URGENT On March **,**** I flew in with Lufthansa LH*** from Frankfurt to San Diego. I requested through your airlines wheelchair service due to neuropathy of my limbs from arrival gate, through customs and baggage area. In the process of leaving the baggage area the person in charge of driving my wheelchair drove me into a metal post before leaving airport*fracturing my left foot. **What responsibility does Lufthansa have as they provided these services causing me to go with ambulance to hospital where I was told I had fractured foot. I was given a boot to wear but as an elderly ** yr old woman, ( this fracture will disable me for six more weeks diagnosed by Orthropedic Surgeon later in Knoxville where my son lives close by). I also have to wear support hosiery due to my deep vein thrombosis risk . My return trip to Frankfurt will afford difficulties for me as I can’t walk around during ten hour trip. How much responsibility does Lufthansa carry for such accidents and problems caused by wheelchair service ordered for me my your airlines. I will be taking LH*** Atlanta to Frankfurt- then LH *** Frankfurt to Muenchen.**I believe if you could upgrade my flight back to Germany to “first class” *(At no extra cost to me), that would enable me to lay with my leg elevated, stretch and exercise my leg to avoid a pulmonary embolism which my US doctor says that this is a high risk possibility on my long return flight **Please advise as soon as possible **Regards **Emily Wriedt
