canceled out because of the first flight. WHAT? Makes no sense. The rep at Frankfurt airport said my Sunday return flight is still current and I wouldn't have any issues returning. Another big mess at Malta airport with Lufthansa. What a terrible experience overall. No customer service. No one even tries to be helpful. They do the minimum of their job. I have flown with so many airlines and never experienced any issues like this. Other airlines, if you miss a flight, they book you on the next available flight and also give you a hotel voucher if the flight is the next day. What can Lufthansa do to provide a solution? Provide a refund? Partial? Credit? Something. Basically ****.** for a round trip flight only for one night. Please assist. Thank you.
