On my recent flight from Munich to Copenhagen, Lufthansa Number **** on June **th, **** I was hit on the left side of my face by a laptop that fell out of the overhead compartment. I was sitting in the exit row Seat **E. At the beginning of the flight I noticed the attendant moving luggage around and stacking belongings to make room in the compartments. The flight was overly full, and it was evident that belongings were stacked in an unsafe, unprofessional mannner. When the flight landed, another passenger opened the overhead compartment and it fell out and hit me in the face and landed on the ground. The man behind me was the owner of the laptop and commented that the flight attendant had moved his laptop. We waited until most passengers departed to get ice and fill out an accident report. The flight attendants seemed concerned* however, they told me I needed to be more careful when opening the overheads even though I already had told them I hadn’t even left my seat yet. This made me extremely upset because not only was I in pain, I was being blamed for something that was not in my control. When my boyfriend told the flight attendant she had reorganized the overhead, she denied that she had, and then a moment later the owner of the laptop proceeded to the front of the airplane where we were standing. He expressed his anger and commented on how she had moved the laptop unsafely even though she had initially denied moving it. A major concern that I also have is that there were not any accident or injury reports to fill out on the airplane so I was told to fill one out online. This seems very unprofessional and disorganized, and after being injured I should not have had to go out of my way to try to find one online. I feel very uncomfortable having to pay for such an unsafe experience and how the situation was handled by the flight attendants. *-Paige Winders*P*****@***.com*(***)***-****
